Even better, Daleks are not programmed to say mercy at all, so it's one hell of a thing she did
And the Dalek’s like ‘oh shit’ because this is the woman who killed the Dalek’s apex predator.
And then later when Amy asks "Where's the Dalek?" and River deadpans "It died." 😂😂
"oh turn it off im breaking in not out" immediately turns off the alarms like oh ok carry on
1:20 that relatable moment when your future/past/present wife tells you that apparently you weren’t the one to teach her to fly the bigger-on-the-inside space/time machine that only your dead species knows how to fly, and is the only one of its kind now and secretly has a consciousness that you’ll be connected with long before and after she’s gone.
(TM)
i think its funnier when you realize the tardis herself taught river how to drive, and the doctor was busy because he was dying
This comment deserves a like just for its first line :D
@@finallyimginger3223 ooooh that’s a cool headcannon
@@finallyimginger3223 that name is hilarious
@@finallyimginger3223 I mean, she would qualify as the very best
2:43
I know the flirty meaning of this line, but also...
It does always end that way.
and the doctor knew 🥲
"Oh I had lessons from the very best. It's a shame you were busy that day." Did anyone else go, "dying" or am I alone on that? 🤣
I couldn't stop laughing.
It was still the Doctor. just not 11
@@LevonBlueoak it was 11! He was literally dying because she'd poisoned him so the tardis had to show River how to fly her to save Rory and Amy.
@@crazydisney91 that makes sense. The TARDIS would be the best at flying herself
"It's a screwdriver it's for building cabinets." 7:25 did I just see it kill that Silence.
I think that was from the what are they called
Not on its own, it just redirected the energy from the Silence back at it
OMG YES THIS IS GOING STRAIGHT ON MY RIVER SONG PLAYLIST
LADIES GENTS AND NON BINARY MISERIES ITS MY FAVOURITE SIBLING, THE BEAN NEXT DOOR
@@trixanicon8454 NEXT DOOR BEAN HELLO
She acted the maturity levels perfectly! I could tell when she was young vs. mature River just by the way she carried herself and the look in her eyes.
4:08 the amazing unspoken plan forming between the two. Perfection
Mother and daughter solidarity
It's like they're related
"I think I might take the age down just gradually, to freak people out"
Rory : What kind of Doctor are you?
River : Archaeology ...
...as she shoots a Silence she cannot see, and so *cannot* remember exists ... simply because her father looks frightened ....
1:18 I’ll never get over how timey wimey and perfect this line is. He was only busy because he was dying because of her.
Alex Kingston is a queen all on her own, but put her in the role of Doctor Who and she becomes a whole new level of QUEEN. Legit my favorite character in my modern day television.
"How did you do that?"
"Disgracefully." I freaking love her!
The dalek scene is my favorite. Alex perfectly transitions her demeanor from when she casually says "I'm River Song." to threatening when she says "Check your records again!" Well writen and well acted.
7:45 I love how the alarm actually turns off after she uses the phone.
River Song is definitely my favourite Doctor Who character even after rewatching the show 3 times. She is an ICON
SHE IS SUCH AN ICON! Im so sad she is gone forever now. 😢
Yeah. But she can always return for her previous adventures.
@@liesmazarina7578 That is true but it wont be the same.
not quite, her spirit is still in the library, with her doctor
she's never really gone, after all she and the doctor did run all over time and space.
I fell in love with river song when I was first saw her episodes as a kid and I'm still in love with her, she's ✨everything✨
ya know, he seems to take offense to how river treats her other husbands but i think it speaks out all the more to how special he is to her that she goes from being the one blatantly in charge to lying that it was him doing the right things and acting like a giddy schoolgirl and getting flustered when hes there
"hush now mommy and daddy are talking"
*well-*
Wait, where's the part where River outsmarts The Doctor's outsmarting of her outsmarting of his outsmarting of her outsmarting of his outsmarting of her outsmarting of his outsmarting of her outsmarting by kissing/poisoning him after he denies all of her other methods to kill him
That part is so funny 😂 “is killing you going to take all day?”
The goddamn banana
Its in Lets Kill Hitler but yes that was an awesome scene which shld hv been included
It must have been hard for River Song to have to pretend not to know that Amy and Rory were her parents.
There are many love interests for the doctor but none of them, yes, not even the Master, can hold a candle to River Song.
I love River song so much!!!! She literally treats her prison as a hotel, she constantly shoots his hats, and she's just an overall chaotic flirt! The absolute best!!!
River Song has to be one of the best story arcs in Doctor Who
"You are an associate of the doctor, you will show mercy"
"I'm river song, check again."
"....mercy?"
we never got to see what the waste product of a darlek is.
says mercy thinking "almighty davros save me"
11:33, the face he makes when he realises she's taken the TARDIS without him knowing before. Also dropping the hint that now he knows 😂
“I hate you sometimes!”
“Oh, I know!!”
THATS OKAY I DIDN’T NEED MY HEART ANYWAY
2:30
now that’s the correct response
Literally never clicked on a video so fast on my life
Her being the only thing to make a Dalek beg for mercy is perfection
One of the only three time lords who can make a dalek say "mercy"
Rivera was a wonderful character and the chemistry between her and all the doctors works so well.
But I love the actress in all she’s done.
Moll Flanders’s was excellent as was ER.
(Not enough screen time in discovery of witches).
Beautiful lady.
Her background/upbringing made me super sad... but her adulthood and the path she chose gave me so much hope :)
"I point and laugh at archeologists” cue the eleventh doctor pointing and laughing and baby river song
I love all the hints they give that 11 is on his final regeneration and never tells anyone.
she was able to shoot backwards and kill a silence without remembering it was there purely because she saw her dad was afraid of something behind her and that was enough to make her shoot whatever it was and not even check
One of my favorites is when she is talking to Clara and the look she gives when Clara says the doctor talks about her but didn't realize she was a woman
“I hate you sometimes”
“I know!”
“Oh I hate you”
“No you don’t”
i would literally die for her
She's one of the best written characters ever
Doctor, "Shout if you get in trouble..."
River ,"Don't worry I'm quite the screamer..."
"Now there's a spoiler for you"
THE KING HAS RETURNED 👏👏
River: Who are you?
Thirteen: I'm... Dr. Jane Smith.
River: You remind me of my husband for some reason.
Thirteen: *choking back tears* Yeah wow that's very interesting!
Well, due to the backwards manner of their relationship, River would not recognize the Doctor. Remember, she didn't realize who 12 was for a while.
@@LevonBlueoak yeah that's why I wrote it like that
Do they interact?
I'm surprised you didn't have: River: I AM his wife! Amy: Yes! And I'm his --- mother-in-law.
4:00 "Fezzes are cool" mother and daughter in sync. EXECUTE ORDER 66!
When Amy said "Ooh Doctor you soniced her" IM DEAD💀
A perfect character seriously
6:52
Once again, she wins that tiktok challenge
The return of the king.
God I love River so much she is a goddess and a queen
I love it how the first episode we saw river was “silence in the library” then the last time was “the husbands of river song” and in her timeline the library was after her night at the singing towers of derullium
4:09 The Husbands of River Song really should've ended with Twelve saying "I've been meaning to mention dear....you owe me a new fez..."
River. The only woman in the universe who can make a Dalek beg for mercy.
