Im In The Process Of Learning To Screen Print And Had The Question In Mind Of How To Screen Printing Using Multiple Colors And I Want To Just Add That You've Done An Amazing Job In Providing That Information Great Work Thanks A Lot !!! Very Helpful And Much Appreciated !! Thanks Hope To Continue To Be Blessed
How do you align your screens in a way to always make it on the mark. When ever I do multiple shirts by the second go around I can’t see through the screen to line up properly
when screen printing with Vinyl, I assume I am only able to use that print for just the one day? You couldnt reuse the same vinyl after doing a cleanup could you?
Any time you are printing on a press, you want to make sure to have an adhesive on your platen. This holds the shirt/blank in place, so you can lift the screen and it will sit back down in the exact same spot. Here is the pallet adhesive I use: www.pigskinsandpigtails.com/a/pallet-tack-adhesive
Where did you purchase the screen printing machine and I see you place a orange dot on color does that help align? Any tips for aligning the screen straight
Here's the press I purchased from Amazon: amzn.to/2V0KLZb I just released an online course that shares tons of tips and tricks on how to line up the screens, how to line up the shirts on the press, how to do multi-color designs, and so much more. You can find out more about the course and enroll here: www.pigskinsandpigtails.com/screen-printing-with-a-press/
Thanks so much! If I am adding a second design over the first one, should I cure the first background color first and then add the second? Or can I just let the first (background) color dry a couple of days, add the second color on top, and cure them both together? Much appreciated :)
Amazon. These have been so popular, they keep selling out. I try to keep the link on this page updated with the one that is in stock: www.pigskinsandpigtails.com/product/screen-printing-machine/
If the design is overlapping, you want it to dry completely - which is overnight (or speed it up with a heat gun). This is the heat gun I use: amzn.to/2ZKPzmQ If the inks aren't touching, you just need the first color to be dry to the touch (so it doesn't get on the back of your next screen). This can take about 30 minutes if you let it air dry.
If it's overlapping, I would wait overnight. If you use the blockout method, just wait until it's dry to the touch (about 30 minutes). You can speed up this process with a heat gun!

Love the video. What about the dark room or drying room or something like that for the drying process? I see other videos have a dark room.

I would let it dry but not cure it before putting your 2nd color on top.
@@pigskinsandpigtails Did exactly that and they came out perfect 👌. Also used an iron to fix the print 🤜🤛👍
Please which software application did you use?
I use Cricut Design Space.
Really nice. Where did you get the machine to hold the Screen?
I don't know where she got hers but I got mine from Dharma Trading.

You can use any of them. I myself have a silhouette cameo.
What’s the best vinyl to use?
I have found that Oracal 651 works the best. You can get it by the roll on Amazon: amzn.to/2XCK88W
