Modding the 1.0 seems a bit redundant when the stock 1.5 matches these specs. I want to see the 1.5 gt with a tune. That would be a serious car.

There comes a time when 110 hp is more than enough.. we just need a quick car to tell the subconscious mind that this thing is fast well I own the polo GT tsi DSG it's quick so 104 is more than enough
@@ajinkya.r.w1106 it's just because of the weight of the car, and that car is so fun to drive (manual) I haven't driven the dsg... But I owned a manual, now I have a rapid instead because polo got in an accident and I didn't wanna repair it because of how expensive it came out to be so I just bought a rapid...
I would rather spend the 2.5 lakhs for buying the 1.5L and then modding it, which is exactly what I did. Factory hp is factory hp.

@@saumabhobagchi5547 oh okay no problem actually with the car I have everything related to stage 3 (springs,dampers,rotors,turbo,IC,Dp etc brand new) just didn’t install it due to some unforeseen personal reasons.

Vertus is such a stable car inspite of high ground clearance, I was astonished when he escorted my tiguan on the way to trissure to kochi,both were 170 to 180,kerala roads were new to me it was midnight, he really helped me to navigate the road ,I wanted to stop him and convey my thanks ,he was in race mode 😂

A Torque converter gearbox doesn't usually need any TCU tuning as it will shift according to torque
Yeah. A torque converter box is pretty hard to tune too. I haven't seen anybody doing that. I have a TC car, with an ECU tune, but I couldn't get the TCU modified for the shift behavior I needed. If this car is a TC, then claiming a TCU tune is mostly bluffing.

Turns out that while the ecu for the 1.5 tsi is not yet cracked, Chip Tuning will work.
Saw 2 posts on instagram of a slavia 1.5 running a race chip tuning box. I'll be ordering one for my virtus gt after confirming the tuning box for the T-Roc will Work, If it works the power figures claimed for it are 194ps and 323Nm torque. Next step will be to order a bosch MD1 Ecu found on a euro spec octavia 1.5 Tsi.
Than you will be having dsg failures as dq200 (used in virtus) cannot handle more than 250nm of torque.
@@divyarajsingh99 My skoda laura DQ200 is running 410 Nm of torque, though it is running an upgraded clutch + dsg tune.

@@divyarajsingh99 Buy the manual if you will cross 60-70k kms within these 10 years. Also be sure to take the longest extended warranty possible(if you are buying either dsg or manual)
Torque converter gearbox doesn’t have a TCU tune available because it doesn’t need one. Torque converter swifts up and down depending up on the the torque it’s getting from the engine so if the engine is tuned and creates more power then the gearbox will automatically swift up when the threshold is met Unlike the the DSG which is set up to swift up or down depending up on the information its given by the TCU so if u dont tune the TCU after the ECU tune then the DSG gearbox wont be in sync with the engine newer power outputs and damage the gearbox while limiting the full potential of the ECU tune aswell.
Who told you torque converter doesn’t need or have a tune even though it’s not unlocked yet due to low market
Every ECU OR TCU can be tuned it depends on its market value and relatability

Same map on manual 1L tsi and TC but the map performance 100 times better on manual bcoz of no tcu tuning available for TC

Do you guys really consider this a stage 2? Yes, it has airfileters, exhaust, etc. But a normal stage 1 on the 1L produces 140 bhp. Is it the tune itself that limited? An actual stage 2 with all these mods should take it way further
As he said that this has a more subtle and linear tune. And yes even a stage 1+ can make 135hp
@@jethalalgada5 That's what I'm trying to say. A normal stage 1 tune makes 140 bhp. After all these mods you'd still expect more power of its running a stage 2 tune even though it's supposed to be subtle

How many inches would that wheels and tyres be? It seems its a low profile. Can anybody give me a idea? I can see lowering springs reduced ground clearance to reduce the gap between wheel arches, but please let me know the wheel and tyre size

what is the specifications of the wheels. Is is 17 inch rim and what is the width. TIA
Those tyres will scrape in fenders when there are 3-4 passengers in the car. Overall a decent build.👍🏻
If the wheels & tyres have been upsized while keeping the overall wheel diameter within 3% of OE or the same as OE nothing will touch or scrape.
Most people just put whatever size they feel like and then it scrapes & rubs.
The reduced gap is from the lowering springs and the stiffer springs will not let the shocks bottom out if the stiffness/spring rate is doubled vs OE springs.
@@KirkLazurusmy a35 AMG had 235 40 18 stock tyres and i upgraded it to 245 45 18 and nothing's scraping.
I'm upgrading it to 255 soon

Don't go 255 45 that will be too much. Cause too much speedo error. Increase rotational mass.

The stage 1 code6 tune also gives the same gains as stated by you being 140bhp and 240nm torque. So how come this stage 2 is still being bound to these power figures???… I’m a bit confused can anyone help me with that??

I m waiting for it man. I have tried multiple sources and connects everywhere but it is technically not available. VW does not make it parts available to consumers outside the service centre. The best bet is ebay, getting a used one or retrofitting the polo cluster from the European spec, but will display the polo image.
@@shikharjain5831 It's basically a Polo with a boot, no matter how hard Indian automotive media try to tell us. The Slavia is a Euro spec Fabia with a boot
@@saumabhobagchi5547 A 100% correct. Its just a long version of the polo and the fabia which were fancily rebranded as luxury c segment sedans for India. As a matter of fact, we shouldnt mind that because I am currently in the UK and VW actually sells really good sedans here, but they do cost hefty. Polo and fabia are like the alto and tiago versions of vw here😂😂
what exhaust system would you recommend that is not that loud but has a deep tone like how borla exhaust feels? imo having cheap loud sound is awkward which some chapris cannot understand.

MRS and MR2 are both correct as the car was known as the MRS in Japan, MR2 Spyder in America, MR2 Roadster in Europe and MR in France

Can the Virtus 1.0 be fitted with rear disc brakes as well ? Also what would be the effect of stage 2 tune on a 1.5 GT TSI DCT , any revelations for the uninitiated ?
Only the 1.0L ECU has been cracked yet. 1.5L is still locked, so no performance mods available currently

Assumptions- for an aggressive stage 2 tune, almost 200hp and 350-400Nm torque. For a mild tune- 180hp and 300-320 Nm of torque
Here in Brazil, my Virtus ha brake disc on rear wheels. I'm driving it with a piggyback who gives more 25~~28hp
@@saumabhobagchi5547 there are not conditions you can install direct disc brake but the rear stud will be different from gti to gt variant so the easiest way to install rear disc brake with rear subframe.
I don’t think you need rear disc brake for polo 1.0 or 1.2 tsi even you push this engines to the limit
I would suggest ebc, brembo drill rotors or ate for polo 1.0 tsi or 1.2 tsi.
Also front GTI oem BBK 312mm can be installed on polo 1.0 tsi or 1.2 tsi

Sir, can altroz 1.5 diesel, b tune to 120 bhp n 260 Nm torque in Eco mode coz i want to retain factory setting 89 bhp city mode.
I think you should probably go with dieseltronic piggy back ecu with improves the mileage , hp, torque between 20% to 35 %

Intake, Downpipe and Tune. Stage 3 is with Intercooler and Bigger Turbo.

Why do you guys sit so low down in your seats? Is it comfortable or is it just to give a rally car/gokart feel? I’m 6’1 and raise the seat where my shoulders come above the door to almost a fourth of the window, otherwise I can hardly see the road. Just wondering why you guys sit low!
