My favorite thing to do outdoors? I love to listen to the birds, the wind breeze, the rustle of leaves, the smells of summer doing whatever I’m doing outside, savoring every moment… we only get 2 months of it. I’ll take what I can get! Purple would be my preference 😊
My favorite thing to do outside is listen to the birds in the early morning while I drink my coffee. I love all the colors the bottle bottles come in. So if I’m randomly selected I would be happy with the color you choose. Love your van design most.
I have great news for you. You don't have to gut your van to fix your floor. Unless you walk around under your cabinets, all you have to do is put the thicker plywood in the visible areas and fasten it down. Then put your new flooring over that. You may have to re-adjust any lower cabinet doors so they can open and close freely. Great video. I have the exact same van as you that I did my build out in.
For my favorite thing to do outside...I like to make walking sticks out of fallen branches...and sit and watch everything...to the tiny bug, bird in the sky, branches swaying in the breeze, deer walking by...my favorite...is to feel the rain.
My favorite thing is hiking in the woods with my teenage son looking for mushrooms to photograph, The time with him is priceless, We travel full time me my husband and our son. We are living our best life. Also I loved the tour of your Van. If randomly chosen I would love the cream colored one. The bottom of the bottle is a really cool feature.

I know I've said it before, but I just have to say it again - Maddie! There is no van in any van build video as amazing as yours! The aesthetic, the soft colors, the hominess, the fact that you can just tell it's yours - I just love it! And don't worry about the tape on the floor and stuff like that - it's character and memories, and it all happened because you dared to step out into the world and journey! Think of the cracks and kinks as souvenirs! :) When it comes to the bottles, I love to garden and work outside. I'm a teacher, so in the summers when I'm not working on curriculum or doing the daily mom thing, I work in the yard and garden as much as possible. I would choose the green b/c it's my favorite color! I don't want to take up too much of your time with a huge long comment here, so next time I'll tell you about this book I think you should add to your collection :) Safe travels, and snuggle Eliza for us all!

One of the things that I like about the inside of your van are the colors. It's all different shades of earth tones. (Browns, tans, greens (plants), etc. When it comes to colors, especially in a living space, I like the different Earth tones Colors. When I first moved into my current home, my bedroom was all one color, a cream color, and it drove me nuts. By the time I finished decorating my room with the things I've collected over the years, I felt so much better and now that I look at it, it's all Earth tones. 😊

My favorite thing to do outdoors....gardening! I haven't been able to in a couple of years though due to time restrictions and a hurt knee. But I'm slowly getting back into it! Thanks so much for doing a giveaway....those bottles are such pretty colors! And I still think you have the nicest van overall. I would do the convertible bed arrangement too. It's so important not to feel all claustrophobic.

My favorite out door activity, whether I am on a hike or camping or just spending the day in the mountains, is to sit and just listen for about 20 to 30 minutes. Hi Maddie, loved your Van build update video. The one thing I love doing outdoors, each and every day is breathing in the fresh air and including a thank you to God for allowing me the opportunity to be included in a new day. I’m not in need of a water bottle as I too live in my Ram Promaster and I am continuing to master downsizing. One suggestion I have for your bathroom area is the toilet paper holder that I found at Target in the Magnolia Home and Hearth area. The holder is iron the stem holds 3 rolls of toilet paper. Thanks for the tips as I'm planning and researching into building out a van as a tall woman with dogs. My favourite thing to do outdoors is spending time in forests with my dogs. It may even be boring for some but I'm very much a slow mover or just plop down onto the ground and just enjoy the sounds and photograph the small and wild things nature surrounds me with. I adore water, so if it's raining its an ultimate bonus!! I'd prefer the purple bottle as I love the colour and size but wouldn't mind the blue one as a close colour favourite :P
Floor - Using closed cell foam would help in not compressing. You may want to cut the floor out up to your cabinets and appliances, replace all of that, then use a small 1/4 round trim on the edges.
Your van is definitely one of the nicest I've seen. Spaciousness and versatility are key. My favorite thing to do outdoors is taking walks in the county and state parks in my area. The trails are so beautiful and I truly find my peace when surrounded by Nature. I also love to kayak, slow river and lake kayaking, no white rapids for me, lol. Nothing makes me feel more present than being on the water. As for the give away, I'd love the smallest size water bottle. Thanks, Maddie, for another great video!
I live in my van too… my favourite outdoor activity is practising my fire spinning! In the park or at the beach. I get so lost in the fire dance 🥰 All the water bottles look amazing, I’d be happy with whatever! Lovely video this week
Hi Maddie. I have been watching your videos almost since the beginning of your journey and I have really enjoyed following you on your adventures. I have severe mobility issues so outdoor physical activities are pretty much non existent. But I love nature and am blessed with a home with loads of windows and loads of greenery outside. I live in a very hot climate so my favorite thing is to sit bedside the beach and watch the waves, the sky and being grateful for all my blessings. Keeping hydrated is so important and one of your bottles would be wonderful. The blue reminds me of the ocean. Keep posting, we all love them...and your bloops. Thank you.
Maddie there is a van traveler I watch,she bought a small freezer cooler n has it connected to her jackery she freezes her cooler packs to keep her cooler cool. Her name is Lulu. She also bulged her van out. I love to hammock n listen to nature. My favorite color is mauve. Be safe n 😊 on the road!

my favorite thing to do out in nature is just to be out in nature... breathe the air, get a lil dirty, take off the shoes, etc. Also, accomplishing something that i didn't think I could do (climbing, a tough hike, cliff jumping) is something that makes me so happy, especially when all of nature gets to see how good I did too! I love your videos, and I've been watching them for about a year and a half now!!! it's so cool to see you grow creatively, I feel like we would be very good friends

Nice! You can add an "Afterburner" thermostat controller to the diesel heater to maintain a constant temperature! Also, I picked up a second 8L freezer for $200. Tiny but you can make ice + ice cream yum

My friend owned a few acres of land in a secluded area away from everything. I remember cooking outside and sitting under a beautiful starlit sky at night and felt that I could just sit there like that forever. As far as which water bottle, white.
My favorite activity to do outside is camping because it opens up the opertunity to do so many other things that I like to do like hiking, canoeing, photography, wildlife viewing, etc. I like blue or green but I'm not picky, any color will do. 😊

It was one of your older videos, when you were still building out your van. I watched a few more and I’ve been hooked ever since. Ok, 1st my favorite thing to do outside is work in the yard. - Mowing, trimming, hedging, clearing, cutting trees and hauling the limbs and wood to the back of the property. - Because of my medical problems, I can no longer work from sunup until sundown. Now, it's more like 20 minutes at a time. -- I use to love hiking, and repelling, and biking, and even white-water rafting. ----- 2nd, I just wanted to thank you for this video. I'm doing it alittle differant, will be pulling a small ( 15' or so) camping trailer that I will be customizing. This will be my next chapter after a 20 yr marriage raising 3 children and doing the whole family experience. I love the tour and update, and the honesty that you use about everything. I love biking and existing near water, there's a lake my family always goes to in the summer that I adore. The grey one is probably my pick of the tree due to its neutral nature, but they're all gorgeous.

Always find it fascinating how little belongings we really need to live everyday life. I'm in a in-law unit one big room (which servers as my bedroom living room & dining room) small bathroom & kitchen. Small spaces really keep u in check with not accumulating "stuff". I love hiking in the Redwood forests of NorCal. My favorite trail - Damnation Creek - is just south of Mill Creek Campground in Del Norte County. Known for its 'God Rays' that seep down through the needles of the old growth redwoods and illuminate rhododendrons and ferns on the forest floor; this trail puts me in touch with my Creator. Try to be there in May-June when the rhodies are in bloom; it's a riot of pinks! Damnation Creek's terminus is a spectacular view of and access to a secluded beach accessible only during low tide. Tide tables and timing are crucial for the full experience. Trillium, Douglas Iris and a myriad of other wildflower species dot the bluffs at the terminus and line the trail throughout. I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for my life and this experience every time I hike this trail! Either of the 32 oz bottles would be grand but I'd be happy with the larger Bottle Bottle as well. Thanks for showing us all around your van - your video was great, as they all are! I spend as much time outside as I can, either fishing on some of the great lakes and ponds in Maine, or working in my garden. And I always try to have a water bottle close by, so a blue 32oz would be perfect. If you ever travel to the east coast and need a place to stay, we have a lovely spot along the river just waiting for you!

The thing is Maddie, how much bottle has a bottle bottle bottle got if we all too often hydrate, floors would be slippier from all the escapes and might get in a state, if with the bottle bottle bottle drinking lets us with water inflate

I have watched a lot of van life videos and one thing I just can't get over is how much heavy materials everyone uses. Hardwood floors not only on the floors but wood siding and wood ceilings... and home kitchen cabinets... It's like constantly carrying extra several hundred pounds. I would probably do linoleum or at least planks that are way lighter.

My absolute favorite thing is to go slacklining and picnic in a park. Purple and green are my favorite colors. I love spotting them in the outdoors

I would just add a 1" thick OSB particle board over the top of your floor ( use the sanded sealed one) cut just the area you need

Your van showed me that I need more drawers in mine to stay organized. When I’m outdoors I like to hike, read and do some quilting.

Floor - Using closed cell foam would help in not compressing. You may want to cut the floor out up to your cabinets and appliances, replace all of that, then use a small 1/4 round trim on the edges.
Your van is definitely one of the nicest I've seen. Spaciousness and versatility are key. My favorite thing to do outdoors is taking walks in the county and state parks in my area. The trails are so beautiful and I truly find my peace when surrounded by Nature. I also love to kayak, slow river and lake kayaking, no white rapids for me, lol. Nothing makes me feel more present than being on the water. As for the give away, I'd love the smallest size water bottle. Thanks, Maddie, for another great video!
I live in my van too… my favourite outdoor activity is practising my fire spinning! In the park or at the beach. I get so lost in the fire dance 🥰

Hi Maddie. I have been watching your videos almost since the beginning of your journey and I have really enjoyed following you on your adventures. I have severe mobility issues so outdoor physical activities are pretty much non existent. But I love nature and am blessed with a home with loads of windows and loads of greenery outside. I live in a very hot climate so my favorite thing is to sit bedside the beach and watch the waves, the sky and being grateful for all my blessings. Keeping hydrated is so important and one of your bottles would be wonderful. The blue reminds me of the ocean. Keep posting, we all love them...and your bloops. Thank you.

Maddie there is a van traveler I watch,she bought a small freezer cooler n has it connected to her jackery she freezes her cooler packs to keep her cooler cool. Her name is Lulu. She also bulged her van out.

my favorite thing to do out in nature is just to be out in nature... breathe the air, get a lil dirty, take off the shoes, etc. Also, accomplishing something that i didn't think I could do (climbing, a tough hike, cliff jumping) is something that makes me so happy, especially when all of nature gets to see how good I did too! I love the van! Don't worry about little cracks in the floor and ceiling. It's normal wear and tear, and every crack tells the story of another amazing adventure.

Nice! You can add an "Afterburner" thermostat controller to the diesel heater to maintain a constant temperature! Also, I picked up a second 8L freezer for $200. Tiny but you can make ice + ice cream yum

I think my love for nature began on a summer weekend that I spent in Maine as a teen. My friend owned a few acres of land in a secluded area away from everything. I remember cooking outside and sitting under a beautiful starlit sky at night and felt that I could just sit there like that forever.

It was one of your older videos, when you were still building out your van. I watched a few more and I’ve been hooked ever since. I’m 6‘1“ and have always wondered what van life is like for tall people. P.S. whenever you drop anchor in my home state (Colorado) it always puts a smile on my face.

Ok, 1st my favorite thing to do outside is work in the yard. - Mowing, trimming, hedging, clearing, cutting trees and hauling the limbs and wood to the back of the property. - Because of my medical problems, I can no longer work from sunup until sundown. Now, it's more like 20 minutes at a time. -- I use to love hiking, and repelling, and biking, and even white-water rafting. ----- 2nd, I just wanted to thank you for this video. I love the fact that you showed your van with the lived in look and all the regrets you have. I'm doing it alittle differant, will be pulling a small ( 15' or so) camping trailer that I will be customizing. This will be my next chapter after a 20 yr marriage raising 3 children and doing the whole family experience. I would say grilling/cooking is probably my favorite thing to do outside. I just love outdoor cooking, I will probably have an outdoor kitchen when i get a house, and I would definitely have an outdoor kitchen if I ever built a van. the green bottle would be great!

Always find it fascinating how little belongings we really need to live everyday life. I'm in a in-law unit one big room (which servers as my bedroom living room & dining room) small bathroom & kitchen. Small spaces really keep u in check with not accumulating "stuff".

I love hiking in the Redwood forests of NorCal. My favorite trail - Damnation Creek - is just south of Mill Creek Campground in Del Norte County. Known for its 'God Rays' that seep down through the needles of the old growth redwoods and illuminate rhododendrons and ferns on the forest floor; this trail puts me in touch with my Creator. Try to be there in May-June when the rhodies are in bloom; it's a riot of pinks! Damnation Creek's terminus is a spectacular view of and access to a secluded beach accessible only during low tide. Tide tables and timing are crucial for the full experience. Trillium, Douglas Iris and a myriad of other wildflower species dot the bluffs at the terminus and line the trail throughout. I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for my life and this experience every time I hike this trail!
Either of the 32 oz bottles would be grand but I'd be happy with the larger Bottle Bottle as well. Thank you, Maddie, for sharing your artistic gifts and your most excellent adventure - You Rock!
Thanks for showing us all around your van - your video was great, as they all are! I spend as much time outside as I can, either fishing on some of the great lakes and ponds in Maine, or working in my garden. And I always try to have a water bottle close by, so a blue 32oz would be perfect. If you ever travel to the east coast and need a place to stay, we have a lovely spot along the river just waiting for you!

I have watched a lot of van life videos and one thing I just can't get over is how much heavy materials everyone uses. Hardwood floors not only on the floors but wood siding and wood ceilings... and home kitchen cabinets... It's like constantly carrying extra several hundred pounds. I would probably do linoleum or at least planks that are way lighter.
