you had me at the title but the way you subtitle is amazing and I love it
“These are my disposables; exposition and comic relief”
“We’re not functions”
“Darling those are genders”
Absolutely my favourite exchange of hers. She had so much charisma.
Missy should be careful what she does around the doctor or she'll have to deal with river song
Poké man I think it would be a battle of titans and it's impossible to say who would be the winner. It would be too much, I actually don't wanna watch it because that would ruin the bet, I mean, at least I can't choose a side.
@@AleLibRiv I've got to say that I would be putting my money on Missy. Superior in every way in a fight to the death.
Based only on what we've seen so far. What do you think?
There’s a Big Finish audio with them both in! I think Missy is a little more conniving than River and seems to be one step ahead most of the time but in one of her earlier incarnations they’re pretty evenly matched.
@@SevenofSevensProd that's amazing! Somehow, I could see them being friends.
I really wish Missy would have gotten her own show. I would love to see you why she's up to when not around the Doctor.
I'm more interested in how they're going to bring the master back. I wouldn't think they could just bring the character back and have it be business as usual.
Plus, I would hope that they do something more creative than saying Missy was the last incarnation, and that the John Simm virgin regenerated several times before getting there.
River can't do anything to a dead woman
11:02 this is a mood, one that I reciprocate every day
Now more than ever
I think about this bit all too often
Missy: Hey Doctor.
River: Get Away From Him...
NOW!!!
I’ve watched this video like 4 times and I always just die when she screeches DOCTOR CHANGGGGG. I can’t. It’s just too funny, and the edit makes it so much funnier. It properly just makes me laugh
oh look me from 2 years ago who'd have thought i'd still be here
Missy was my favorite part of the Peter Capaldi years. I was very upset that she never got to be his companion, even if only for a little while.
4:25 The best part of it is that it was Gomez fecking up with scene xD - and they still included it.
She messed up?
I can't unsee her as the saxon master in a costume.
Haha! Definitely have to keep that in mind for next time I rewatch Twelve.
i have a request. can you do a supercut of river song lying? preferably in her chronological order. i just love all those moments where she pretends not to know people, like her own parents
That'd be fun. I'd watch it
I love River. Brilliant character development.
5:28 oh my god the little dance 😂
3:07 This show is so good I didn’t notice until JUST NOW that the lift door in the background has a cyber man eye symbol on it!
Man I fell in love with Missy almost immediately 😍 she’s my secret favorite don’t tell the others 😉
Missy is like the opposite Mary Poppins
Practically evil in every way
Missy Poppins
Heh
the only way i want to die is if missy steps on my face and grounds me into the earth
This is also my preferred method of execution 😂
What a pair!
I-
She’s damn hilarious.
Such a lovable lunatic.
Knock yourself out.
Your wish is my command.
Love it.
She's just...completely batty and I adore her. Ugh that reveal. "Short for Mistress" The scream I scrumpt when I first saw that.
Missy: "Well...I couldn't very well keep calling myself 'The Master,' now could I?"
My brain: *[thu-thu-thu-THUMP, thu-thu-thu-THUMP, thu-thu-thu-THUMP, thu-thu-thu-THUMP...]*
I really love this. It highlights how bonkers and damn genius she is.
The joke she makes about Derilium, then very compassionately gives her condolences.
She is soooooo endearing.
"Nooo...ahm not gooood."
I would have loved to have seen missy and a human pet traveling through time and being savage to evil aliens. Maybe a run in with River.
the actress that played missy couldnt have been any better at it to be honest.
2:00 that face has me in stitches, hell this whole scene does
The vid: Missy being iconic
Me: ....sooooo basically EVERY minute she is in Dr. Who?
One of my favourite moments might be when she discovers Rivers fate at derillium, it seems like such an honest moment of genuine sadness and sympathy, hard to get from Missy/ The Master.
Omg I haven't watched series 8 in so long I forgot about "Doctor Chang!" 😂😂 My 9 year old self thought that line was the funniest thing in the universe 😂😂
1:29
Doctor: but dont check my history
Also "your welcome droid has developed a fault" is that a reference to handles
What cemented her for me as one of my all time favorite characters is this scene:
Doctor-"Who are you?"
Missy-"You know who I am.....I'm Missy."
Doctor-"Who's Missy?"
Missy-"uhhhhh, please try to keep up. It's short for Mistress. Well, I couldn't keep calling myself The Master now, could I?"
The speech, the mannerisms, the look, it had a touch of all the old Masters in there, but with her own little twist on the role to make her Missy, our very own psychotic Mary Poppins of a timelord :)
“I was just a bit sleepy. Alright? Let’s not split hairs” an icon 🤣👏🏼
The left out one of the best - where she apologizes for the scotsman yelling in the streets like he's some crazed sports fan.
I'm sorry was I was I boring you????
Best line yet
i hope someone does a loop of 1 hour about "my heart is manatined by the doctor" "doctor who?" "DOCTOR CHANG"
She is just like her character in the chilling adventures of Sabrina
Elaijo lol so true!
Even in the second season of GOTHAM she still seems the same
Is it just me or did Moffat absolutely nail it making The Master into a woman much better than Chibnal making The Doctor into a woman?
Yes
Ross Maclellan Not just you. Missy is brilliant in every way.
Missy is brilliant. Best part of it is that she's actually as smart or smarter than the Doctor.
Not just you
Yep! Hence why I say the gender swap is not the issue here. But Missy had good writing, an awesome Doctor opposite her, and unlike Whittaker Michelle Gomez can ACT.
0:49
*Moffat when he would choose who to kill next*
Honestly, my biggest problem with the show was Moffat and his apparent need to have a constant body count and kill off characters non stop.
Michelle Gomez is criminally underrated
Missy is my favourite regen of the Master, and I've lived through all of them.
R.I.P Missy, one of the best characters in Doctor Who (in my opinion)
2:08 Missy winks at Twelve for half a second. That is brilliant.
The BEST thing that came out of Peter Capaldi's Doctor series!
As cool as the “shooting myself in that back” was UGHHHHHHHH it was so amazing but also so sad because missy was my absolute incarnation of the master and the fact after all of classic who and the reboot it took all this time for the master to finally stand with the doctor and that to happen was such irony. Beautifully done BUT yet I’m also still salty because for me Missy couldn’t gone for seasons and I wish she could’ve been a companion for at least a season
“Doctor who?” -> "DOCTOR CHANG" still one of my fav moments lmfao shes so good
One of my fav characters by far.
Is it strange that I can't help but absolutely adore her?
Strange?? Not at all, perfectly normal.
8:26
Perfection
I love Missy, she's my favourite incarnation of the Master. If Michelle Gomez was cast after Capaldi I'd honestly want to see what she could have offered to the role of the Doctor. I think she would have been brilliant.
Last time I was this early christopher was still doctor
me too
Last time I was this early Peter was still the doctor.
Peter Davison, that is.
Last time I was this early; Doctor Who was still on Netflix.
@@evildeathcuddles886 My favorite Doctor!
@@basedbattledroid3507 it is on netflix
Missy is, was and will forever be the best Master.
Doctor: “I presume you have stairs.”
Missy: “well, I’m not a Dalek.”
Me: Rolling on the ground in laughter.
'...and all that was left was a *Scottish accent activates* wee gal. And I just pooshed her into a volcano.' I died
12:42 « 😂 lol I’m dying 😂 »
2:18 when i watched this episode for the first time , i freaked out listening to Dr. Chang's voice as his voice very much matches to the 10th doctor.
