Thank you for the review. Regarding the charging handle, you do not need the bottom piece when in the P-IX, just make sure the top piece is full on before inserting the firearm in to the P-IX. As for front bolt and accuracy, I think you described the use case scenario and reasons for using and not using it very accurately. We are actively addressing implementing everything you have mentioned that you are not on board with 100%, and we appreciate the support. Thank you ReCover Tactical
I appreciate the feedback. It’s good to know the charging handle works that way. I hadn’t tried it like that. It impressive to see a company actively listening to its community, and taking feedback in to consideration. I’ve always been very impressed with your products. Great work.
Great review! I have the PIX and have my Glock 22 ( 40 cal ) in it. I’m not planning on taking it in and out. It’s staying in the chassis for home defense. The best thing and what you left out…. Is the coolness factor. It looks great, feels great, shoots great… if you don’t have an AR, but you have a particular Glock, this is the way to go!
I think you are specifically the type of person this gun is made for. I’ve seen a lot of hate surrounding it without knowing it’s true purpose. If you have an extra Glock around, and you want to take advantage of a “rifle style” platform this certainly fits the bill
Of all the large chassis systems, I think it's probably the best thought thru. Most seem to lack a lot of basic options whereas this unit has them. Typical Recover Tactical product, it's cool and it works!
I dig the look of that KIDON folder. It actually looks and seems to work better on that Pi. Than it does for the system that it was originally designed for.
The Recover Tactical 20/20 Brace/stock can be used as a true PDW. This looks like total mall ninja kit. I get why they made this and was not for the US market. This was made for countries where owing a rifle is banned and owning a pistol is legal, like Israel.
Have the bolt with a snarled nut ir big wing nut and maybe thread taper at the last thread or too for locking that would be a simple fix like a supressor taper mount
Looks kind of silly but can see it for restrictive areas where getting an AR is difficult I hope they continue further development of the 20/20 instead of this
@@code4defense745 the 20/20 just needs a couple changes 1 make the brace hang lower so it's easier to use iron sights 2 remove the dead space in the front rail that makes attachments hang low This could be done by moving the screw to that notch kinda how most lights are Atacand
The third mag holder is a little silly but it’s cool. In the video it seems like the suppressor is wobbling around a bit, or perhaps the chassis is wobbling around the suppressor
So basically this turns your Glock into a scorpion. With more mags. Cool idea if you already have a Glock. This platform with a g31 or 32 would be a great SBR.
I was interested until about the 5 minute mark. I'm sure that trigger is garbage. I know the Roni isn't the best but I like mine. I was looking to change but not to this. I'm not a fan of bullpups because of the crap trigger. But he did a good job of reviewing this platform.
So I picked up that you claim it is accurate less than 25 yards? So are you saying with a riffle optic it is only accurate for - 25 yards? That's expensive for basically a pistols range.
Thank you so much for the review. It was very informative, educational and significantly help me make my decision on whether to purchase one of these devices. Regarding the Kidon folding stock, you mentioned registering P-IX as an SBR and I was curious how you did that. The P-IX is a non NFA item and doesn't come with a serial number, so did you use the Glock's serial number on the AFT forms when you registered it as an SBR? I appreciate your insight on how to register the P-IX as an SBR because I'd like to do the same thing. KUDOS again on your review!!
You are correct with the registering the Glock serial number. Technically this is the firearm and that is what becomes the SBR. I also appreciate the feedback on the review.
I can see why people would want it, but it doesn’t seem like the type of long gun I would grab if in need. I own a Marlin Camp Carbine in .45 (rare now) however I never use it. If I needed a long gun even in home defense, I would grab my Mini-14 or even a Shotgun. It is neat though. I like Recover Tactical products, I own 1 of everything they have for the 1911 and like their products but I just don’t see the need for this. A nice toy, I suppose.
I agree with you completely. I have one of their other systems and other 9mm options. This seems bulky and just not very much the option I would choose, as it doesn't even add barrel length to justify the increased size.
I have the same thought and after thinking about it I came to the conclusion that it is because of the barrel moving at every shot for cycling (sorry for my bad English)
Id consider this thing nothing more that a range toy. great idea.. poor design / execution. while i never had any functionality or cycling issues, overall there is a lot to be improved on. Mainly the trigger mech. it is god awful. it's comparable to that of a nerf gun. i beefed up the section that meets the glock trigger, installed a stronger spring on the rear. those mods only made it slightly better. the Top rail being sectioned rather than continuous is another issue. it's way too flimsy. i was able to push my red dot to the side with about 1/4" of flex using a single finger. to alieviate this i ran a riser/bridge along the entire top. which must be taken off everytime i wish to remove my pistol. Roni may not look as cool but functionality and construction and the fact that it uses the glocks actual trigger is far more important to me than looks. I'll choose the roni any day over the pix.
I don't see the point. I have a chassis for my glock, which you folks made and sold, that only holds the glock itself. So, why add more unnecessary plastic and bulk and weight? Seems well enough engineered but self defeating. Your 20 20, 20 21 systems do this same job more efficiently. And far more discreetly. Just my 2 cents.
There actually isn’t anything wrong with the barrel. It’s just the barrel tilting in locking block It only looks so drastic from the length of the can.

You can order it without the stock portion. There are no tools needed for a brace. It just uses a standard buffer tube.
The third mag holder is a little silly but it’s cool. In the video it seems like the suppressor is wobbling around a bit, or perhaps the chassis is wobbling around the suppressor
its because the glock is a tilt barrel platform, hence why the suppressor seems like its wobbling. More exaggerated because of the added length
