Bravo! Excellent description! I had Tonsillectomy at 39 yrs. There is conflicting opinion within the medical community. The horrible white bacteria trapped in the pores of tonsils basically gives you constant halitosis- another good reason to remove them! At 59 yr now, I finally realize the awful western diet caused me many years of poor health- too much carbs, sugar and hydrogenated oils. More organic fruits, veggies and farm meats now! 😃
I had a Tonsillectomy at the age of 19, but I believe my real problem was that I was allergic to dairy products. Additionally, throughout my youth I was on antibiotics for reoccurring Strep Throat and Sinusitis, and later learned that antibiotics also kill good bacteria, thereby making you susceptible to reinfection with bad bacteria again, turning into a vicious cycle.. I also had excess accumulation of mucus, also due to the dairy products. All that accumulated mucus promotes growth of bad bacteria. When I quit eating dairy products, my health was tremendously improved. It was amazing to no longer cough up mucus or have to blow it from my nose. My lungs felt open for the first time. I never had Strep Throat or Sinusitis again.
I had cut out dairy a few years ago in an attempt to see if it was causing my acne but didn't notice any changes. I haven't had any infections since my tonsillectomy so hopefully it stays that way!

Most likely adenovirus--not strep. But you did what you did, and I hope it works!
I haven't had any infections since sooo, knock on wood it stays that way! 🤞
Did you get an HIV test? You need to include this at least 2 times a year or more if you are very sexually active
I do try and stay on top of my health and get an STD panel done every few months. Thanks!
They say if you get your Tonsils out that you gain weight.
I've lost 20 pounds so far this year so I'm happy to be the exception 😂
@@Sco-Show Ha, congrats man! Hope you are doing well.
