I’ve been wearing a back brace for 4 years now. I wear it EVERY SINGLE DAY, I feel my condition isn’t improving, and now I feel depended on it. I think it’s fine for a few months after injury, but not long term, it can cause muscles to be weaken since they don’t have to work much anymore with the brace.
If you wear a brace it prevents you from bending your back while you pick heavy items up. Bending leads to compression of the vertebrae squeezing the inter cartilaginous spaces between vertebrae that may lead to pinching the nerves. It may also promote keeping your back straight if you had the habit of bending forward too much.
Thank you very much for sharing. I have been suffering from shoulder and waist pain before. Later, my friend introduced me a posture corrector, which successfully relieved my pain and bad posture by physically correcting the incorrect posture. Hope to help more people: amz.run/4npN

I had a terrible experience with my custom fit back brace and would not recommend using a lumbar brace unless suport was really necessary. I was advised to wear this brace post operative of my laminectomy decompression surgery. Wearing this brace covered my incision and made things really sweaty and hot. Because of this, the incision was infected and lined with yellow/green puss. The incision remained open even after the staples were removed and we were told to suture tape the incision close. It took months for the incision to finally scare over. I was sick and in pain for 2.5 year later before receiving my second decompression surgery where they removed thick scar tissue deep into my spine and also shrunk a significantly engorged venous plexus veins and fat that was all contributing to pinching the L5 nerve root. From this experience, I recommend "no" to back braces.

I hear it's even better to have a custom made back brace just for your body. I'm debating about trying to refer my A.S. & reverse Kyphosis! I also have terrible forward head. So bad I can't look up or gargle. I think it may have been caused by Nerve Ablasion gone South! Horrible pain now for almost 1/2 yr. I never had before the N.Ablation. The Dr.s' trying to tell me the N. A. could not have caused this/PAIN as well. I have talked to 2 other people who had cervical/nerve ablation & had the same results I have, MORE PAIN, Constant PAIN!! I am now on strong pain meds I was not on before! I am so angry & do not know what I can do to stop the pain or take action against the doctors. I think we sign away our rights when we 1st. come for this treatment. Not sure. Don't remember what I signed, but I believe the doctors when they said that it could NOT make my pain worse. It just might not help my pain problems. Well, I now have pain in my neck & upper back I never ever had. My head is also stuck so I can't tilt it back anymore. So if I gargle I must sit down & hold my chin so the stuff doesn't come out of my mouth!! It is so bad!! I am so Mad!!!

Hi, do wearing lumbar decompression belt will help to fix mild scoliosis?
There is no good scientific data to support the use of a belt for mild scoliosis.

I am not sure if we are talking the same thing. Lumbar lordosis is a curvature of the back. It is natural to have some lordosis.
@@ShimSpineVideos but sir it's way curvy example: when I sleep on my back my forearm can pass through the gap between the bed and spine
Can this help with really mild scoliosis ? It’s only like 12° so not super bad Sometimes when I stand at work my back hurts and thought this would help.
12 degrees is almost not a curve. A back brace can help you keep your posture, and remind you to consider good lifting mechanics.
Should I buy a back brace to keep my spine inline? My spine is out of Aline and each time I get it fixed it comes out again.
If you back bone is not broken, then it is more of a choice. There is no good scientific data supporting either use or not use. If you think it will help, and you can avoid the brace, go ahead. Just be mindful of the costs.

Many do use lifting belts.
My advice if you're thinking about getting a back brace. Don't buy the cheaply made $20-30 ones off of Amazon, they don't do shit.. Spend the $200-300 on a legit high-quality one that they use at the Chriopractor's office, it matters.

I had a scoliosis surgery ten years ago and now my back hurts almost every day. Should I use a back brace?
I have scoliosis also and yes it helps me I wear it all day so yea if it helps me it might help u
You should probably it would help with back pain
Is this help to improve back posture
yes
Yeah
Thank u for saying if it helps use it
Do i need to wear it the whole day or how many hours a day should i use it?
You need to watch the whole video. Braces may make you feel better, and may warn you to be careful in your body mechanics. There is a concern people wear them too long and get dependent on them, but that is theory more than proven fact.

Thanks 😊
Make sure ya’v got plenty of back, knee & mental support 😤😤😤
I have herinated disc in lumbar. Can I wear lumbar support belt while I lift my son who is 6 kg weight
I see no reason why not.
Thank you so much.
Can i wear a brace like vest to fix my moderate scoliosis?
Unfortunately, only custom very firm braces can prevent progression of scoliosis. Please get it evaluated, and do not spend unnecessary money on a brace that will not help your curve.
Another great upload! Thank you :)
Lollll “it’s your back, it’s your decision, it’s your money”. Basically what I’m hearing is, don’t get the back brace.
Is it just me or he does look like Chinese president Xi Jinping but younger
Love it!
Love it 🥰
should've done some research before spending $40 on a back brace.
Like many medical interventions, they can be costly. I hope the brace helped.
this was a great video
👍👍👍👍👍
Is this the Chinese president??
I learned nothing
I'm honored that Xi Jinping took time out of his busy day to help us with our back pain. Thank you, long live the CCP!! /s
