Wow, I'm impressed, I have the same van except a 2018, and I don't have that kind of creativity or skill set to make mine look like this. Beautiful! You can make a rope handle
Awesome Van! The van genre is a strange one. I always wave at fellow lifted vans and most don't even acknowledge me. But when someone is into it they really are into it.
Artists gotta do art!! That puzzled, inlaid buffalo is just beautiful. The entire build looks super and well thought out. Your tour was nice too. You explained things well, I felt like I was right there. You have a nice, calm voice that’s easy to listen to.
EXCELLENT BUILD! THIS IS THE SAME IDEA I HAVE FOR MY SOON BUILD OUT. NICE TO FINALLY SEE IT FOR REAL IN LIFE. THANK YOU! ALWAYS THUMBS UP! NEW SUB. FROM THE 641...
@@lolafalana3636 you know what I'm referring to though? I can't think of what I've seen them on but I know it's a thing lol. Hell, could even put a puck light on the inside of the cabinet door for more focused light in the kitchenette. Idk, just throwing out ideas you might not have thought of.
Those drawers in the back are brilliant ~ love all the wood work. You seem a really handy lady. Great work.😊 I really like this home on wheels & the video. P.S do you have a porta potty or similar? Safe journey
Wow I love your van! You are very talented artist and skilled carpenter. Love the different wood works. How long did it take you to convert the van if I may ask? Are those counter tops epoxy?
I'm just an average artist. Paint, draw, tattoo and started woodwork because I couldn't afford a carpenter. Built tables, benches, toyboxes, cabinets, etc, etc. Nothing extraordinary. Beginner woodwork stuff. I do like that buffalo. Glad I kept going on that. Thank you!
I tried using thin light wood when possible. I drove the van empty before starting the build. It still has the same get up and go now. I'm sure it affected my gas mileage a little, but I don't feel a difference at all.
Kim, I am curious. With the lift of your van, is this a 4X4 conversion or RWD only? The whole build looks really nice. I think you did very well with the buffalo inlay and the bear/fish painting. Nothing to dislike. When you mention 'Westinghouse 300', is that an inverter? Power station like a 'Jackery'? Would you consider mounting solar on the roof permanently? Great build out. I may be planning on getting an Express/GMC Safari extended length like yours. Maybe with the 4.8 liter or 5.3 liter engine....maybe the Duramax diesel engine, I don't know yet. It depends on the history of reliability of the engine. I am considering a 4x4 conversion, but happy to know traction control is standard. Another good point is the availability of towing a trailer if desired or necessary as you seem to do with your motorbikes as you mention. I have a couple, but they are road bikes and planning on getting a mid '90's BMW GS with Bing carbs to get offroad with. Time to make an excel sheet of needed items for a conversion.
Hi. It's rwd. The Westinghouse is an inverter like the Jackery. It only runs my fans and lights. The Jackery only runs my fridge. If I were to go Full-time, I would consider solar.
I have a 2001 Chevy Express. It's got some issues. I had given up on building it due to crazy gas prices, but I figure for the price of 1 night at a cheap motel ($100/night) I can get around 200 miles. I finished insulation and the sub floor. You have inspired me to continue with the project! And imagine I was going to switch to a minivan. How long is your bed from head to toe?
I wired it into 10foot cigarette lighter connectors (12 volt) . That way I could plug them into the Westinghouse 300 portable battery. 1st time doing that. I was surprised it worked.
It wouldn't work for you. I'm 5'9" and it's perfect for me. If I had to do it over again, I would have went length wise so I could put my arms over my head.
The lift was done by Weldtech Design. 5 inch lift. They put on new spindles and Fox shocks on all fours. New springs on the rear to handle the build weight. Method wheels. Zero offset. Nitto EXO Grappler AWT 285/70/17
The buffalo is amazing! This whole van is a work of art, great job, enjoy.
Thanks 👍

Awesome Van! The van genre is a strange one. I always wave at fellow lifted vans and most don't even acknowledge me. But when someone is into it they really are into it.
Very nice build.
Those back doors will open wider.
I had my van for a month before I figured out there was two door stop catch positions.
What wonderfully cozy and well thought out design and build. Love the weldtech lift. Thanks for sharing and hoping for safe and happy travels.

Thank you. You're right about artist. Into all kinds of art. Wish I knew how to weld though.
Great job! I’ve got a 2015 2500 that I built. Having a blast with it!
Thank you. Me too!
Great build ! I really like seeing what you have done with your van.

I clicked quickly because I Love Lola Falana, dancer extraordinaire.
Nice job , great van.
Thanks! 👍
BEAUTIFUL SET UP😍😍
Very nice build.
Well done! Just a thought, fornyour upper cabinets you could use those spings that bent in half or what have ya. Would hold the doors up.
I totally need them.

@That Guy I don't know the spring hinge but can look around. I will definitely be looking for something. I hate holding it open with my head. Lol
Great build hopefully soon I could build me one.🙂
Great work just subbed!!

Wow I love your van! You are very talented artist and skilled carpenter. Love the different wood works. How long did it take you to convert the van if I may ask? Are those counter tops epoxy?
Took about 6 months. After work and my vacations. I sid put epoxy on the counters. I get better at the epoxy each time I try it:)
LOVE this build but I gotta say the buffalo is more than amazing!!! What is your background to do all of this?
I'm just an average artist. Paint, draw, tattoo and started woodwork because I couldn't afford a carpenter. Built tables, benches, toyboxes, cabinets, etc, etc. Nothing extraordinary. Beginner woodwork stuff. I do like that buffalo. Glad I kept going on that. Thank you!
I like the quigley vans! Does all that wood add extra weight and use more gas or diesel when you travel?
I tried using thin light wood when possible. I drove the van empty before starting the build. It still has the same get up and go now. I'm sure it affected my gas mileage a little, but I don't feel a difference at all.

Gosh im just thinking about how much work, $ and time I have to put in my van to make it look like that uffff im already tire 🥵

It seems like the insulation takes forever before getting to the good stuff.
Wish I had your skills….
😘❤️👍
👍🏼👍🏼🇲🇽
Beautiful van, whats the size of the bed snd also whats the mpg ...??
Thanks Nicky.
Explain how you connected your fans. I’m assuming you don’t have a solar system. I really like your layout.
I wired it into 10foot cigarette lighter connectors (12 volt) . That way I could plug them into the Westinghouse 300 portable battery. 1st time doing that. I was surprised it worked.
DIY at it's finest...
Log cabin on wheels
Did you tint those windows yourself
Nice van! Curious what is the length of the bed from wall to wall? I am 5' 11" and curious if that design would work for me?
It wouldn't work for you. I'm 5'9" and it's perfect for me. If I had to do it over again, I would have went length wise so I could put my arms over my head.
Great work! Is the van 4WD, or just lifted?
Just lifted
Hey nice job just wondering what's the wheel size and tire size combo on your van
Thanks. Method wheels with Nitto Exo Grappler 285/70/R17
@@lolafalana3636 thank you
What is the lift?
coil spacers, spindles, or both?
Spindles and fox shocks. Weldtec Designs did the lift. New lead springs in the rear. Rides so nice!
@@lolafalana3636 cool. Looks nice
weldtec is down the street from me. I'll have to stop by his shop one of these days.
How much did you spend on the build?
I envy your shortness lmao.
Lol
How high are your cabinet tops?
Perfect height for when I sit on my little stool. I'll measure and let you know later.
That would be great. I’m building out the same van right now.
Is that a 4wd van? Looks awesome!
I wish it was 4 wheel drive! Just a 5 inch lift so I hopefully won't get high centered on camping trails.
@@lolafalana3636 Thanks for info! Cheers!
Beautiful.
What size lift? . Tires and wheels. Size and offset please.

@@lolafalana3636 Thank you very much! 👍 Sweet set up👍
Heyy how can I get you to help me with my express van
Hii Can u fully stand in the van?
No.
what are the dimensions of your bed?
It's whatever a full size memory foam mattress is. I stuffed it in there without any cutting of the mattress
Gorgeous van only downside to it is that disgusting government control mask hanging from the shifter
Totally agree!!!
Can't barely hear you
I would want a shower/ potty ❤️ and ✝️🛐 s
We have a potty and an outside shower.
I would love a tall van with all that but can't afford it.
and again no tool box=rip off mechanics--- please learn your rig and medium mechanic skills--- understand electricity- fuel and air syteme
Very nice 👍
