Lovely! I got mine a couple of months ago and I'm really enjoying the rides that this puppy has given me. nice demo too by the way
That bend @7:44 was AWESOME! As was the rest of the demo. Cheers!
Thanks man, letting a bit of the John Sykes influence seep out there
That dual delay sounded awesome.
Like special sauce for solos!
Perfect concise demo.Just bought one. Thanks
Enjoy!
Great video. I've just really started to experiment with delay. Loved the sound of this.
My favourite effect aside from distortion. So fun
Awesome demo. I have to say, this is one of the best delay pedals I've heard and your guitar playing is fantastic! I think you might like the line 6 echo park too. I can get similar pad sounds in swell mode, and the tape delay is great. I like the drum echo on this and the wild oscillation sounds.
I'm kinda torn between dialing in sounds so I sound kickass and actually playing (learning/practicing). I start noodling around and almost instantly, the sounds I dialed in yesterday just don't fit today 😂.
Sounds gorgeous! How does it compare to the strymon Dig? What will you pick up?
Sounds great brother! At 2:22 I thought you were about to play Heading Out to the Highway!
Great pedal, and very nice guitar with the 70's headstock!
🤘🍺
That's nice Brother! Nice pedal, Well done and thanks for sharing Leon! Be Well!
Crikey. That's hot.
Hey - what was the 'amp' you were running in the "filthy" portion of the program? @6:30? That was wicked.
Axe-Fx for all the "amp" tones.
Is this glorious mancave of guitar gear in your home or in a garage built to house your happiness ? I would love to have a space this large loaded with gear to spend my time in making the happy noise !
It's a public display of my addiction
Right at the end the pad echo started sounding like it was trying to talk
THATS SWEET BRO !!! CHEERS FROM MONTANA!!!LOVE IT WITH THE FILTH!!!!!
So filthy
Leon...dual delay algorithm quality of the DD200 is comparable with that of the Strymon timeline ? Thanks
Hi Leon, I just got this pedal, I was attracted mostly by the possibility to store presets just like in a multieffect processor... But.... Now I've noticed that I can recall the settings via midi, but not the dalay type.
Am I wrong? Daes it make any sense?
Awesome tones! Where can i get your presets?
So the the last two (dual delay and pad echo) were the only ones that were in the loop or post distortion, correct? This is another pedal I purchased as a result of your original demo.
Correct. How are you enjoying it?
Nice playing as always Leon! My personal fav is the dual delay--it creates the right amount of ambience/delay and tracks the single note stuff really well without muddying or washing out with full of distortion! Cheers from Florida!
That dirty chug IS filthy
F I L T H
Sounds good. Why does your guitar neck look scalloped?
It is scalloped
Hey Leon you use in front of a dirty amp not in the loop?? Still sound amazing to me
Loop
@@LeonTodd thx
Hey, which mode are you using at 6:40 mins? Is that the Lofi mode? Thanks in advance
Dual delay
Are different types of delays similar to the full-sized pedals? I mean do you get the complete functionality of a (for example) tera echo pedal with this DD-200? Thanks in advance for helping me out, I am a bit confused.
Yes, a lot of modes don't exist in full sized pedals from the Boss brand at least. Most modes have even more functionality than the pedal they are imitating. Having said that nothing beats a real analog delay or tape delay.
How would you compare this to tc flashback 2? I have the flashback but every demo I’ve heard of these boss delays have just blown me completely away. It just sound super clean and incredible there’s something about this pedal that I just love. I mean it blows mine away from what I’ve heard on RUclips anyway
Haven't tried the FB2 but I owned the x4 for a while and enjoyed it. Tone print is cool but I mostly used the mood delay mode. Wasn't a huge fan of the tc for tape or analog style sounds.
Leon Todd yeah the analog is super dark which can be good in certain circumstances but it’s almost on the muddy side but yeah to get the most out of it you gotta use the TonePrints they’ve got some really good toneprints on there for memory man delay sounds and echorec and all kinds of old delays
I have seen may videos about DD200 and DD500 and nobody talks about changing delays or changing presets, I want to know what happen if you play with one nice ambient shimmering sweet long delay and you need to change to another patch or presser or change your memory bank to another one either pressing the switch or via MIDI. Does your last ambient shimmering sweet long delay still there until vanish with the delay decay and mix your sound with the new patch, or that delay cuts abruptly off and is replaced with the new delay??
I guess it is called carryover.
You can turn on and off the carry-over function in the settings.
That thing is killer..
Has anyone had problems using a FS-6 to control the twist and warp modes? I have it set per the manual but the effects won’t turn off when the momentary switches are disabled
Do you know if it is possible to use two simultaneus Delays with DD200 ?
One mode at a time, not the tape, dual and bin drum echo will give you multiple different times repeats if needed.
LET'S HEAR IT WITH SOME FILTH
Is this capable of doing Circular delays like the DD500?
That's the million dollar question! The pattern delay might get close but you don't have the ability to fine tune the individual delays like on the 500
@@LeonTodd do an A/B for us!
Can't imagine playing moon river at the next television function, with all of the duh duh duh and distortion, it seems to be so over the top but thanks anyway 😁👍
needs more distortion to obliterate the sound completely. why not just use static from a radio
First like!
