  • Catching dinner by hand in STRONG current! Florida Keys Spiny Lobster
Florida Keys Spiny Lobster! Swimming in strong currents to catch your dinner is about as rewarding as it gets! Although diving in the Florida Keys beautiful blue green water may sound peaceful and relaxing, lobstering is much more of an expedition! Whether being towed by a boat (please only do so if you are experienced) or searching for lobster tentacles by snorkeling around it can definitely become quiet the task. Our first lobster spot had only small non-keeper lobsters so we got back into the boat to run to our next spot! The second spot had deeper water and stronger current but many more lobsters. We got to work and began catching our dinner!!

"What are we doing today." No ego zone! It's refreshing that you don't try to cover up the little stumbles. I think it's one of the reasons your videos feel like I'm going out fishing with friends.

Holy Cow! Cue card problems in the Into, Ear Infection and the Capt. Couple smashing it on the lobsters! All i could think of was some melted butter with a little garlic and herbs in white wine sauce. Yummmmmeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyy! Please drop a few on dry ice and ship to my house!!!!!!LOL!

There is quite a difference between the twins who do everything themselves
verses hiring a guide that puts them on fish. Their recognition is highly deserved.

Is the middle tail fin (telson) the same as on a crayfish, where you can lightly twist & pull it out to remove the poop string? Growing up on the lakes in northern MN, us kids used to say “don’t forget to get that poopy tail” when cleaning our crayfish catch lol.
Our mom would cook ‘em up in a huge pot of boiling water w/a few seasonings added. Few kids gathered in small cabin kitchen watching the color change. There’d be a pan of melting butter already on the side of our bonfire. All the other kids up at the lake who took part in the nite time catch gathered around the fire to help devour our huge catch! Oh another fun memory! Thx ladies...

Or once your done fishing can you just cook and clean seeing how there is no need to return to a dock because your live a board living on the hook? Thanks love your channel
