    Q:What camera do you use?
    A: I use the Go Pro Hero 7 Black Edition primarily. Often times you will see auxillary cameras in use. Those cameras include The Go Pro Hero 6, Hero, and DJI Mavic Pro Platinum
    Q: How big Is your rotator?
    A: It is a 50 ton Miller Industries Vulcan 950
    Q: Does the carriage slide back like Ron Pratt's?
    A: No, the carriage doesn't slide back due to strict weight laws in California. The sliding carriage will make the truck to heavy in CA
    Q: Why do you only have 3 winches on the rotator?
    A: Comes down to weight again as stated above
    Q: How many trucks Does Plaza Towing have?
    A: Currently more than 30
    Q: Why must the driveshaft be removed to tow a vehicle?
    A: When vehicles are not running the transmission is not receiving circulating lubricant. If the driveshaft is left installed, the transmission, which is not receiving lubricant, is still spinning. This allows it to get very hot which eventually will cause major damage to the transmission. Therefore, removing the driveshaft completely eliminates the transmission from spinning. Simply leaving it in neutral is not sufficient since the transmission still spins in neutral.

      Depends if it was the golf course who had the equipment, or if that was a different company, If it was the golf course that owned the equipment i'd tell em to deal with it or find someone else, If it was a different company you have to bite the bullet to be permitted to use the golf course property to do the recovery otherwise you have no way of recovering it for the customer who did nothing to deserve being left in the dust.

      I was kinda wondering that to. I used to run heavy equipment . Loader rollers happen from time to time. We always used the equipment on site to up right it. Nice recovery but could have been done quicker and cheaper with the equipment that was already on site.

    • @chris76-01
      @chris76-01 3 года назад +2

      Probably because they don't know how to do it. Or because they don't have all the fancy rigging equipment needed.

  • @rdamirault
    @rdamirault 3 года назад +18

    the worst thing you can say to a recovery mission is how long it will take. I would get so pissed off if I was asked that. It will take as long as it needs to take to be safe and get the job done right.

    Got to love the Golfer/Course mentality 'Must continue playing regardless!'
    Even with a winch line across the cart track getting ready to pull an expensive bit of machinery over, all they are interested in is getting the golf carts though without a delay!

    Why didnt they use another loader or haul truck to roll it back over an waist money from the numbers looks like it's a rental. But nice job tho guys. Loaders will roll easy when the bucket is high an it's in reverse or forward too. I've had a few scares in our loader at work I was whipping it around tho in the zone getting the truck loaded.
