First off, let me say how sorry I am that you are sick. However, that pot of soup you made was wonderful, and your new cozy living environment is perfect. I am sure you will be on the mend soon. The camper really does suit you and i love to see you getting settled in. ❤.
I am glad you have a new home, but there is something important you need to know. Most travel trailers with water systems are not designed to be used in winter months with constant below freezing temperatures! You really should drain and winterize your water system or it will freeze and destroy your water system!!!”😮” If you are not going to move it and desperately need your water system functioning. The only way you can is to put an insulated skirt between the bottom of the trailer and the ground and heat under and inside the trailer. NOTE if the heat ever goes out your water system will freeze and cause extreme damage! I hope this knowledge is helpful for you, good luck!
I didn't share my plans on how I plan to winterize this camper while living in it in this video, but I do appreciate the insights. I've wintered in a couple of rvs before (while also traveling from location to location), so I totally agree with your comment about freezing pipes. 😉 That would be a not so fun situation.
Hi Nat Great to see you posted another video. Hopefully, the next one is longer You had the biggest smile and we’re so happy about having a shower a bathroom. It’s gotta be nice to have a sink brush your teeth this new camper you have is perfect for you. Best of luck with everything and hope to see a new video real soon.
Your camper looks very warm, cozy and inviting. I hope you feel secure and happy with it. The Northern lights looked nice, that’s something I always wanted to see.
I'll try not to bore you with a lengthy comment this time but I want to thank you for sharing your new home with us. You've done an awesome job acclimating to your new home and life changes. Again, great job and thank you!! Stay strong and safe.
Nat, you are an inspiration. I know the last few months have been tough. You've dealt with a bad camper, the loss of Agron, and a lot more. I'm glad you have Pike. He's such a good boy, but I know he is missing his friend. You are both just trying to find joy in the world, and you do. I love the new camper and I'm so glad you have found a good home. The A frame always made me nervous. And I was super concerned for you while you were dealing and surviving during those troubling times. You relied on God and that's important. I think He has great things in store for you. Just know that you and Pike are in my prayers, and I look forward to your adventures and growth. Much love, Chris.
Love your new little cozy, comfortable home on wheels Nat! So nice to have a bathroom! The bed is big enough for you and Pike to be comfortable too. That soup looked so good! I never thought of making soup like that. Great....now I have a craving for cookies but I'm out of luck. Til next time, hugs to Pike!
I hope you and Pike feel better, Nat! 🙏 I don’t eat sugar or flour but I wish your video had smellovision because baked goods smell so good! 😊❤ I’m sure the soup and cookies were so comforting. Sending hugs and prayers.
What a great video and a sweet home. I loved the cookie baking while watching The Great British Bake Off show. Interesting dinner, but it looks like it helped you get to feeling better.
I wasn’t not a big sweet eater up until a few years back. I had to stop watching the Bake Off show because I felt so deprived after watching.🙃Nice that you had your cookies. My daughter bake some premade cookie dough yesterday at our family gathering and they tasted heavenly.Congratulations on your new home🎉Looks comfy & cozy 🦦
I pray you get better Nat. Your Casita is so pretty . I am glad you and Pike have a place to rest , sleep and cook. Love the northern lights too thank you. You taught me how to make soup quick and easy. I am fixing to go buy the same ingredients right now. Awesome video many Gods blessings to you and Pike where ever you two may go and do. 🩷😊
I LOVE YOUR TINY CAMPER!!!! i have a 20 ft Rpod. YOU ACTUALLY HAVE MORE ROOM AND MORE STORAGE. I HAVE 1 DRAWER. :( You have a great kitchen...i have NEVER used mine..i cook outdoors in a tent.
How old is Pike, he looks in really good shape and I'm guessing he's older. I lost my shepherd at 14 yrs 8 mos old..it's been 10 yrs but I still miss him. The Casita is an awesome RV. If I was in freezing temps, I think I'd winterize all the water systems and use gallon jugs. I don't see how you could keep the water lines/tanks from freezing. I know towing can be a pain, but being able to stand up and have a kitchen, bathroom, large bed is a good trade off....and, most importantly, Pike seems to enjoy it. You made me laugh when you made that 2nd batch of cookies! Hope you are feeling better.
I'm probably going to end up doing that depending on where I land. If I stay in Washington, I might have a spot to hook up occasionally, so it'll all depend. I also have an idea about going back to Colorado. Who knows! But I definitely plan to blow out the tanks and use my water jug if I don't have a way to heat the underbelly. Thank you for brainstorming with me! Pike is about 9 years old. He's a rescue so im not sure but his adoption bday is November 9th. 🤗 These doggies are a big part of our lives. It's the same as losing a close human family member, in my opinion.
You are so blessed and I am so happy for you! Praying for you daily, pray for my husband and I we are going through the same kind of trials you went through. But we are trusting and obeying God cause there’s no other way.
It's been tough. I'm actually facing a hard decision with Pike. We've been in and out of the vets office for the last two weeks. I'm not sure what's going to happen. We went from losing agron straight into dealing with pike's health. I should know more about the next steps tomorrow.
@NatMoran I am so sorry to hear that 😩 Keeping everything crossed for you both. What a time you're having. I am also losing my beloved doggy. Not sure how long we have together but making every day count. You are an amazing mum to your pups 🥰
Hey there my friend… needed that laugh about your chamber pot? Anyway another great video and glad your enjoying the casita. I just got back from tacopa??? The background music was perfect!! Stay safe and god bless… ric from nor cal
I know I'm going to catch a lot of slack for this comment, but a Mr. Heater buddy heater is a quick and easy solution for some heat.... if you need it. Anywho, I pray you are well, and may God bless you on all your travels ❤
I am obsessed with your new cozy home! I love the vibe you created 🧡 what is it about GBBO and then needing sweets?! I’m the same. I also really want make a Bakewell tart even though I have no idea what that is in reality 😂
@@NatMoranNat, I've never owned a Casita or any RV without a heater. I've heard good things about diesel heaters as @812taco stated. Please invest in a CO2 monitor so you're safe. Make sure to open cabinets around water tanks/lines so you don't have freeze breaks. Great new home for you. Hang tough, your faith seems to help you.
It looks like you are going to have everything you need once done moving in. Way more room and standing up everywhere is huge in my book compared to theM?? A frame. How long is the Casita body minus trailer tongue? You have to get some form of heat in there tho.....you aren't gonna like no heat.....frozen pipes and tanks.....nada...nope! Thank you. We are in the thick of some adjustments with the Pike situation. I hope to know more tomorrow but it's scary! As for the time change... I didn't even realize this AM! I'm just glad my phone auto changed. It's 545 and I'm ready for bed. 😐 😅🤣
6:00 - Nat, what are you making for soup? Just a carton of vegetable broth, and is that a can of mixed vegetables or stewed tomatoes, and some pasta? I love that. Would be interested in seeing more of your cooking recipes or meals you do on the road. I'm interested what went into that soup. It looks simple yet delicious. And air frying zucchini? What is that like? What does that look like or taste like? Do you put any seasoning on it later? I'm curious and interested in learning more. Thanks for sharing and for letting me share. Hope you are feeling better soon.
Haha I'm pretty basic. Definitely not known for my cooking skills. I usually just make things that are easy and boring 😅 I'll try to keep that in mind though! My mom didn't like my soup skills but she has to love me, so... 😅
@@NatMoran - Nat, I'm sure your cooking skills are great. You don't have to be a world famous chef, you just have to cook foods you like, and that soup actually looked and sounded pretty good. Sometimes simple things are better than complex things. I think you did a great job. :-)
