Those drawers in the back are brilliant ~ love all the wood work. You seem a really handy lady. Great work.😊 I really like this home on wheels & the video. P.S do you have a porta potty or similar? Safe journey
Kim, I am curious. With the lift of your van, is this a 4X4 conversion or RWD only? The whole build looks really nice. I think you did very well with the buffalo inlay and the bear/fish painting. Nothing to dislike. When you mention 'Westinghouse 300', is that an inverter? Power station like a 'Jackery'? Would you consider mounting solar on the roof permanently? Great build out. I may be planning on getting an Express/GMC Safari extended length like yours. Maybe with the 4.8 liter or 5.3 liter engine....maybe the Duramax diesel engine, I don't know yet. It depends on the history of reliability of the engine. I am considering a 4x4 conversion, but happy to know traction control is standard. Another good point is the availability of towing a trailer if desired or necessary as you seem to do with your motorbikes as you mention. I have a couple, but they are road bikes and planning on getting a mid '90's BMW GS with Bing carbs to get offroad with. Time to make an excel sheet of needed items for a conversion.
Hi. It's rwd. The Westinghouse is an inverter like the Jackery. It only runs my fans and lights. The Jackery only runs my fridge. If I were to go Full-time, I would consider solar.
Artists gotta do art!! That puzzled, inlaid buffalo is just beautiful. The entire build looks super and well thought out. Your tour was nice too. You explained things well, I felt like I was right there. You have a nice, calm voice that’s easy to listen to.
It wouldn't work for you. I'm 5'9" and it's perfect for me. If I had to do it over again, I would have went length wise so I could put my arms over my head.
Awesome Van! The van genre is a strange one. I always wave at fellow lifted vans and most don't even acknowledge me. But when someone is into it they really are into it.
Wow, I'm impressed, I have the same van except a 2018, and I don't have that kind of creativity or skill set to make mine look like this. Beautiful! You can make a rope handle
EXCELLENT BUILD! THIS IS THE SAME IDEA I HAVE FOR MY SOON BUILD OUT. NICE TO FINALLY SEE IT FOR REAL IN LIFE. THANK YOU! ALWAYS THUMBS UP! NEW SUB. FROM THE 641...
The lift was done by Weldtech Design. 5 inch lift. They put on new spindles and Fox shocks on all fours. New springs on the rear to handle the build weight. Method wheels. Zero offset. Nitto EXO Grappler AWT 285/70/17
I wired it into 10foot cigarette lighter connectors (12 volt) . That way I could plug them into the Westinghouse 300 portable battery. 1st time doing that. I was surprised it worked.
I have a 2001 Chevy Express. It's got some issues. I had given up on building it due to crazy gas prices, but I figure for the price of 1 night at a cheap motel ($100/night) I can get around 200 miles. I finished insulation and the sub floor. You have inspired me to continue with the project! And imagine I was going to switch to a minivan. How long is your bed from head to toe?
Knocked it out of the park! I love these vans and they perform so much better than the tall topped ones. Good job!
Beautiful van, whats the size of the bed snd also whats the mpg ...?? Thanks Nicky.
Oh my lawd! I'm in love with that van , WOW,JUST WOW! I wouldn't change one thing. You have a gift, for sure.
Well done! Beautiful build :)
Thank you! 😊
Very nice build. Those back doors will open wider. I had my van for a month before I figured out there was two door stop catch positions.

Gorgeous! and inspiring
Beautiful build, you are quite the craftwoman.
Nice van! Curious what is the length of the bed from wall to wall? I am 5' 11" and curious if that design would work for me?
It wouldn't work for you. I'm 5'9" and it's perfect for me. If I had to do it over again, I would have went length wise so I could put my arms over my head.
Did you tint those windows yourself

Gorgeous van only downside to it is that disgusting government control mask hanging from the shifter
Totally agree!!!
Can't barely hear you
Beautiful. What size lift? . Tires and wheels. Size and offset please.

Very nice ☺
Very nice! Awesome job! Congratulations!

Great work! Is the van 4WD, or just lifted?
Just lifted
Looks nice
Very nice build. Thank you for sharing you van home.
This is really nice
Loved seeing your Van build! Hoping to see you at TDS this year.
Heck ya!
Explain how you connected your fans. I’m assuming you don’t have a solar system. I really like your layout.
I wired it into 10foot cigarette lighter connectors (12 volt) . That way I could plug them into the Westinghouse 300 portable battery. 1st time doing that. I was surprised it worked.
what are the dimensions of your bed?
It's whatever a full size memory foam mattress is. I stuffed it in there without any cutting of the mattress

It seems like the insulation takes forever before getting to the good stuff.
Very nice build.
You did a great job on your van 🚐
The wood work is so gorgeous!
Heyy how can I get you to help me with my express van
