I made this recipe for my sister-in-law’s birthday. This pear tart was fabulous and the flavors were amazing! Thank you for sharing. This is my third recipe prepared (pre-peared) from Sugar Geek’s informative (and humorous!) instruction and my favorite.
This recipe was soooo delicious!!! Not hard to make either. It seemed that the crust recipe was for two tarts, so I just split it and froze half. That wine reduction is truly delicious, as well. I’ll be making it again. Happy New Year! I will look forward to some more yummy recipes.

At 18:08, your description of the flavor of the wine glaze “like mold wine” made me lose it 🤣 Aa always it’s been educational and entertaining. BTW, I’m loving my new Bosch (his unofficial name is Boss) and have made cookies and bread and I did those just in the time it took me to tap out this message! I jest! I jest...but it really is a marvelously easy and efficient workhorse 💖

The recipe looks great. And your detailed instructions are very much appreciated. And I have to say that your hair looks particularly nice in this vid. That said, please let me tell you, as a good, gentle, and very honest friend, you must please stop laughing at your own jokes. You can be well-spirited and cheerful but don't laugh at yourself. Be clear, I'm not criticizing you at all. I want you to succeed. But you must realize that there is a number of reasons why even comedians don't do it.
All you recipe look so yummy , and I tried most of them, they are amazing, And one thing please, In Australia we use cups can you write the recipe on cups please, That will be awesome 😀

Hello I love all the videos I have watched so far, this has nothing to do with this video, but I would like to know if you could do a mini video on how to strip a square cake? I am doing a 2 tier square present cake and want the bottom to be like a candy cane. Could you do one before next weekend. I kind of have it in my head but want all the side to flow together. If you could even tell me how I think I could do it. Thanks and keep doing what you do.. We are doing you Mashmallow Fondant. Be blessed.

Love poached pears in some merlot with cloves so this tart is a winner for me
