@@Persolaise actually, after wearing it for a few weeks, I don’t like it. It’s got a strange after smell to it. It’s not nice at all. I don’t think tante Gabriel would approve to be honest. She would be horrified lol
Hi Persolais! Chipping in to say that Chloe Naturelle smells of mimosa more than rose to me. And I’m reminded of Iris Perle from Les Indemodables a lot!
Thank you so much for this!! I loved being able to dabble in the original format - if only for a moment! This was great fun, and finished with a lovely classic-gem touch!
I hate that Chloe absolu has been discontinued since was my daily go to and I also enjoyed spraying on my pillow. Naturelle is also beautiful from the one spray I’ve tested of it but I don’t get rose certainly not the rose in absolu or rose tangerine but floral with ‘zingy ness ‘. Very much still the clean floral laundry dry down that’s signature to the main chloe perfume line
I have 100 ml of Derby in the listerine bottle before the listerine bottle was as ubiquitous as it is now. Derby is like gold man mixed with jean patou pour homme if you will. All those notes seem heavy but when you smell it its light and airy.. it isnt strictly a winter scent. I wear it all year round. I love these "vintage" episodes btw. On a side note, Jean Paul Guerlain started working on coriolan and derby at the same time. I am in the minority as i love coriolan and have 2 bottles of the vintage gunpowder pouch bottles one of the coolest bottles ever. JPG is one of my favorite perfumers of all time. Its sad two of his best works imo fell on deaf ears in derby and coriolan. Oh well.. at least us afficionados get to enjoy them. Cheers 🍻 -Ramsey
Persolaise Sir, lovely & entertaining video. Especially enjoyed the appreciation of Derby. Did you know current version of Dior Jules (available on Dior website US, I don’t know bout the UK) is very similar to Derby. Looking forward to your future mentioned Guerlain video.
The live must have been a blast. Rodeo go Roux was one of the creators of Vacation? It’s go to be good. I’m extraordinarily biased towards him since your interview. Looking forward to blotter updates Re:Chloe. Wise and wonderful (a la James Herriot) video. Thank you!
If I were to find out they were murdering elephants or something to make a perfume, then yes I would not buy it. But generally speaking if I like a fragrance I don’t tend to care if it’s green/vegan or not. It’s not the first factor I consider. Another great video!
I love Chloe Naturelle. I agree with Cicely that I smell mimosa more than rose. This lasts all day on me, I love to sleep in it and wake up to it. Interestingly, my husband and son cannot smell it on me, nor can apparently anyone else. And I've asked.
Derby is no longer be sold, even in the wooden bottle reformulation. Quite sad. Great perfume. I wouldn't be surprised if it is brought back at some point.
Thought I’d share a tidbit.. The brainchild of Chloe, Gabrielle, is my husband’s great aunt, and my mother-in-law’s cousin.. she was a lovely lady and very family orientated. 😍
I enjoy the long form videos but maybe I have too much time on my hands, haha! Nice to hear your thoughts on a Dusita, I recently tried Erawan and was impressed.
A perfume company having an environmental conscience is not something I consider when making a purchase. If they are vegan, it can be a detriment to making a purchase, because ambergris is one of my favorite perfume ingredients. Please do as many of this type of video as you feel comfortable doing.
It's a crying shame you've not tested Dusita properly yet! Her perfumes are fantastic! Anyone with a good nose and a good taste (haha) would appreciate them!
For me if a fragrance or fragrance company is contradicting with the ethical standards I've set for myself it can really be a dealbreaker for me. On the other hand, if a brand is particulary 'green' or makes enviromental efforts isn't gonna convince me to buy a fragrance I dislike or do not like a lot although I'm glad if I can find a perfume from a brand that makes environmental efforts etc. I am from the Gen z
Hi, could you please recommend me a perfume that smells similar to the reviewed Chloe naturelle, so clean, fresh, natural, youthful, uplifting but actually lasts a bit longer than 5 seconds!? Thank you 😊 🙏🏼
Tried Chloe Rose naturelle with high expectations and I don’t know what is this, baby pickled cucumbers dusted into baby butt poudre topped with schlag, quell horror 😳😳😳
I bought the Chloe Eau Naturelle today and I absolutely love the aquatic ozonic and Dewiness elements to this fragrance.
Good to know, thank you.

Ah, interesting. I confess I mainly get rose, but you're not alone with your mimosa 'reading'.
I really liked this format today. I would also love a top 10 on sophisticated fragrances
Good to know, Lia. Thank you.
I like the format. More classics please.
Great, thank you very much.

Very kind, thank you. And thanks for watching.

Discontinuations are always upsetting.
Thanks for watching.

Thanks for writing, Ramsey.
I love your connection with Gold Man and Patou Pour Homme.
And yes, I enjoy Coriolan too.

No, I didn't know that about Jules, and I'm intrigued, because I don't remember them being similar at all.
Thanks for watching.
I love Dusita. Would love to see you review more of them along with the newest from Serge ❤️
Thank you, I'll see what I can do.

Wise and wonderful (a la James Herriot) video.
Thank you!
Thank you so much for watching, as always. I certainly enjoyed the broadcast :-) But then I always enjoy interacting with you all.

Thanks very much -- and yes, it's a complicated, personal issue.

Fingers crossed, it'll come back.

"Sublime" was just the word that came to me about the modern Derby - such a great fragrance
It's really special, isn't it.

Oh my goodness - amazing.
Thanks for watching.

Ah yes, I need to re-smell that one.
Thanks for watching.

Thanks very much indeed, Keith.

I’ll need to revisit them soon.
Thank you for watching.

I’m sure many people feel the same way.
Thanks for taking the time to write.
Tragic to hear about withdrawal of several of my favourite brands from the UK. However, I can’t say I exactly blame them.
No, I don’t blame them either.
Thanks for watching.
I ordered a discovery set from Dusita last year. I was surprised to find none that were agreeable to my nose. 🥴😔
Oh, that’s a shame. But at least you tried them.
I'm watching the replay. Just discovered you.
I hope you enjoy the other videos. Thanks for watching.
Do you announce your RUclips Livestreams in advance, Persolaise? We don't want to miss them.
I try to give as much notice as possible in the Community section and on Instagram.
Thanks for watching.
I didn’t know anything about the ECO aspect to it when I bought it. I just bought it because I liked it. 😅
Excellent.
What a bizarre time for this release. I mean...were heading into Fall and Winter now, not Spring and Summer.
True. I'm not sure exactly when it was released, though. It may be that the UK market got it a bit late.
Thanks very much for watching.

Thanks for watching. I'll see if I can think of something.
Enjoy this style of video. Always interested in your views on new releases.
Thanks very much indeed -- good to know.
Good morning🌼
Thanks for watching.

Thanks for watching.
I’m in Texas 🇺🇸
Thanks for watching.
Haha Burger King 👑 KFC 😅👏👏👏👏👏👏😂

Oh dear! Well, at least you tried it.
