Curious in your last video when discussing the benefits of the zoom on your trip that you didn’t mention the impact it has on your shooting style. You’ve mentioned before the primes help you see images better when out shooting compared to the zooms, and I’d love to hear you chat about that some more!
Yeah a zoom almost feel cluttered to me whereas a prime is a mindset. I’m stuck with that focal length for better or worse and I end up making better images generally as a result
Amazing. Perfect timing again. The last time I was looking at E-M5 iii or OM-5 - you got OM-5, that was helpful. I got E-M5 III with 12-45mm soon after that for a very good price. (I’m keeping it. There is something about it. In the feel, in the design, in the colors etc. It just brings me joy. I enjoy having MFT mount finally.) My primary camera was X-T3 (never really learned to love it for some reason), I sold it a month ago to get something newer with ClassicNeg, clarity and color chrome FX blue effect. And currently debating getting X-T30 ii. I also would normally get a black camera, but was thinking to make an exception for this one and get silver instead. Would you think the painted silver built-in flash unit on the silver version feels cheaper than the genuine black plastic unit on black version? P.S. Actually, if I had more patience I would wait for the end of May when Fuji possibly announces X-S20 with bigger battery and faster processor. I would much appreciate both and also the IS, but I realize the package will be bigger in size and price then the X-T30 ii. I also never liked the design of X-S10 with that boxy flash unit not matching overall style of the body (my opinion). Let’s see. Appreciate your reviews!
Bought one, returned it. It is not usable because of the placement of the Q button and the Joystick. I have medium/large hands. It makes beautiful pictures and it looks amazing. But everytime I would take a picture through the EVF I would touch the joystick with my thumb, so I had to pinch it. Saving up for a larger Fuji.
I just bought one with the 18-55mm lens for £500, 250 shots on it.. Fun fact, I've not touched a camera in 12 years and have never seen a fujifilm in my life or even watched an unboxing lol. I was like.. Wait it doesnt' have a d-pad? I'm sure i'm going to love it
One more thing. The EF-X8 won't work on the X-T30 II because it does not have the copper connection on the hotshoe, so, you have to use a different lighting option, i.e. Godox TT350F.
Thanks for the video. I bought this camera and was disappointed to find out that it cannot be tethered for live shooting through Capture One, Lightroom, etc. Hoping that I'm wrong though...can you confirm this to be true? Otherwise, I love this camera.

I needed flip screen and my particular camera kept having issues. Ultimately decided a small XT30II + XH2s combo was better. I don’t need 40 megapixels.

Are the silver parts made of metal or is it plastic? I love this color but if it's made of plastic I'm afraid it will get scratched pretty easily :(
