I just turned 21 and am completely financially independent! As a young adult I just don't use cash and finding a realistic budgeting system was hard for myself. I love this! Thank you so much!
Several years ago I tried the cash envelope method. I kept leaving the envelope at home and still over spending. What worked for me is to stick a post it to my card with my budget amount on it and deducting as I spent on the post it.
Don’t laugh at me. I printed out fake cash and put that in my envelopes. Then I just keep everything the same removing the “cash” I spent etc. my neighbor uses Monopoly money. Lol
Good call on the Monopoly money. I was going to try the cash envelopes but both the hubs and I prefer not carrying cash. That might be the perfect thing to do.
OMG I was thinking of doing this same exact thing. I have a money kit that I use to teach my kids about money, so I'm going to use that. I am so glad that I wasn't the only one thinking like this. 😍
I'm still using the cash envelope system with cash. It's just easier for me to maintain. Side note I started making my own cash envelopes as a side hustle!!
New subscriber here from Scotland! I love your channel, so relatable. I love the idea of cash envelopes/cash stuffing but you can’t use cash where I live. This video really helps me on my journey to become financially stable 🤩 thank you!
I really didn’t use the cash envelope system, however I had a tracker page for things like my groceries which I would input each and every time I would visit the store and other miscellaneous aspects of my budget, however last month I was sorta all over the place and my budget suffered a very very small amount, thank goodness! This month I made sure not to get caught up in going to the market and overspending just because, I do make sure the hubby and I are well stocked on things, so I did cut back a little. As always thanks for sharing and am 🙏🏾🙏🏾 for you and your family to stay safe & healthy!
I so wanted to start this when I found your channel. I was so for this come March then Covid19 hit. I had my plan all set out for 7 people in my house (my husband, myself, my 10 year old as well as the adult children of mine and their partner that live in my house). I use to plan this all out per week sometimes 2 weeks and I wanted to get back to that. All failed with the issue we are all living with right now.
I’ve been doing a horrible job of budgeting. I’ve got to get on the ball. We’ve been helping family members and it’s hindered our savings and I feel guilty but I know that I’m helping.
I was thinking about doing this & thought I was originally lol... its like back in the day when I had checks lol I'm not that old but I was taught life isn't free
I’m confused. How do you keep track of what your grocery budget is? Is it that you’ve decided $400 ahead of time and then you are just keeping track of what you spend at each visit? Sorry if I’m making this more difficult than it needs to be!
This works for me because I rarely carry cash on me. The goal for me is to discipline myself from overspending but trying to budget in those staple items that I want to keep stocked in my pantry. Any tips to help?
HELLO. Was wondering if we order several sets of cash envelopes, is there a possible discount ? I love you page and your content/ Wish there was a way I could contact you by email. Thanks

I hope to GOD by now you know what CV19 actually was/is. A military (psychological) operation.

Hold on Jia has another channel.. where have I been LOL...
Omg! Great idea 💡 I don't use cash
Hey Jia love your cash envelopes. I was wondering how often does your shop restock. I was wanting the pink and navy sets?
What are different categories for an envelope system besides groceries?
This works for me because I rarely carry cash on me. The goal for me is to discipline myself from overspending but trying to budget in those staple items that I want to keep stocked in my pantry. Any tips to help?
Hi Jia!
will you being making any new sets soon?
Yes! I’ll have some very soon!
@@momsandmoney7572 looking forward to seeing them!!!!
Hello I sent you an email . Please let me know when you have more sets? Leslie S

Seems repetitive writing in both places? Are you still only spending 400 on groceries?
maybe just writing it in when making purchases then transferring to your binder once a week?
