  • Running our Boat 90 miles to Fish off the Dry Tortugas
The Dry Tortugas is made up of 7 islands totaling 100 square miles. Whether you’re a history buff, nature enthusiast or avid fisherman, the Dry Tortugas is a must visit.
At the heart of it all, lies Garden Key, home to Fort Jefferson. Fort Jefferson was built in the 1800’s to protect North America. With the location of the Tortugas being along one of the world’s busiest shipping lanes, it made for a great military asset for the United States. Today, the Fort is only reachable by boat or seaplane. The good news is if you don’t have your own vessel to run over in, you can catch a ferry!
We ran our 33' Invincible 90 miles from Big Pine Key to our fishing spot on the North side of the park. We may have had to battle some sharks and dodge some storms but the catch and wildlife made it all worth it!

Big respect to you two… your channel could have 2x the clicks as a bikini fishing channel. But y’all actually fish! Not just hopping aboard a charter boat, half naked and taking videos. Respect.

  • @outofthedeepadventures2658

My cheeks hurt! Realized I had not stopped smiling the entire episode! Has to be one of your top videos ever! Your joyous synchronized “WHALE SHARK” was funny and heartwarming. Excellent video lady anglers!! Well done 🐟!!

Need to drag that boat up to NJ and take it to the Hudson canyon. Make sure you got your 80s and 130s. Anything less would be uncivilized 😂. It's all fun and games till you got a 300lb bigeye on the other end and it goes from 3ft seas to 20ft in 10 minutes. You can learn what we go through daily having to run 60 to 120 miles one way to find good water. The best is when you do all that and get skunked 😂😆😂. I get customers in summer from down south and they look at me like I'm nuts when I tell them it's a 5 hour ride. Then they watch the depth finder on the ride and realize that we got a desert for over 50 miles that doesn't drop off. Then it goes from 50 fathoms to 1500 in a mile

We ran up on 2 Whale Sharks swimming together out of St. Pete. We caught 38" Cobia cruising under Whale Shark with a Pin fish as well.very cool experience.

  • @brianlb78

You do know that drones aren't allowed inside Dry Tortugas National Park?

  • @zippy4185

Love how excited you guys get when something as exciting as that Cobia gets hooked on.

  • @richseahag4980

Pulley ridge is the best but I like dry tortogas for the variety of fish you can feed the sharks with. That’s what happens when you close commercial shark fishing. They overpopulate which then causes collapse of snappers/groupers/ and then the sharks will have to eat each other. Great job fisheries managers.

You guys are so fun to watch!! Those bloopers had me cracking up lol keep doing what you’re doing! I learn something every time I watch your videos. My two little girls love watching your channel with us and I hope that they someday enjoy fishing and the outdoors like you two do as well!

Made the trip from Big Pine to the Tortugas last summer- I went around Ramrod and came out by Sawyer key, Hugged the coast and could see land pretty much the whole way, only open ocean was between Marqueses & DT. Cruised around 40ish the whole way & got there in a little over 2 hours. Trip of a lifetime, Sharks can be brutal but we managed to avoid them most of the day. I have the same 300's on my boat, left the dock with 220 gallons and had 70 left when we got back to Big Pine that night.

  • @davidchambers9953

Emily and Amanda gale. Looks like you ladies are having a good time in your video fishing for the day Emily and Amanda gale.

I see you topped off the tank at our favorite resort in Key West (Stock Island, technically), Ocean's Edge Resort and Marina. The restaurant there is great.
