I love that boat . Can’t wait until your build is done so you can share it with us . That is super cool to be able to have it built for the comfort of your growing family . Love your videos
Absolutely magic…. a partnership between the best fishing/diving channel out there and the best boat manufacturer. Congrats to you Clay and Phil and all of us are in for the great videos coming. Stephanie and Keeley have their cabin! 👍🙏🏻
First time I got to go offshe it was a dream come true. As an East Texas farm boy I had grown up watching "The American Sportsman". I think the host was Curt Gowdy but memory fades eith the decades. So on my first trip out we went 97 miles out of Galveston to the Tequila rigs. The Captian, who was a cowworker, had us rigged out with heavy tackle and 10 ft. long piano wire leaders rigged up where there was a tag line of wire 6 inches above the hook. He threaded a squid up over the hook and hooked the top on the leader tag. It had a large lead sinker on it. He told me let it out about 20 or 30 feet and hold onto the rod. I did and quickly reeled in a hefty blue runner. I reeled it in. I was dissapointed but to be polite to the man who took me offshore for the first time. I said, well it's not that big but zI bet it tastes great. He looked at me and smiled and replied, " yeah the Amberjack love them". This time my instructions were to let the bait hit the bottom and then reel in 10 revolutions. He also said, pay attention and don't turn loose of that rod, it's very expensive. I followed instruction but after a few minutesI was distracted by the rig, the noise, and just my first trip offshore. Within only 2 or thrè minutes the rod was almost jerked out of my hands. It was a 5' boat rod and it hit the gunwales and bent in a C shape. 30 minutes or so lated we landed my first Amberjack. When I stuck my hands in it's gills and stood up to take a pic, the tail was draggging the ground. I'm only 5'10" but it was a hughe fish and I was hooked for life. Thanks Bruce.
Wow… Front Runner boats are the Tip of The Spear. ➡️ Phil…Impressive on the building process of Front Runners. Nice job on the Wahoo. Clay You never cease to amaze on video Content . Welcome to the north flow river. That brand is making waves. Only twenty minutes from me. I was there for a captains meeting for a king tournament I was volunteering for and seen some models on display. Absolute phenomenal line up. Although I just purchased a new contender in January I did consider this brand. The fit and finish looked great. Hope you enjoy the new layout. I can’t wait to get back down to your area in September. Those little football tunas are a blast.
Appreciate it my friend we definitely had a blast! Front Runner definitely has something great going on making it easy for us to make our decision. Thanks so much for watching and we will see you down in the keys!

Phil has a great product. I have hull number 3. Great fishing boat. Continuous improvements will lead to FrontRunner to be in the top 3 fishing boats in the world, IMO>.
Wow what a great vid and what great boat. I didn't realize how well built the front runner is! When I'm ready to upgrade I'm going to definitely look at the front runner!
This is so awesome to see! Local boat builder being supported by local Florida fishermen! Glad to see you jump into a front runner and we can’t wait to see the new hull on the show. Also that 36 in the video out there fishing with y’all was my buddy. My son was out there with them that day and just saw this video and got excited to see himself on tv haha. Great video and keep on producing great content.
This video is EPIC! Tonny, keep up your humbleness, success is coming your way 🙏🏻. Same for you and your family Clay, many blessings coming your way. Keep up the good work 🤝. Tailwinds
Born and raised in Hawaii, fishing surfing diving etc., I had a custom built Force 30 flybridge for me to commercial fish around the big island where I live. I had it built in the early to mid 80's. I make my living commercial fishing, so speed was not a concern, as I typically go on 4-5 day and night long fishing trips!! I had a single diesel engine with straight shaft set up and trolling at 8- 10 knots I burned 2&1/2 gallons per hour!! Diesel was 70 cents a gallon back then ! I had insulated fish hold capacity of 6000 lbs. I just still absolutely prefer an open cockpit, so when trolling for instance, I have all the open space for leadering big ahi, and marlin, and lots of ono and Mahi Mahi etc. It's extremely important to me to have my gunnel height at the transom so at a slight crouch I can lock my thighs and knees in and under it to brace myself taking double wraps pulling leader on big gorilla ahi (200-300 lb size) and the big blue marlin Hawaii is world famous for, though I do not target big marlin for commercial fishing and the Huge "donkeys" (over 500+ lb blue marlin are all females. But since I live in kona and base out of Honokohau harbor there, I do take friends out sport fishing for fun! I've literally caught 100's of 500+lb donkeys many up to 900-1000 lbs!! Lot's, fishing by myself alone!! I just don't like light takle fishing, and having one outboard leg, or 4 huge outboard motors off the transom because you can easily have a fish tangle the leader in the props and break it off, which is no fun after fighting a big ahi for 30-45 minutes, or worse a huge Blue Marlin for 6-12 hours or more which kona is famous for!! It must really suck, but inboard engine with straight shaft is a dream wiring the huge ahi and marlin with the whole cockpit opento move around in and with experience you can learn to keep fish from diving under the hull and cutting the leader losing a fish!! So these are awesome boats, and fast of course, but with 4 huge outboard engines and gasoline, it must be crazy expensive to run, also compared to inboard diesel and straight shaft set ups, there's standard maintenance and they just purrrrr, (though loud so noise proof ing and muffled exhaust is needed) I just watched guns with Volvo penta diesel io set ups doing so much regular leg maintenance and it was very expensive for parts compared to Detroit or cat, or Cummins that just go for ever if you take care of them ! Flybridge's are awesome for a captain to be up high and back down etc on bg marlin especially cause you have a great view above deck level!! Just how the classic sport fishing boats in kona are built for fighting huge fidh!!!! I rarely fish off kona commercial fishing!!! I prefer to fish the extremely rough trade winds exposed waters off the remote areas of the Big island, where few boats go plus it takes days to reach them and get back!!! But man the materials and high tech building of hulls and vessels now looks awesome and very strong!! I have to have a self bailing deck with rubber flap covered scuppers because the huge rolling white cap seas where I fish are just so rough most of the time.!!! Kona of course is big game pelagic fishing mecca where the high volcano slopes block the prevailing trade winds and create a huge Lee of flat calm water for miles!!! Where I fish, very few boats go but the fishing is incredible and when it really gets good its world class but extremely dangerous and rough!!!! Aloha from beautiful Hawaii D.L
I bet the fishery is incredible. We have spoken about going that way to try the fishery. The beauty of the island is a site to see so couple that with fishing it makes for a great trip. I appreciate all the support!
That wahoo fishing looks awesome!!! I’m learning the offshore fishing here on the southeast coast of NC. I have some friends that do well here catching them but I think I need to upgrade my boat for more confidence out there! Appreciate the content, Clay! Also, hope Stephanie is doing well and can’t wait to see your family enjoying that 39 Front Runner! Prayers for you all
It was a great day out on the water. Best of luck with fishing on the Southeast coast of NC! You can always hitch a ride with friends for the wahoo bite :). Thanks so much! Everyone is doing well, thanks for checking in.
As a Jax resident and fisher, you were in the most beautiful city in the US….wish I knew you were here, I would taken to another awesome sit-down eatery. After a full day of coastal fishing tho, first…lol..congrats on the new arrival, and congrats on a baby too! Lolololol. Enjoy the boating family.
I'm new to this channel, so I don't know if this is a video y'all have already made but if not could you make a video on how to properly clean a boat please? Could you discuss topics such as how fast you should clean a boat after it leaves salt water, what parts are important to dry off first, what products to use to clean it (for instance, do you use all-purpose cleaner or soap to clean blood spots), and maybe some tips on how to prevent or get rid of smells?
Coosa coring changed the game from having to worry about rot damage. Because it doesn’t matter how well you seal the holes from transducers and cleats etc. water will eventually get in and with coosa coring you don’t have to worry about it.
The cinematic production of your vids is captivating. Been here since early on and just want to say congrats on your growth and growing family. I felt the pain at 30:24 watcing that fish tear the upholstry.
By the time you were catching the wahoo’s… your editing and background music really started “Realing in” my attention. Great Job, those Front Runner boats are awesome!
I've had the pleasure of fishing on a 33 Front Runner a few times in rough weather and I was very impressed with the ride. It was super comfortable and the build quality was very heavy duty. The only thing I would add to the boat only because I'm not super tall would be a fold down helm step to give me more visibility. If it's an option, I would definitely have them build one for you.
They're very impressive. The times we have been out on the water when it was rough, it handled very well. They may be able to make adjustments. Appreciate the support!
I am a fan of the channel. I live right down the street from Mayo Clinic and Love Dock Side seafood. We are there often on our boat which is at Palm Cove Marina across the intracoastal marina.
Hi Clay I met you guys at the flea market in the keys in February Came in with my wife Susy and I got shirts and hats Wow you had made a perfect way to go on your boat coming next!! That’s is no specific how to explain in words the Front Runner !!! Wow Amazing I can’t wait to have one of those one day. I tell you what I will love to get a shirt from a FRONT RUNNER to start with that!! Can you please send me how to get one or buy it. I will really appreciate it Perfect selection you did. I can’t wait to have one of those one day !!!
We appreciate you coming out to see us then. Thanks so much! I'm sure they will hook you up with swag when you get a frontrunner. I wish you all the best, they're great boats.
Thats pretty awesome. Thanks for sharing. I need a boat that can be duel purpose for diving and family. Cant afford that one yet but it helps me keep looking for what I need until I can. Again thanks for sharing.
I just found your channel, and I don't know if you've made a video on this already, but if you haven't, could you make a video on how you wash your boat please? Could you discuss topics such as how fast you should start washing off your boat after it leaves salt water, what parts of the boat are most important to dry off with first, what products to use when cleaning the boat (for example, do you use all-purpose cleaner or soap to clean blood spots), and maybe some tips on how to prevent or get rid of bad smells and mold
I think the front runner boat the 47 footer is a nice boat one of the best boat I have seen I just wish I had the money to get one I would love to show off and most of all to fish from I would really love to own that boat but for me it's just a dream 😂😂
@@LifeByTheBow thanks for the reply. Yall are awsome. Venice la is where its at. Just have radar though because it is very foggy but well worrh it. They dont call it the fishing capital of the world for nothing lol
This boat company is a mile from my house, so glad he is growing a great business; P.S., I live 2 houses down from the Shand's Pier boat ramp when you take it for a spin !!
Love the channel and can't wait to see your baby girl when she arrives. Congrats on the new build. Silly question - what are your shoes? My husband wants some. He loves your Avail shorts btw.
Thanks so much! The shoes in the factory we bought at Nordstrom, however the shoes on the boat are made by Vessi. Pretty sweet because they’re waterproof!
Love how he mentions the employee's more than a few times. Good dude.
Great guy! Thanks for watching.
Looks like that wahoo took I bite of the upholstery!
Oh it did! Lol
it did. Luckily frontrunner has in house upholstery. Thanks for watching!
@@LifeByTheBow That, and a new 39 is an even trade off😂. That’s part of fishing. Congrats on the new boat.
You beat me to it! I was going to comment the same. Good eye! 😂 If it can do that to upholstery, it can do that to skin.
I speak fish he said "Oh no I'm dying... hey nice upholstery, oh so soft!". ;
This company is building some top notch boats. The owners 47 is just plain SICK!!!!!!!!
Couldn't agree more. Thanks for watching!
I love that boat . Can’t wait until your build is done so you can share it with us . That is super cool to be able to have it built for the comfort of your growing family . Love your videos

The cameras! Clearest images I can ever remember viewing. The 47 footer footage looked like CGI cruisng across the Ocean. Wow!

I was saying the same thing! Amazing footage!

Yeah, I couldn't agree any more. Frontrunner has is down to a science.
Great time and great video Clay. Can't say how much I enjoy all of your content.
Much appreciated Steve!
The cinematic production of your vids is captivating. Been here since early on and just want to say congrats on your growth and growing family. I felt the pain at 30:24 watcing that fish tear the upholstry.
Thank you for your continued support! We wouldn't be here without you. Yes, it happens but luckily they have upholstery in house.
Beautiful lines, looks rock solid and the finish is very nice.
Thank you so much!
that first wahoo took a bite out of the lounge seat!! :)
Good thing Front Runner has in house upholstery! 😬
I'm looking forward to own a 24 in the future.... Beautiful machine
Nice video as always, and beautiful boat. Cant wait to see the new boat on the channel. Ignore the haters, and keep pushing foward.
Thanks, will do! We appreciate you.
Another GREAT episode…wow!! Best than a cup of coffee to start Sunday 😃
Thank you so much!
By the time you were catching the wahoo’s… your editing and background music really started “Realing in” my attention. Great Job, those Front Runner boats are awesome!
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the edit!
Those boats are freaking amazing, awesome.
They are! Thanks so much for watching!
Congratulations on the baby
Thank you!
Love the stuff guys looking forward to see the baby
Thanks so much! Same here.
I’m a fan of Boston whaler but I just started seeing this videos boy I just started like the Front Runner Boats 😊
Yesssssss!!!! I guessed it. I know Phil he is a good guy
Yes he is! Thanks so much!
I am a fan of the channel. I live right down the street from Mayo Clinic and Love Dock Side seafood. We are there often on our boat which is at Palm Cove Marina across the intracoastal marina.
Thanks so much Jamie! hopefully we will see you soon out on the waters.
Hi Clay

Can you please send me how to get one or buy it.
I will really appreciate it
Perfect selection you did.
I can’t wait to have one of those one day !!!
We appreciate you coming out to see us then. Thanks so much! I'm sure they will hook you up with swag when you get a frontrunner. I wish you all the best, they're great boats.
@30:29 wahoo nicked the nice upholstery!!
Noticed that too
It happens but that's why frontrunner has in house upholstery. Thanks for watching!
Those boats are Beasts!
They sure are!
Nice job Dominick can't wait to watch your next adventure on the water

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Beautiful boats, beautiful Wahoo, great video. Ummmm, where’s Stephanie?? 😉
She was pregnant during this trip so decided to stay back.
Love my 36 Front Runner dude! Enjoy.
Glad to hear! We can't wait to get our hands on ours to see what it can do out on the Ocean.
Cool to see you went to Dockside Restaurant. We’re local and Dockside is also one of our favorites. Grilled shrimp and fried okra. Yum!
Love it! Glad we could include some of your Howe town favorites.
Great video Clay! As always your camera work is on point.
Much appreciated! Thanks for watching!
This factory is insane, awesome looking boats 🔥
It really is! Glad you enjoyed it. 😊
Dude I love your videos and your life😂 I’m 14 and wanna be just like you!! Keep it up!!
Thanks so much! Wishing you all the best!
Thats pretty awesome. Thanks for sharing. I need a boat that can be duel purpose for diving and family. Cant afford that one yet but it helps me keep looking for what I need until I can. Again thanks for sharing.
Thank you. We really enjoy our bay boat that allows us to do a lot when the weather is nice. Best of luck finding the right boat for you.
Welcome to the channel! I appreciate the suggestions. We have done a cleaning video in the past. We love to use salt away products on our boats.
30:23 😂 gotta patch that hole
Good thing upholstery is in house. 😊
@@LifeByTheBowthey should probably offer more longer lasting fabric options
Great episode! Now looking at Front Runner!👍👍

I think the front runner boat the 47 footer is a nice boat one of the best boat I have seen I just wish I had the money to get one I would love to show off and most of all to fish from I would really love to own that boat but for me it's just a dream 😂😂
It is a beast of a boat. I don't think a 47 is in my horizon any time soon. Best wishes to you!
Congrats on the new boat. You get that Front Runner down there in the Keys. I think you are going to drive some business their way.
Thank you so much! We hope so.
I can't wait until y'all can do a Bahamas trip on the new boat when it's finished😄
Neither can we. Hopefully this June. Thanks for watching!
Interesting stuff...loved the tech stuff on building a boat
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it.
incredible boat and wahoo!
Need to try venis la. Wahoo bite is awsome. Fish the lunp and hand on when the rod goes off. We do it in 21ft boat. Lol saves gas too
We will give it a try! Thanks for watching 😊
Maybe you’ll see me out there! Thanks for the support.
Beautiful Boats & Neat People.😊

KILLER EDIT!!!!!!!!!
Thanks so much!
@@LifeByTheBow Thanks so much!
Awesome program guys!
Thanks so much!
