- Hey guys! In today's video, I'll be sharing my thoughts and review on my (mostly) blind buy fragrance haul! I got a mix of perfumes, ranging from terrible to amazing 😅. Among the gems, I may have found a fragrance far better than Replica's By the Fireplace, a beautiful freshie, the best dupe to Baccarat Rouge 540, and the best celebrity scent. 😁

I love how honest you are about the performance, it's something that really matters to me with scents and a lot of youtubers can gloss over those details about how it actually wears, so I really appreciate knowing this kind of info (appreciate everyone's experience varies blah blah). Fancy took me by surprise too. So much I bought fancy nights and I fancy you. They are all completely different. Fancy is often a bedtime scent for me. Love the giveaway of decants. Lots of fun!

Fancy was my signature scent for years before I became a fragrance addict lol. I mix it with VS vanilla body lotion and spray. Sooooo good girl ❤️
I just finished smelling the sample box of replica perfumes and I was super excited for bubble bath, beach walk and intrigued to smell by the fireplace but my first impression of Coffee Break? Oh my gosh. Soooo good. Didn’t expect to like that one but I’m gonna buy it asap lol

Yay! So glad you like MG Intense!!!! Coffee Break too is amazing. I tend to get decent performance spraying on skin and clothes. I would say I spray like 5 sprays appx. But I do used scent free lotion so I am not sure if that helps?

Replica scents seem to last forever on me though, I normally get 8+ hours out of by the fireplace but I’m curious to try Coffee Break!

Fancy was my mom’s signature scent, and I’m so glad people are rediscovering it. I’ll always have it in my collection even though it makes me a little sad when I smell it now. Great haul, just love all the cozy scents you always show!! I have said it before but m . Micallefs house is one of my favs, I have 3 from that house and note vanille is def the next fragrance I am gonna pick up, next to amethyst haze, that one is number one of list to pick up. It’s actually suppose to snow today and all I could think about was damn I wish I had amethyst haze to wear today!! Lol!! I have fancy and yes it really is a pretty scent, also I actually just picked up a dupe for baccarat as well (Al harmain amber oud rouge) and I love it, but now I want to try the one you talked about!! That bottle is over the top gorgeous!! Lol!!💕

I'm so surprised that you like Fancy AT ALL! I personally love it, too, but all I get is a sharp caramel scent in a juvenile but projecting way. I wish SO badly that the Replica line lasted longer because their scents are truly unique and nostalgic!

Oooh I’m so curious about the orientica! I’ve tried another dupe called Sweven and it was good at first but then yeah bandaids started creeping in and it’s all I could smell.

OMG! I had this same problem with BR540. I am soooo sad because I have finally decided it has to go back and I have the HUGE bottle! I tried many times and I cannot smell BR on me at all! I have Orientica as well and it lasts all day and I can smell it for days on my clothes! Awesome dupe!!

I recently picked up fancy and I’m in love!
Coffee Break is one of my favorites, I've definitely had a much better experience with the lasting power than you did. 3 sprays will last me several hours if not the majority of the day. Also if you find the lasting power just isn't good enough but you love the scent, I'm pretty sure you can find dupes from Dossier and Alt Fragrances
I love Orientica Amber Rouge. Bought it a few months ago based on your recommendation and am so pleased 🤩 Definite weird spearmint and tire shop opening but that goes away after about 5min. BR540 disappears on me too. Total anosmia.
Edit: now I must compare Orientica AR with Al Haramain Amber Rouge.
How does the Orientica compare to the Al Haramain in this BR540 clone war?

Spot on with the MM Coffee break. Beautiful scent, creamy, a touch of coffee - this is my night time/bed scent. I also LOVE to layer this with a lot of other scents bc the performance sucks! Also I am obsessed with Clean reserve Skin, but performance :( have the big bottle and drown myself in it too

Great video! Happy you found your replacement scent after a long search. I’ve been trying to find something close to Chopard Casmir for so many years. I find others I like along the way but nothing quite like it. You know how that perfect scent makes you feel and you miss that in your life!
Just buy Chopard Casmir again then....its really inexpensive. 🤦♀️😂

Glad to know Fancy is similar to Note Vanillée bc it is near damn impossible to find now and at least I already like Fancy (I was sure you'd hate it lol). And when it comes to Mon Guerlain Intense it's a bit the contrary for me. Intense is more a signature scent that I wear outside and I wear the original one at home when I want to feel cozy.
Also, I really appreciate the fact that you properly sample fragrances as much as possible; I wish other RUclipsr would do this more. While I feel like my tastes are basic, I don't like/love a lot of the fragrances that I try lol. Kinda curious about the ones you've tried and didn't quite make the cut.
If you like Fancy you'll LOVE Note Vanillee! It's coming out in March again! 😍I'm thinking of filming a "Rapid Reviews" type of video, there are sooo many fragrances that I've tried that people want to hear my thoughts on, I feel like this might be a good idea to get it out there!

Margiela Coffee Break is an all time fave for me and ppl have complimented me on (including my bf and he legit never says anything abt my scents). So fresh and creamy, not too dense or sweet. I actually do get the coffee in the opening mainly. BUT i 1000% agree the performance is so unfortunate 😭. I usually layer it it w powerhouses (Van Cleef Bois Doré, Kayali Vanilla 28).
Also, Micallef needs to have some sort of collab w you, im manifesting that for you this year hahah. You intrigued me so much abt Note Vanillée & Gaiac! If i end up getting either, my wallet blames you 😝. As for celeb scents...

This is such a unique and amazing giveaway, I would LOVE to be entered! I recently purchased YSL Libre intense but I have always wanted to try Mon Guerlain. I have never smelled it before so I wonder if they smell similar or if they’re different enough for me to buy both. Also, I totally agree about your opinion on By the Fireplace, it smells like an AMAZING candle smell, so I’m going to look into your alternative.

I’ve been studying in Netherlands since 2 years ago and I think dutch are very well dressed, beautiful and clean looking but i have no idea what you are referring to as how a dutch person smells :D I have to get my nose on that perfume now, I’m super curious. Love your content. I totally agree with you on not buying fragrance blindly. I try samples alot. Lets say if tried 8 samples I like only 1 fragrance worthy of buying a big bottle. Whats the point of having so many bottles of perfume which you don't 100% in love with.
