1. Getting ENGAGED is the one thing I'm proud of! 2. The one mistake I've learned from is realizing that it's never too late to pursue your truth and be a better version of myself. 3. The one thing I'm letting go of is the idea I should be PERFECT in order to be happy. Thanks Marie to the tips!
1. Learning a decent amount of Spanish from Nada! 2. Letting what another/others think influence my decision making in order to be liked! 3. Codependent behaviour! I like the way this makes you reflect! :-)
1. I am so proud that I left a bad situation and got a bed in the women's shelter. I slept outside for four days until a bed became available. 2. The biggest mistake I made this year was not taking a stand and leaving sooner. 3. I'm willing to let go of anyone and anything that isn't in alignment with my life purpose and goals to be a life coach/personal trainer/dietitian. That includes (butis not limited to) cigarettes and negative, whiny, judgemental people. 💖
lovelymissquinn I know it’s a long time since you commented on this, but I was very moved by what you wrote and I was just curious about how you are now? Such empowerment and inspiration in your sharing 🙌🏾 lots of love love your way ❤️🕯
1. I completed a 5 month volunteer project where I helped organize a social justice bus tour with 6 other youth. I also worked on three murals! 2. I focused too much on an unhappy relationship. I began to ignore my needs, wants and goals. I learned how not prioritizing myself can negatively impacted my career, life vision and my health. I never want to do that again. No one is worth it! 3. I am letting go of self-doubt! It's a huge one but it's what has held me back for so many years. Also, I am using these questions as a yearly birthday reflection. They have been super helpful. Thank you!
Getting rid of toxic people from my life (including family) and focusing on positivity and love have made 2016 my most successful year ever. I got published (photography) in 2 magazines this year. It was my first time being published. :) Removing people who are not healthy for you and putting your life on a journey of light and love will open doors... :) love you Marie!
Toxic. "One who claims toxic of others is himself which a toxic thought, begins". Let go of your toxic thought of your family members. Believe they are not, feel the benevolence coming to you, then just be (non toxic). Then you will be more success than anyone with non-toxic version.
You look so soft and cozy! I need to be like a tree (my husband is a working arborist) . . . my negative voice is that I'm too old so allow it to hold me back . . . 1. Kept my weekly dinner date w/my son (20 years-old). 2. Did not set solid business/financial goals for my own business (did for my husband's business ; ). I learned that unless I set a goal, write it down, see it and work toward it everyday it ain't gonna happen! 3. That I'm too old to start over (new business). I'm 61 but if I continue with this belief I'll never begin . . . so done with holding back! Thanks Marie!
1. quitting my 10 year job to work full time on my food blog>> I am proud of my self for having the courage to follow my dreams. Needless to say, this was one of the hardest decision of my life 2. My biggest mistake was not allowing myself the time to meditate/ connect with myself, which took away the joy of doing what I love. 3. Expectations! Dear Marie, this morning I was a complete mess and didn't know where to start sorting things out until I got your email. Your video was the light I needed to find my balance again. Thank you so much!
1 Married my love in a simple but lovely ceremony not taking on the pressures of having a bigger ceremony or spending a lot of money. 2 I failed on some of my goals but learned that success does not just happen. I need systems, an implementable plan, and accountability. 3 Financial struggle and the belief that I will never be free. Thank you
Proud of: Quitting my job to become a freelancer & moving. Mistake: Overspending. Learned to be much wiser about my finances. Let go of: Change my previous ideas of "success" being linked to money and pivot to success meaning a person who follows their heart.
1. I finally got that y membership ive been procrastinating on getting so can workout more. 2. I made the mistake of continuing a dead relationship with my bf. i should have left a long ago. 3. Letting of fears, negative voices of depression, regret, and anxiety that has taken sleep and peace from me. And FINALLY letting off this toxic relationship and live my life on my own terms without being controlled or feeling neglected. Love the video thank marie!!
1. Did stand up comedy for the FIRST TIME (after YEARSSS of avoiding it) 2. Didn't stand up for myself and be clear on what I wanted 3. I am willing to let go of doubts about the possibilities of what I want to create in my life When I read the email you sent, I at first was like, I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR REFLECTION! I JUST NEED TO KEEP GOING! But alas...I made the time and the time was much needed. Thank you Marie!!
1. I launch my project on postpartum time! 2. I lost vouchers of this one brand we were collaborating with. I should be more careful! 3. Let go the habbit of procrastinating, the fear of starting, the worried I might fall. Thank you Marie for always got my back!
1. Two things that I did this year was finally did was, one getting to do things from last year that I wanted to do and start treatment on my severe allergies. 2. Regretting going off on those fools. 3. I will be doing things to help my health in the long run regardless of the cost, as long as it does not get me into trouble.
1. My 10 days of meditation and silence experience (Vipassana) 2. Stressed too much over social media 3. Overthinking life. Nothing good ever comes from overthinking things. Love from France, Marie! Thank you for being you.
I like your channel Marie. 1) The one thing that I'm that I'm proud of this year is getting myself out of retail after 4 1/2 years and landing a job, working at a dentist office as a receptionist. By working at the dentist office, I've met a lot of nice and interesting people, and made a stable income. 2) Don't waste time doing nothing, be productive. Be frugle with my money. 3) In the new year, I'm willing to let go of my procrastination and my self-doubt.
1. Finally updating our will with a trust for our child with special needs, after years of procrastination. 2. Not seeking enough help from professionals, friends & relatives when I went on a downward spiral with depression and procrastination. The lesson I learned is to commit to having a happy life with my family no matter what it takes. 3. Being retired and aging does not mean that I cannot have as happy, fulfilling and productive life as before.
Thank you for this, Marie! This has got to be my favorite exercise of the year, and I am still writing details in every area. To summarize and join in the conversation: 1. I am proud of having switched from Twitter RT's of not good news to a movement of changing our mindset to Cero Excusas... Still on this challenging journey! 2. I made the mistake of giving away my power to groups of friends, family and neighbors, by staying too long in trying to convince others of the happy healthy ways, when I have to just express myself in the right groups, with the people who are actually ready to change! 3. I finally let go of holding myself guilty for mistakes I made in the past. Wow, this is a big one, because my new story is that I let go of anything that is not KIND, loving, joyful and empowering to myself. As Marie says: "It's not till you get rid of something, that you realize how much it's been holding you back." Thank you, Marie, Team Forleo & beautiful community!
1. I am proud of myself for taking a chance and moving on my own to a completely different state. 2. I fell off the path of bettering myself due to "friends" and i learned i need to be able to judge if someone truly has my best interest in mind. 3. I am willing to let go of my fear of being alone and fear of not being accepted. Thank you so much Marie, feels like therapeutic.. ;)
1. decluttering my life and saving money 2. I procrastinate on things school-related even though it should be my first priority. Also, I dont' take good care of myself through what I eat/exercice. It isn't that bad. I walk a lot and don't eat junkfood, but I would like to make a conscious effort to do better. 3. I want to let go of the shame and the feeling of being competent from my past failures. I really need to let them go so that I can start the new year feeling positive and empowered. Good luck to everyone in your endeavours!! xxx
1. Proud: She's the First raised $1.25M dollars, supporting more than 800 Scholars and 216 campus chapters with education, global citizenship, and leadership development! We relaunched our website and had a FANTASTIC Mentor Breakfast (thanks to you, Marie!) Personally proud of making progress (more time together) in a long-distance relationship and being a supportive partner to my boyfriend Michael. 2. Mistake: I spent too much time and energy worrying about small stuff that shouldn't have bothered me--when I ultimately worked through it, I realized I could have avoided a lot of distraction if I had just been upfront sooner. 3. Willing to let go: To my grief that we did not elect our first female and most qualified president. 2017 is time to be a stronger advocate, have our voices be heard, and take action to protect and advance human rights.
1.making extrodinary fast progress in my knowledge in a short period of time 2. getting tired of the longterm work I had to do and low.key quitting it 3. that I didn't get into medschool this year
1- Published 2 new books - Ines' Words and Harables - Short Stories 2 2- Refusing to accept that some people will never change, allowing them to hurt me again and again, hoping they would change. I learned they will not change just because I expected them to. 3- Getting rid of toxic people from my life.
i'm reading these comments and I feel so proud to be in this crowd! Marie, thank you for this video, and so early in December, we have time to prepair ;) ok, so: 1) started jewelry line 2) overstressing on my daily job, am still learning not to stress 3) ready to leave fear of all kind
Hi Marie!! Thanks for what you do! 1. We have developed an INCREDIBLY diverse product offerings gallery!! Each photo says WOW! EVERY ONE! 2. I learned to better know our materials and they're limitations and how to best use what to fulfill our promise. Nothing worse than feeling you let a customer down. 3. I will let go of my competitive mindset and move in my creative mindset! thanks marie! this excercise definitely examines whats most important: dos and donts!
1. Worked on a Feature Film 2. Got angry at producer b/c I didn't get the role I wanted. Learned it's out of my control 3. I'm letting go of pleasing others
1.) Paid off all of my credit cards and got pointed in the right direction financially! (Proud of) 2.) Being too political on your social media can affect your business communication. (Mistake I Made) 3.) I am going to let go of some emotional baggage that doesn't serve me well. (Let Go Of)
1. My garden! 2. Taking my husband and 39 year marriage, 46 year relationship (since age 13) for granted. 3. My old self (disorganized, unsure of myself, fear).
it definitely feels like something big broke inside me (emptiness without any feeling), than I embraced that. It happened few weeks ago, but for a while now I am looking at this sentence:"Don't take life so seriously, it's not like you're going to get out alive." few stresfull situations made me release this unreasonable fears so I can stay healthy. Also, leave perfectionism aside. Better finished than perfect. All Marie's lessons practices ;)
Proud: started having dinner together with my family. Mistake and lesson: expecting others to do what i wont do for myself. Letting go: guilt and shame of not showing up to music practice and writing that screenplay.
1.starting a RUclips channel &a staying at home with my daughter 2. Not having a clear vision regarding various parts of my life --learning to overcome and change the beliefs that have hindered me 3. Approval of man :)
1. It was on my list of goals for many years: I took voice lessons and discovered more about myself that I could have imagined. 2. I realized that making myself smaller and not following my gut feelings is causing real damage in my health, financially, in my work. 3. I am willing to let go to rush into things without checking what I really feel
1. Officiated a wedding! This was something that was very much outside my comfort zone(public speaking), but since it was for a close friend, I told myself I would do it despite being afraid. In the end everything went perfect. 2. I keep making the mistake of thinking that whatever I create/produce needs to be perfect. News flash, it doesn't! I need to produce and get stuff out into the world. The more I can create the more I can grow. 3. I want to let go of the score cards. Keeping score between me and my partner on who's done more chores around the house, etc, is just toxic and doesn't help anyone.
1. finished scoring a feature film. 2. procrastinated which made me feel overwhelmed .... which made me procrastinate more. the crazy Cycle 3. letting go of my "shyness " I need to start getting more open, assertive and outgoing
My answers are below for your perusal Marie, I'd love to hear what you have to say about them as I adore your show & your vibe girl!! 1. My role in an NGO as a Videographer which has been very challenging, rewarding and a lot of fun. 2. Allowing people to treat me poorly. So I've learnt to be more selective about who I spend my time with. 3. Talent Management as I realised by actually experiencing it that it's not for me as I cannot move enough creatively. Thank you for enriching my life so very much this year Marie as you're one of a kind. Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to you! ! ! ! 😃
1. Serious strength training 2. Staying at home and commuting, rather than learning to live independently for the last four months. 3. A person who makes me feel like I don't have enough, and that I'm not good enough
Awesome as always Marie! 1. I am super proud that my confidence has grown this year as I have secured clients for my business and writing services. 2. I did not set myself up for success with some clients and because of it the contracts did not renew. 3. I am committing to letting go of unneccessary things and people in my life.
1. Proud: Got my song on a big tv show 2. Mistake: Not breaking up w a guy - lesson: do what feels best to me, follow and listen to my feelings earlier on 3. Letting go of: trying to impress others
i love you, Marie! thanks a lot! 1. gave birth to the second son. 2. karma exists. be generous and kind to the rest of the world (as much as possible) 3. to get rid of unpleasant cheap stuff in my home (including presents)
Dear Marie thank you so much for all the wisdom throughout this year, and all the past years. I am not where I want to be but I'm moving there, I'm on my way. Your words help me and soothe me when I'm in emotional pain for not being where I want to be. You help me keep my self motivated and keep up with the good work when I'm not feeling well. Lots of love and a warm hug! Have a wonderful festive time!! Xo
thank you so much Marie I REALLY looooooooove your videos here is one thing I'm proud of: Avoiding to say the words 'No' and 'Never' really allowed me to learn and live lots of stuff through my year,im proud of doing that -One lesson I learned: To let go of my pride and saying 'sorry' to the right people when they deserve it, it made me feel good, not guilty and also let me see my flaws and mistakes, forgiveness is really a gift to YOURSELF and gives you lots of strength when you learn from it. -One thing I'm willing to let go of this 2017: the fear of taking big responsibilities just because I think 'I'm not good enough' to take and keep them, because now I'm convinced I am :)
1. Joined a writer's group. 2. The mistake I made is waiting for the "perfect time/opportunity to start working towards my goals. 3. Letting go of the "I'm too old" jam.
1. I wrote my first book in 2018! 2. I self-published it and didn't advertise it enough, so it was a bit of a flop. 3. I will let go of the past, and create a kick-ass marketing plan for it in 2019. :)
1. I'm really proud of myself for selling my house for EXACTLY the amount I asked for, set aside an emergency fund, found & bought the land of my dreams (and it even came with a tiny house that my husband and I have already renovated and are now living in)! All of this we managed to do in 1 year, after dreaming of making this happen for 6+ years together 😍 2. A major mistake that I made this year was not showing up to my business in selling essential oils and products & educating others about natural wellness in the same ways that I've always shown up at any job I've ever had. I was always one of the top sales people, ever since I was a little girl doing fundraisers at school, when I worked at Teavana & Apple I continued to achieve high success in sales and it was simply because I really listen to people, I care about them and their needs, and I always make my honest recommendation that meets their needs. I'm realizing how important it is to show up in my own business like that all the time!! if I always rely on falling back on a job and working for someone else when I'm not making enough sales in my own business then the reality is that I'm just not helping enough people, which means I'm doing a disservice to the world. 3. im willing to let go of procrastination and fear s sharing my dreams, passions, knowledge, wisdom, compassion, and experiences with the world. I am willing to let go of patterns and behaviors that keep me small and inhibit me from living my truth and living a life of service. thanks so much for these weekly videos! I love the questions and I'm glad you encouraged us to write them down 🤗
1. I had the chance to see the operating room and even scrub in during my two months of surgical practise which was one of my biggest dreams. 2. I've been worrrying too much about what can possibly go wrong, but any of the bad thoughts did not come true. 3. Fear, not believing in myself, doubt, pessimism.
1. I published my 1st book as an Indie Writer this year and released on Amazon. 2. I made some financial mistakes in 2016 that cost me a lot. 3. I am willing to let go of the people who longer respect me or my dreams.
Great video Marie... 1) Started a RUclips channel and a twitter account. As a shy person this was a big step for me. 2) Not trusting my gut, having "analysis paralysis" on a big decision. 3)Trying to do it all by myself. I am learning the "No Train" and delegating. Still working on this one...small steps.
Wow! Thank you, Marie. This was an eye-opener. 2016 YEAR IN REVIEW: 1. What did I do, create, or experience this year that I am really PROUD of? - This year, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, & I have spent nearly all of my time researching & implementing what I need to do to heal physically, mentally, & emotionally from MS. Looking back at my Facebook memories, I have accomplished some really fun, exciting, extraordinary things. But, NOT 2016. Made me sad to realize that I didn't do anything this year. I now have a lot to make up for in 2017! 2. What MISTAKES, did I make, & what LESSONS did I learn? - I made a lot of relational mistakes, especially with my boyfriend. 3. What am I willing to LET GO of (tangible, mental, emotional, etc.)? - I am ready to let go of LIMITING BELIEFS! * I'm too old (to write music & pursue any type of music career, to have a baby, to be on Broadway) * I'm not pretty enough anymore (to revisit modeling, to be on stage, to be in front of camera) I have a lot of work to do for 2017! Thx, Marie.
1. Got accept in an organization despite thinking that I'm not good enough. 2. I let go of a 3-year friendship and I learn that you should let go of friends, not because they are toxic to you but because you are toxic to them. 3. The story that ppl won't care or will be annoyed by me if I ask them anything that doesn't revole around them.
1. Pushing through my fears and becoming a dance professor. 2. Staying connected with people I care about. 3. SOCIAL MEDIA -- it's so distracting and honestly my break from FB created room to stop comparing myself to others and be able to apply to jobs.
1) Got my Instagram account to 2000 followers and traveled to France 2) Staying at my parents' house for as long as I have. Pushing too hard for my dreams and exhausting myself. I'm learning to trust myself with big decisions and have more fun in the process. 3) I want to let go of the shame I feel about going broke and not achieving the success I had hoped for this year.
You are awesome Marie, thank you for this video. I was introduced to your videos last year when I began my management diploma. I now tune in every time I see you have a video uploaded. Keep up the fantastic work!
MARIE YOUR ACTUALLY AN AWESOME PERSON. YOU ARE A TRUE MENTOR OF MINE. SO EXCITED TO SEARCH YOUR CHANNEL FOR MORE GREAT VIDEOS AND IM SURE I WON'T BE LET DOWN. thanks and keep doing what you're doing..
This was fantastic. I'm really proud of doing school and doing it well. I'm willing to let go of someone who has hurt me far more than they have helped me.
1. I'm super proud of applying to speak at a huge conference, doing the work, getting selected, and coming up with the financing - all in time and to a fantastic experience :D 2. The biggest mistake I made was to put too much on my plate. I can't be an author, RUclipsr, international speaker and millionaire all in one year. Maybe a few years though ;) I desperately need to learn to focus on one success at a time. 3. I'm willing to let go of the constant feeling of not being good enough, especially around people who reinforce that bias. I am good, bloody good, when I put in the work and am excited about something.
1. In the profession I was successfully able to take up all the responsibilities which were on my way 2. Did not take any stand on personal life's decision & learning from it is clearly unless I myself is satisfied, I cannot satisfy anyone else in the relations 3. Wasting time on useless discussions
Marie you are such an inspiration! I've adapted your questions for my mums/parents specifically and of course fully credited you and your video. Thank you for helping me think about how to make the most of 2017. x
1. I started exercising again after my arthritis diagnosis. I honestly though I will never be able to even walk normally again. But I just bought a barbell for Christmas! 2. I let other's people success and feedback to disarm me and make me feel not good enough. I learned that only I know what I am going through and how hard am I working. I need to listen to my own song. 3. The feeling of not being good enough (professional, girlfriend, daughter, person). Everyone has their own path. Thanks Marie, love you.
It's small but I'm still proud I've been able to overcome the image conciousness I had towards my in-laws. My biggest mistake was to jeopardize my career for my personal life.basically my in-laws whose expectations are insatiable I'm letting go off the negativity and insecurities about myself
1.) Moved out and found a beautiful and charming studio that is one block from the beach in Santa Cruz, CA 2.) The mistake I keep making is hanging out with friends who like drink/go out and party. The lesson I continually learn from this is that it always brings me down emotionally and physically. It's a dead-end road and isn't getting me anywhere. 3.) What I am willing to let go off... the first thing that pops into my mind is alcohol. I KNOW with all my heart and soul that if I can release this from my life then my life will finally begin in the best way I could ever dream of. However, I just can't commit to that. So for now, I am willing to let go of the thought that I must drink in order to have fun and be social. I will willingly try and make new friends who have healthy habits and I will feel less inclined to drink alcohol because we will have other things in common. Thank you to whoever reads this
1. Improving english program and connecting with students through kinesthetic learning while training others teacher in new breakthrough approach for S.Korea~also, teaching modern dance outside of the norm for here to students with no verbal language in common. God, I love creating. 2. Waiting for others to be leaders when I need to start new groups, socialization, etc. where they don't exist and taking things too personally worrying what others thought when I need to be firm in who I am and what I stand for~~ I za got good things to say, share and stand for~~. 3. Going to go through my list. Already started getting rid of things in my apartment, tidying up. This is a good reminder for this global nomad with only backpack and heart sinks when I have to give up some things when moving on~~ It's only stuff
I love you Marie! I really needed this video right now. Perfect timing. Also, I must say, you always know how to capture the watcher's attention while providing useful information.
I think best thing I've done this year is reading 100 books, My incredible mistake is I didn't study enough in school, I will try the next year to stop being shy also.
These were great questions to ask my self and I love that it's simple, powerful and fast! They will definitely help me with my 2017 goals and strategies. Thanks for sharing
Wonderful vlog Marie....this year I decided to start my own business as my passion coming true after 5 years. Secondly I will just go with the flow and will keep my confidence in what I love to do...I will let go the hesitation and anger that I get from my in laws which is really annoying I feel sometimes but as you said I will let it go:))
As always thanks for your videos Marie, I took the time to actually sit down and do this!!! 1) Made a lot of new friends and contacts though networking my ass off! 2) Not taking better care of finances! 3) No more lower income generating clients that are not worth the time or money! Happy New Year, have a great 2017!!!
First off, Marie I loved you at first web site "sight" few years ago, I loved you even more this year and I'm sure my love for you will GROW ginormously next year...To answer yr awesome questions: 1- I started a diet at the beginning of the year and reached my ideal weight. I walk regularly and swim occasionally. Exercising is soon-to-become a very enjoyable HABIT. When my aunt saw my makeover she said: "Are you in love?" . I answered secretly: "Yes, I'm in love with myself" :). In fact, I named the folder where I kept my food diary "Self LUV" 3> 2- Choosing the wrong types of friends who spared no effort to limit me even though I'm UNLIMITED. Fortunately, I already rectified this mistake and ended these unhealthy relationships. 3- .I'm willing to let go of all the disempowering beliefs that I willingly allowed others to impose on me. In addition, I want to fully heal and forgive the past. This process will take a long time I suppose. Anyway, stating it here is one giant step in the right direction. Thank you as ever for the healthy dose of inspiration. Let's go make it big time :-)
I finally put a stall for my DIY work and it went well. Destroying the relationship with the person who helped with my DIY and also to put up the stall. The thoughts of my ex being having so much of a hold on my mind.
Thank you Marie for this video and all of the other awesome advice you offer so freely! I started journaling about all of these questions and I'd have to say 2018 for me was one of so much growth and fun! 1. I said good bye to many toxic people and thoughts and made room for a wonderful, loving, healthy relationship with a mature and amazing man who has no addictions!! 2. I had a great year professionally booked two series co star roles and did some local line producing and coaching for some talented newbies. 3.Made some important long overdo financial decisions that will lead to peace in that area. ps I love your sweater can you share your killer wardrobe secrets?
Amazing, Maureen! It sounds like you had a beautiful year and we're so glad these exercises helped you reflect on the positive changes you made. Congratulations on the love and success you've found- we're sending along our best wishes for abundance in all areas of your life in 2019! - Team Forleo
Awesome video as always Marie! :) 1. My RUclips Channel 2. Not being consistent enough in my businesses with a VARIETY of things (marketing, creating content). 3. I really want to let go of the FEAR and my overthinking habit. I will beat an idea to death before actually doing anything (which eventually causes me to not do anything at all).
1. Got a spot to show my artwork in a Art Gallery
2. Holding on to pain
3. Procrastination
1) published a book
2) invested too much in social media
3) social media
Thanks for the quick review tips Marie! 💜
Congratulations on your book ! Good luck for next year ♥
Christina Patterson
Such empowerment and inspiration in your sharing 🙌🏾 lots of love love your way ❤️🕯
@@signebjerre6918 I was wondering this too
Red Lily I can totally relate when your family is toxic :( it hurts but we need to move on
Red Lily Congrats on getting published! I can relate about the toxic family.
Needless to say, this was one of the hardest decision of my life
1. Did stand up comedy for the FIRST TIME (after YEARSSS of avoiding it)
2. Didn't stand up for myself and be clear on what I wanted
3. I am willing to let go of doubts about the possibilities of what I want to create in my life
When I read the email you sent, I at first was like, I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR REFLECTION!
1. My 10 days of meditation and silence experience (Vipassana)
2. Stressed too much over social media
3. Overthinking life. Nothing good ever comes from overthinking things.
Love from France, Marie! Thank you for being you.
oh how i would LOVE to experience your #1.
1. I got into the company I wanted.
2. I left everything for tomorrow, I learned to just do it!
3 I am letting go of FEAR!
To summarize and join in the conversation:
As Marie says: "It's not till you get rid of something, that you realize how much it's been holding you back."
Thank you, Marie, Team Forleo & beautiful community!
Thank you so much Marie, feels like therapeutic.. ;)
1. decluttering my life and saving money
1.making extrodinary fast progress in my knowledge in a short period of time
2. getting tired of the longterm work I had to do and low.key quitting it
3. that I didn't get into medschool this year
1- Published 2 new books - Ines' Words and Harables - Short Stories 2
2- Refusing to accept that some people will never change, allowing them to hurt me again and again, hoping they would change. I learned they will not change just because I expected them to.
3- Getting rid of toxic people from my life.
i'm reading these comments and I feel so proud to be in this crowd! Marie, thank you for this video, and so early in December, we have time to prepair ;) ok, so:
1) started jewelry line
2) overstressing on my daily job, am still learning not to stress
3) ready to leave fear of all kind
1-Caught a 22 inch Bass
2-Failed to apply my all in a job
3-let go of abandonment fear and fear of failure/success
Awesome video! Thank you!
1. started blogging
2. being too hard on myself
3. Comparing myself too much with the people around me
1. Worked on a Feature Film
2. Got angry at producer b/c I didn't get the role I wanted. Learned it's out of my control
3. I'm letting go of pleasing others
Bryan Thomas would love to see your feature film :)
Neeko Freeman Lookup 'JL Ranch'
ANYTHING HAPPENED OUTSIDE OF YO IMAGINATION ?
1.) Paid off all of my credit cards and got pointed in the right direction financially! (Proud of)
2.) Being too political on your social media can affect your business communication. (Mistake I Made)
3.) I am going to let go of some emotional baggage that doesn't serve me well. (Let Go Of)
1. My garden!
2. Taking my husband and 39 year marriage, 46 year relationship (since age 13) for granted.
3. My old self (disorganized, unsure of myself, fear).
First one is the toughest... I'm proud that I finally broke this cycle of fear, it's a small thing but so significant... Thanks for this episode :)
Ada123 that's mine too, and also I think it's the biggest thing ever :)
can you share with me how, please?!!
thanks in advance :-)
it definitely feels like something big broke inside me (emptiness without any feeling), than I embraced that.
1.starting a RUclips channel &a staying at home with my daughter
2. Not having a clear vision regarding various parts of my life --learning to overcome and change the beliefs that have hindered me
I'm proud th that I'm graduating this week.
I need to work on being more compassionate.
I need to let go of my hatred of my body.
2. procrastinated which made me feel overwhelmed .... which made me procrastinate more. the crazy Cycle
3. letting go of my "shyness " I need to start getting more open, assertive and outgoing
1. Had a role in my first feature film!
2. Neglected my physical and mental health
3. Social Media!
So motivating! Marie, you always put me in the right headspace!
1. Serious strength training
1: starting my own business
2 : running away from your problems well make them even worst
3: anxiety
1. Proud: Got my song on a big tv show
2. Mistake: Not breaking up w a guy - lesson: do what feels best to me, follow and listen to my feelings earlier on
3. Letting go of: trying to impress others
i love you, Marie! thanks a lot!
1. gave birth to the second son.
2. karma exists. be generous and kind to the rest of the world (as much as possible)
3. to get rid of unpleasant cheap stuff in my home (including presents)
Xo
thank you so much Marie I REALLY looooooooove your videos
here is one thing I'm proud of:
Avoiding to say the words 'No' and 'Never' really allowed me to learn and live lots of stuff through my year,im proud of doing that
-One lesson I learned:
To let go of my pride and saying 'sorry' to the right people when they deserve it, it made me feel good, not guilty and also let me see my flaws and mistakes, forgiveness is really a gift to YOURSELF and gives you lots of strength when you learn from it.
-One thing I'm willing to let go of this 2017:
the fear of taking big responsibilities just because I think 'I'm not good enough' to take and keep them, because now I'm convinced I am :)
1. Joined a writer's group. 2. The mistake I made is waiting for the "perfect time/opportunity to start working towards my goals. 3. Letting go of the "I'm too old" jam.
Your number 2 and 3 are something we all go through, I feel like.
All of this we managed to do in 1 year, after dreaming of making this happen for 6+ years together 😍
Loved this exercise the first year l did it and back here again for 2021! 💖✨
Wow! Thank you, Marie. This was an eye-opener.
2016 YEAR IN REVIEW:
* I'm too old (to write music & pursue any type of music career, to have a baby, to be on Broadway)
* I'm not pretty enough anymore (to revisit modeling, to be on stage, to be in front of camera)
I have a lot of work to do for 2017! Thx, Marie.
1) Got my Instagram account to 2000 followers and traveled to France
2) Staying at my parents' house for as long as I have.
1. I'm super proud of applying to speak at a huge conference, doing the work, getting selected, and coming up with the financing - all in time and to a fantastic experience :D
I am good, bloody good, when I put in the work and am excited about something.
one of your best Marie. this video will certainly shape my life, thank you
1. In the profession I was successfully able to take up all the responsibilities which were on my way
2. Did not take any stand on personal life's decision & learning from it is clearly unless I myself is satisfied, I cannot satisfy anyone else in the relations
3. Wasting time on useless discussions
Hey Marie. Thanks so much for all you do!
Ooo thanks for the 3 questions, going to review my year now Xx
These questions are exactly what I've been looking for. Can't wait to dive deeper into them and answer them. Thank you Marie!
nodded my head and said YESS to everything in this video. thank you marie!!
My Good! I just love u soooo much!! thanks for sharing this!
It's been such a tough year - the very best thing I have done is constantly juggle and survive!
me too . .well said Pandy!! 👍
Marie, you are amazing, thank you so much for this!!
It's small but I'm still proud I've been able to overcome the image conciousness I had towards my in-laws.
My biggest mistake was to jeopardize my career for my personal life.basically my in-laws whose expectations are insatiable
I'm letting go off the negativity and insecurities about myself
the_grl_rocks
Love you, Marie!
Just made my day
This is the first that I needed for 2017. You made me think really hard. Thankyou so much. 😊
1.) Moved out and found a beautiful and charming studio that is one block from the beach in Santa Cruz, CA
2.) The mistake I keep making is hanging out with friends who like drink/go out and party.
Thank you to whoever reads this
Happy birthday Marie! I love you!
This is a good reminder for this global nomad with only backpack and heart sinks when I have to give up some things when moving on~~ It's only stuff
easy but solid advice, thank you marie!
Exactly what I needed! Thanks Marie!
This is FANTASTIC! Love you more, Marie!😍😍😍
First off, Marie I loved you at first web site "sight" few years ago, I loved you even more this year and I'm sure my love for you will GROW ginormously next year...To answer yr awesome questions:
1- I started a diet at the beginning of the year and reached my ideal weight. I walk regularly and swim occasionally. Exercising is soon-to-become a very enjoyable HABIT. When my aunt saw my makeover she said: "Are you in love?" . I answered secretly: "Yes, I'm in love with myself" :). In fact, I named the folder where I kept my food diary "Self LUV" 3>
2- Choosing the wrong types of friends who spared no effort to limit me even though I'm UNLIMITED.
Let's go make it big time :-)
Really useful advice. Thank you Marie x
Thank you :) Great points
Powerful episode Marie! Great process. I'm going to share it at my holiday party for my company this week. :)
I finally put a stall for my DIY work and it went well.
Destroying the relationship with the person who helped with my DIY and also to put up the stall.
The thoughts of my ex being having so much of a hold on my mind.
the perfect video ! thank you Marie ! ❤💖❤
I took my sister to Europe
Holding on to disappointments in people
Negative people
Awesome video as always Marie! :) 1. My RUclips Channel 2. Not being consistent enough in my businesses with a VARIETY of things (marketing, creating content). 3. I really want to let go of the FEAR and my overthinking habit. I will beat an idea to death before actually doing anything (which eventually causes me to not do anything at all).
Happy Birthday, Marie! :)
such a great video: makes me think of these questions the remainder of the year, lol (I have 5 days left). Thanks a lot, Marie!
