You deserved the present and I am sure the integrity of the video is the reason they gifted you the item. They knew that you would value it and that sort of publicity is priceless! Thank you for the video!
Love that Floyd wanted to gift you this couch because you basically convinced me with your initial review that I needed one 🤩 it is absolutely STUNNING!
Hey! It's a green marble coffee table I found at a consignment store! If you have any mid-century modern second-hand shops, that might be your best bet for finding something similar.
I’m waiting on mine that I purchased thanks to help from you and your first vid :) It said 8-9 weeks for shipping when I ordered and I’m almost at 6. Hoping I don’t run into any delays! 🤞🏻
My estimated time was 7-8 weeks. I'm currently on week 11 and it hasn't shipped yet. 😭 Apparently there's a fabric shortage causing a delay. Their customer support team is helpful though, at least.
Which color did you order? When I told them I was in love with the sand color they had mentioned that was their more popular one so if that's what you ordered, the fabric delay would make sense. Hang in there! I waited for my crate and barrel couch for 6 months! lol
The one in the living room is in the color oat and we have the smaller version in sand in our game room. I actually prefer the sand color, it holds up much better to wrinkles for some reason. But both are great. Only issue is they're hard to vacuum since the fabric is pretty loose. So I've been using a link roller to pick up fur and dush lol. We also have a dyson so it might be too powerful for this kinda fabric.
Hi, I'm thinking about getting this sofa and I think your comment section is really helping me figure it out! Wanted to ask you if you have any issues with the cracks between the couch modules while sitting on it- is it noticeable/uncomfortable? Or does it push apart at all if you move around on it?
Hi there! I sit in the middle of two modules in our game room often and they never move on me and is just as comfortable. So far, my only gripe is that the oat color (in this 3 piece sectional) is much more finicky than the sand color in our game room. For some reason, the sand fabric is much easier to maintain after getting up. Less wrinkles, bounces back easily and overall much less maintenance required.
Thanks for the video I’m trying to order and having a hard time finding that exact configuration could you provide me specifics so we can order one as well thank you so much !
I thought our first couch was going to be a pain cleaning but it wasn't too bad - but that's also because we barely sat on it lol so we shall see 😭. I did find a product that works wonders... Folex on amazon. Gets almost any stain out, its like magic!
How kool that Flloyd gave you a couch Happy for you 🙂 . One thing I don't like about your Floyd couch is that the back is waaaay too low for me, being vsry tall. I need support for my shoulders, neck and head 👎🏼 😉. Prefer that the arms be about a foot higher. Luv that the couch appears deep, so could work for wide body frames. 😋. I will be checking out Floyd's. 😉🙂 to see what else they have and what others have to say about this company.
Hello, Is Chenille a good choice fabric for a sofa? I understand it soft and durable, yet I hear it can be warm to sit on. I like cooler fabrics, yet hear it is also breathable so might be a good choice for keep me warmer in winter and cooler in summer. Does this sound true for Chenille fabric?
Hey, I checked the website and didn't see a Chenille option? The performance fabric I have, I really like and stains come off a breeze with folex. It keeps me cool in the summer and warm at night. The only negative thing about it is my dyson is too strong for the fabric and I don't want to damage it so I have been using a lint roller to "vacuum" it.
I just found your channel because I'm looking for a comfy, deep couch and after searching far and wide, I think I may have found it! I absolutely adore your channel and have now been binging your videos! haha Your dogs are the cutest! Thank you for sharing this information! 💕
Hi, what is name of the color? Is that Oat? Also, the back of the sofa looks super low, does that bother you at all? Looks little uncomfortable. Thanks!
Hi there. It’s oat and in my other review that one is sand (linked in description). The back is low but it’s not meant to sit upright traditionally since it’s so deep, it’s definitely a lounging couch. I’m usually sitting Indian style on it, or laying any which way so the low back doesn’t bother me.
It is. Same with my previous couch from crate and barrel. Any deep couch will be the same. Almost impossible to be at a normal seated position with your back against the cushions and feet on the floor (unless you’re a giant lol)
@@WillCoane I do love it! I just have to reiterate though it’s high maintenance in that I fluff it after I get up to look good. Otherwise it will look super messy and my OCD can’t handle it 🤣
these couches are comffy at first but 1) they look awful once sat on 2) very hard to move around 3) no neck/back support, u have to always be slouched makes getting up impossible. and i had the real RH one. Gave it to my mom.
All valid feelings but I think this is a case where you purchase a product not intended for what you were going for... 1) Agree here and mentioned in my review that this couch is high maintenance. It's like a bed, needs to be fluffed and fixed every time but I do find the sand color isn't as bad as the oat. The fabric seems to deal with wrinkles much better. 2) I don't find it hard to move around for a deep couch 3) Plenty of back support but no neck, but it's a low deep lounge couch - I don't think neck support is intended. As far as I'm concerned, I don't think any couch has actual neck support, it would have such a high back. A recliner would be a great option for a sitting area with neck support.
I got this in green and I absolutely hate it. It took 13 weeks to get delivered and the color looks nothing like they advertise, it’s more of a mint green.
I work for an Interior Design Firm in LA. Sofas can be one of the most expensive furniture pieces clients buy. Quality is critical when purchasing a sofa (or anything) and you very definitely get what you pay for. Brands like Pottery Barn, RH, Crate and Barrel, West Elm, etc, mass produce sofas that are poor quality. They use low grade wood and the springs, fill, lining, seams, are also lower quality and the units simply dont last. In a word, they are disposable. There is a tremendous amount of work that goes into making a good sofa and they are hand made. However that sofa will also last many, many years. So while you may initially spend 10 or 15 grand or more on a sofa, you will have it a very long time and it will hold up. The sofas from the brands I mentioned will give you a few years tops, depending on use. Our clients always regret going the cheap route with sofas as they always have to repurchase after a short period, so they end up spending more. The first things to go are seams, followed by frame breaks. So, buy cheap, buy twice. When furnishing a home, I always encourage clients to not buy everything new and to avoid as much as possible the brands I mentioned above. They are the fast fashion equivalents of the furniture world. They make things look good in their spaces, but the real world product is another story. Plus, why have what everyone else has? There are so many smaller makers, vintage furniture sellers, etc that will get you a thing not every one has, and be potentially better quality. Supporting independent makers is important as is not generating waste by buying disposable things.
Totally get it. Even I cant afford what I try to sell to clients. It was more about thinking outside the box, educating yourself about what you buy, and supporting independent makers. @@BruceWayne-eh4im

Same here. After watching his review, I'm almost sure this is my couch. Just nervous about the depth and price.
I 100% like the look of the first sofa better than this one. But I’m happy that you’re happy.
Omg I love that sofa even your old one was nice very good taste
thank you!

where did you get your shirt?
The red one? Got it from ASOS a long time ago (it was an oversized sleeveless). It was a bit long so I ended up cutting about 1.5" off the bottom.

5k for polyester😮💨 todays market is trash..
Thanks for the engagement. Best of luck.
I think the angle you shot this video makes it look Obscenely Deep...the brief side view was a bit more tamed... Enjoy it,... looks good 👍
Its a bed in the living room, it has no function. Way too deep, barely any sort of back support.
Thanks for letting me know you're preference for a couch. Super helpful lol.
They are at 2.2 stars out of 5 on google. Not giving my money to company with crappy customer service
Dang, they really took care of me on my first order when some things didn't go well. Sorry to hear others aren't getting great customer service.
I'm sad watching from the UK lol
lol I’m assuming they don’t ship there? 😭
