- I'm back and I'm building Beskar Armor from The Mandalorian.
It'll be made entirely out of foam. In this video I build the helmet and test out some paint on it. It wont be 100% show accurate but it's coming along pretty well. Enjoy - Stealth

I didn't know you could sand Kwick Seal with sandpaper!
You can with 1000 grit. Just don’t over do it. It could scrape off. Seems fine with that grit though. It’s never happened so far. It was my only concern.

Beginner here, how do you measure out the helmet to have it fit on you?
Ive made 2 so far and its always a little too big
You probably should try adjusting the size a bit, maybe have a friend place the template on you to see if it fits on you

What made you come up with floor polish?
What is the adhesive that your are using? I thought that you were still using hot glue.
How are you liking your paint setup as compared to spray cans.

I saw Evil Ted use it years ago to as a clear coat. Never tried it until now. I use contact cement. The booth I built is great. Fan is super powerful. I don’t even need a mask.
Is it a specific brand of contact cement, and where did you get it?
I'm hoping to redo my facehugger, as the scaling was slightly too big.
It’s barge brand. Go to Tandy leather. They carry it. You can pay at the door at pick up. Get some thinner for it too.

I'm finding that the hot glue is not so friendly.
I switched to contact cement years ago. It’ll change your life. Watch my in depth tutorial I mentioned in here. It’ll show you how to use it with foam.

Yeah. Once I have a good routine going in my new shop, I’ll do some gundam builds as well. I always enjoyed those doing those. They allow me to be creative in other ways but similar.

I bought some synthetic leather to make some quick belts and use for other details and stuff. I’ll probably make the pistol. I liked that the most from the show. Not gonna go too crazy with this build. It’s just a quick build to test the foam files. 👍🏻

The concept can work. Give it a try. I used to build in cardboard with these same type of files.

This is the best Mando helmet that i've seen by far. All of the others are too short and or rounded.
Been here since you told us to mix the PVA Glue and Water till it's a milk-like consistency. Then you proceeded to drink it 😂

I am always amazed how the seam lines disappear. I still can't make any of the few things I have made seamless like that.
Watch the tutorial I mentioned at the beginning and end and it'll show you how to reduce them.

Hello, I've been trying to turn this into a PDF so I can size it for my son in Pepakura. Can you help me please?
Why are you turning it into a PDF if the PDO file is designed for pepakura designer? This doesn't make sense. There's nothing to help you with. You clearly don't want to follow the basic instructions.

That project is long done BUT....I will do a tutorial for the ODST helmet eventually. It wouldn’t take too long to do as I’ve built that helmet like 3 times already. It’s in my DNA at this point. 😎

My advice if making out of cardboard is to go over with fibreglass sheets and resin, will harden it as well as water proof it

@@Heroesworkshop about 10 years ago a work friend of mine who was an amazing leather worker started doing cos play and agreed to do a G.O.W. outfit for me but had an accident and cut through his tendons and had to give up his hobby and job ,i was so gutted for him because he was like you ,an amazing creator

Gotta question for you: Do you know if there are any Black Panther suit pepakura files? I've seen plenty for the helmet, but none for the suit/armor itself. We love ya man, keep up the good work 😁👌!!!
I doubt you’ll see black panther. It’s just a fitted suit really. Sorry man. Haven’t seen any. You’ll need a spandex suit or something with a pattern on it I think.
