Hi guys, could you give the exact pecs of the base car? The year and transmission type. Is It an auto? If so, isn't the gearbox limited to 250NM? The time might severely damage the gearbox, which is already fragile if so
Hello, the car is a skoda Octavia 2018 1.8tsi, with a DQ200 gearbox. Yes you are right, the gearbox can't handle much torque, but it's possible to change to a race /Kevlar clutch to increase the torque limit.
Unfortunately , we have not heard or tried that particular tune yet personally , but if it is giving you the results you are aiming for at a good price then don't see why you should not experiment with it, do let us know how you feel about the map :) But if experimenting always be careful for the first few weeks to understand how your car is responding on all parameters.
I don’t know what tune to go for my 1.2 polo gt tsi i am very confused as a beginner that what is the difference between all of the tunes currently the options that i have is etuners greece , revo , code 6. , quantum and sorry to say i don’t know why so much tuner near me are criticising etuners greece but they do not give any reason for it then what is the personal grudge they have. Please tell me which is the best tune i can get as my personal preference is a bit aggressive tune
Don't tune the 1.2 GT TSI. It's a lethargic motor with minor gains due to it's SOHC format. At max 5-7 HP gains with stage 1 and 12- 15 HP with decat stage 2. 1.0 tsi is way more mod friendly. Just get a tvs stage 2 tcu tune for dq200 and enjoy your car.

Hello Santosh , We haven't really had a chance to get more first hand knowledge with the race dynamics tune but as far as code6 is concerned for a city drive it's a great map , as it still helps for a smoother drive and gives the power when you need it , fuel efficiency too it's a little better than a few other maps ! 👍 Hope this helps 😊

Hello Darkzen , there are multiple dealers across mumbai who are doing different tunes and are all great at their work , it majorly depends which tune do you want to go for and according to that you can head there :)
I’ll do my remap tomorrow Chosed Superchips to do the job. I have a diesel Audi A6 SE Avant, 3L V6 engine. Car is from 2010. Currently from factory it has 241 Bhp with 500Nm torque. They showed after remap my car will gain 280 Bhp with 601 Nm torque, sounds nice. Well, this car is heavy so thats why I wanted the extra, to use it when I need it ( not very often , I do take good care of my cars )

@@AutoFly Thats great news!! Wasnt that car already a great platform to build? Why did you sell that car?? I guess the 1.8 tsi style plus was a great car! Were there any issues in the car? Also does the remaps affect the cars longevity?
Absolutely great car to build on , remaps if done correctly do not severely affect the car health , need to keep your gear box in check if doing heavy upgrades (assuming if gear box still kept in stock) things like tyres, car average etc. get affected for sure. Car was sold as an exchange for a bigger car to accommodate more people (Family Requirement). Very tough to part with car, no reason besides this.
Great comparison, Very informative! I have Skoda Rapid 1.0 TSI (petrol), Can I go for Stage 1? For the performance side which map is best? What would you suggest? Thank you
Hi did u remap the TCU as well or only the ECU. I got my car remapped with Ecotune stage 1(both ECU & TCU) & it gave me 217 hp &350 NM at the crank… guess that’s a good gain with fairly linear curve delivery with max power kicking in around 3000rpm
That sounds like a good tune, 217 is a good number but what's very surprising for me is that the max power kicks in at only 3000rpm? That's really soon! How about max torque!
Thank you for clarifying this confusion with the curves, i go for Code6 because its like best of both worlds. You get low end torque, Better Efficiency, Peak HP sooner at 4.9K RPM, and not stressing the engine too much. 🤌🏼👍🏼

Hello, the car is a skoda Octavia 2018 1.8tsi, with a DQ200 gearbox. Yes you are right, the gearbox can't handle much torque, but it's possible to change to a race /Kevlar clutch to increase the torque limit.
What about the other maps, like TVS & wolf, autopsyche ?????
Don't really know how they perform first hand but you can hold our analysis as benchmark for comparison
Venom performance is the best in india
Right now
Ultimate 🎉🎉🎉
Hello Hamza , yess we do like Venom performance tunes too in some aspects 😊
What are your thoughts on Dieseltronic as if gives you multiple options for power and economy in almost same price?
Unfortunately , we have not heard or tried that particular tune yet personally , but if it is giving you the results you are aiming for at a good price then don't see why you should not experiment with it, do let us know how you feel about the map :) But if experimenting always be careful for the first few weeks to understand how your car is responding on all parameters.
What's your take on Wolf Performance? I heard they are also quite good in ECU remapping thing.
Hello , yes they are pretty good but highly depends on what type of output you want for your car and then decide
I have a new polo 1.0 tsi automatic. Hardly 1 year old. If i remap, will the warranty lapse? Does it show in the Vw system that it has been tuned???
Yes If you remap the car the warranty does lapse , if you send the mapped car to the service center it will ideally show up in their car diagnosis
How much does the revo/code 6 -1.TSI average out in city driving ?
Both give around 8-9 kms/lt depending on your driving style in the city.
Was there a mileage increase after putting the map ? And also are the cars running the TVS TCU map for thr unreliable DQ200?
Hello Ahsaan, where are you based ? And don't worry so much if you want to start some where basic first do see our video on what is stage 1 tuning and then this video on which stage 1 tune to choose , it's a very personal choice but I hope our video does justice in answering all your confusion ☺️
Which one is better for Tata Diesel?? Please reply 🙏🙏
Code 6 is the best based on the graph. Don't just look at the whp.. race the car on street.. you will see the difference.
Haha true in this case it does show that but it also depends on what your baseline comparision is , which car what other mods etc , but do agree yes code6 is a really good map for sure 👍
Best tune for polo 1.0 ?
I have swift VDI 2009 DDIS 1.3 diesel, whats the best option , looking at Race dynamics Bangalore and code 6 for tuning which gives more drivability and milage specially for highways , looking for Stage 1 upgrade please suggest.
Hello Santosh ,
We haven't really had a chance to get more first hand knowledge with the race dynamics tune but as far as code6 is concerned for a city drive it's a great map , as it still helps for a smoother drive and gives the power when you need it , fuel efficiency too it's a little better than a few other maps ! 👍 Hope this helps 😊
Great work guys!
Does ECU remap work on hyundai i20 1.2 N.A engine with CVT?
Thank you so much Junaid ! And yes remapping is possible but it will not give you significant gains as it's N.A.
@@AutoFly I have checked with Wolf and Code 6 and they are not sure of new i20 NA model mapping. they say hyundai has changed the source code.
Could you guide me on this or refer me to someone.
Hello Junaid, why dont you try reaching out and consulting with KS Motorsports I am sure they will be able to help you further :D
Remap voids manufacturers warranty? I am thinking to remap my new Tata Nexon 1.2L Petrol top model to boost low rpm turbo lag.
Yes if it is scanned by the company and found then it will void the warranty
So what kind of exhaust upgrade is recommended after stage 1 ?
You could go for a cat back system, drop us a DM on Instagram we'll help you out.
Hey I have a Punto multiple jet diesel making around 75hp and 195nm at the crank and I know the Punto has another variant sharing the same engine but with a different tune having 90hp and 215nm of torque so I was thinking if I could get a ecu remap and expect 100hp and 250 nm of torque at the crank and would it be worth getting a remap ?
Yes it's a great analysis you have done. You will definitely feel better after getting the car tuned, more power. How much gain you will get is something you will have to check with a tuner. If you send us a DM we can put you intouch with someone great.
I have swift VDI 2009 DDIS with the same specs engine, what the best option , looking at Racedynamica and code 6 for tuning which gives more driveability and milage specially for highways , Stage 1 upgrade.

Which one would be best for Audi a4
Code6
Yes we can stand by that you can see the video for comparison, Dhruvs preference was Code6 while Gautam enjoyed Superchips
Sir, i m having vw polo mpi, my preference is increase in Mileage and mid range power , which map would u prefer or advice with smooth driving dynamics
We would suggest the REVO or Code 6 remap
Hey, who is the best for doing a stage 1 remap of the BMW 3 series G28
Hello Darkzen , there are multiple dealers across mumbai who are doing different tunes and are all great at their work , it majorly depends which tune do you want to go for and according to that you can head there :)
@@AutoFly thanks. Kindly suggest somebody in Bangalore
@@darkzen2225go to Engineering Exponents, Whitefield. They are official dealers of Wolf Motoperformance.
I’ll do my remap tomorrow
Chosed Superchips to do the job.
That's a great choice, can't wait to hear about what you think of the Remap, the torque sounds Insane! DM us when you do it, would love to check it out
@@AutoFly its ex-police car , I will comment later, this morning I’m having the remap
Love your videos! Quick question, Where is this Skoda Octavia currently? You guys no longer put a video of this car🙁
Hey Emmarrem , Thank you so much for the appreciation , glad you like it , we'll the style plus variant (black octavia) we just sold it a few months back , currently working on the A3 and simultaneously working on the Onyx one (Blue Octavia) , videos will be coming very soon , its gonna be better than before , pushing way more performance and enhancements ...Stay tuned !
Sir can you help me which remap is safe for my Renault duster 85 ps for stage 1
Hey, you could try Etuners or Code 6
What about heating issue and tyre life since your tyres and engines are tuned to stock?
Haven't faced any such issues yet. But regular maintenance is important
Hi guys, great informative video. Can u suggest a good map for i20 N line ?
Check out etuners
Thank you 😊
You're welcome ! Glad you enjoyed
Great comparison, Very informative!
I have Skoda Rapid 1.0 TSI (petrol), Can I go for Stage 1? For the performance side which map is best? What would you suggest?
Thank you
Hello , Thank you so much , we appreciate your kind words, you could consider going for superchips
@@AutoFly My bad. That's max torque at 3k RPM. Max power hits at 6K RPM mark
I have brezza 2016 ZDI plus model n want stage 1 code 6 remapping, based at Banglore, can anyone suggest me the right place?
You could check out the code 6 page on Instagram and DM them. They'll help you. Give them our reference.
Subscribed 👍. Do make a video on Turbo Diesel SUV Remap too✌️.
Thank you! Yes we will try doing that as well
I can remap my car without dynamo?
Hello Cristiano , Yes you can a dyno is just to show you the gains physcially after the remap is done
Empower 🚀
Hey bro!
Thinking of doing a stage 1 remap on my 2014 Rapid 1.6 TDI(57k km). Which remap will be good?
Hey bro, totally depends on what you want out of the remap? What's your driving style like?
@@AutoFly drivability should be improved in city. Top end doesn't matter, mid range should be strong. Turbo should kick in from 1500 rpm.
@@AutoFly BTW I am also based in mumbai. Is there any whatsapp or telegram group for VAG cars owners in mumbai
Heyy bro I drive a Chevy Cruze 2.0 I am planning to remap it, so which one would you suggest.
Hey man, that's great to hear, That's a good engine to map as well! Which city are you based in?
Thank you for clarifying this confusion with the curves, i go for Code6 because its like best of both worlds. You get low end torque, Better Efficiency, Peak HP sooner at 4.9K RPM, and not stressing the engine too much. 🤌🏼👍🏼
Absolutely , great choice 🔥🔥
Hlo should i remap my s11 Scorpio 2023 stage1 upgrade
Definitely
The car is fairly new, so not sure if tunes would be available yet.
Please make a video telling about new cars remaps.
Is there a dyno tune in Hyderabad?
Tunes are available in Hyderabad but there are no dynos in Hyderabad as per our knowledge
Do Pete's and APR too
Sure , Will try to jump on it when we do get a chance ☺️
