  • It's time to start on the interior cabinetry, a step I have been looking forward to for a long time. The interior build is an exciting step because you finally get to see the designs for your home come together. By the time you're done, you're sitting in the space that you've thought so hard about for so long. We are super stoked on this interior build and how it's come together. After months of design, consideration and redesign we have finally landed on an interior space that really suits our needs. Watch as I transform this empty shell into a rolling home of our dreams!

10:49 What an incredible environment to work on beautiful Betty! You both look amazing, Betty with her spiffy paint job and amazing cabinetry and you with your muscles from all of that labor that you’ve put into Betty. Alex, thanks for posting this great content, you’ve got great skills.

I'm in awe of your cabinet work -- looks really good!!
I'm sure your dishes aren't the "breakable" variety, however I'm gonna suggest you install some semi-elastic netting in front of your dish-rack, with a disconnect at one end to make taking dishes in or out easy while preventing them from going flying while driving. You probably already thought of that tho...
Thanks for showing us your set-up and work, Alex!
    Cheers!...from North Vancouver

Hey Adrian, thanks for tuning in again! The dishes are indeed non breakable, bamboo actually. The dish rack is actually made so everything "locks" in. I could shake it vigorously and nothing would fall out. BUT, I will likely add an elastic "seat belt" if I find I need it. Thanks again for watch my dude! 😁

Heyyy Mitchell! Honestly, I hate fibreglass. I personally want a wood boat although I know the amount of work those come with is especially high.

Hey, thank you so much! Unfortunately this all came straight from the noggin to the van. I don’t make blueprints or plans for my personal builds, just when I’m doing client builds to aid in planning.

Tools go in the storage under the bed. The two of us have actually been driving and living together in the van for over a year and a Meg took the van to the Yukon and multiple multi month trips throughout BC prior to meeting me. We drove to Baja and did piles of rough Baja Miles as well as finding many overland routes throughout the western US. Collectively, the van has likely done around 80,000km with little to no issues. Zero engine issues, zero structural issues. I’m quite happy with the ol’delivery van actually and now it looks cool to boot! Thanks for watching!😁
