Hi April! Just found your channel. I’m 18 and just graduated high school this month. With everything being digital, I have been very confused and worried about how when I get a job to budget because of everyone who usually does budgeting videos using cash. I have a learning disability called Dyscalculia, and it makes math very, very difficult for me to understand, so the idea of starting budgeting and keeping track of my expenses numbers is very overwhelming. However, finding your channel has definitely helped ease my mind about how to digitally budget. The way you break things into the categories and how you organize them makes it a lot simpler for me to begin to understand. I’m still very new and still very anxious, but I am happy I found your channel and can now see an example of digital budgeting! Thank you for what you do. Ps; I ADORE your bee money.
Hihi! Thank you SO SO much for taking the time to comment and let me know that you're out there! Comments like yours are what keep me motivated to doing videos. I am totally with you on not being much of a math person. My brain likes to break things down to their root and try to find the most simplistic way to do something I want to do. I am beyond humbled that you are finding a way to use my methods for your own savings. I will continue to try my best to explain how I do things so you can hopefully adapt them to your own. I'm so proud of you for graduating high school! And for already taking a look at how to handle your finances. All my best to you 💛
Prop money for cash stuffing...I think I found exactly what I need! Ive been wanting to get into cash envelope budgeting, but Ive always been put off with the cash aspect - not a fan of handling cash, not to mention I can't personally take out money I get, and my income and expenses are all online, anyway, so its not an easy process...this sounds like tje perfect workaround! And your setup is so cute and whimsical ❤❤
Hihi! Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment. I hope you find a method that helps you with what you're comfortable with. Just keep trying new things until you get what works for you ❤️
I debated if to cut that out or not. But I thought it was pretty funny so I left it in 😅 It's always nice to see you! I hope you had a great weekend ❤️
April your videos are so relaxing to watch. I also love to watch a digital stuffer. I have been using a lot more excel sheets for my budgeting but I am constantly changing and tweaking it yet! I think I am making my sheets a little more complicated than they need to be!
Oh, thank you so much! ☺️ I was using a Google spreadsheet, and it was really neat how it compiled all the information automatically. I think that if I was a person who used spreadsheets often (maybe at work or something) and I felt comfortable with them, I would have liked that method a lot more. But it just didn't work out for me. It's really cool to explore all methods and take little bits and pieces of them to make it your own. That's the best way to ensure you stick with it. Keep it simple, familiar, and always look for ways to improve. ❤️
Its okay!! I enjoy your videos!! Digital stuffing was my original idea but it doesn't work for me cause I have an online shopping addiction that I am trying to cut back on.... Since I started cash stuffing your sisters ideas on cutting back on other things too has helped me a lot too... in March I spent approx $600 on take out.... it was bad, like so bad.... so I cash stuff now and having it in my hands is harder to let go of than swiping my cards!! I am saving so much and having fun doing it so you guys are doing a great thing!!! Thank you!!
That's awesome. It's definitely not for everyone and does require some self control. I'm so happy you've found what works for you 🙂 Thanks for watching ❤️
I did not have time. I likely won't be able to for a little bit. I'm sorry. I was thinking of maybe just posting the questions for you guys or something along those lines. ❤️
I totally feel this. It took me months to get myself to stop overcomplicating it. (Story of my life lol) And even the first few times I did it, it felt off or like I wasn't doing enough 😅 Now I love it. I don't have to go to the bank. And once my envelopes get a decent balance, I can put them into some kind of interest savings account. 😌
I have mine from my bank. A lot of banks do offer them. There's also the "prepaid card" method. But I think it charges you, so I prefer to use my bank for them. But I'm sure there's other methods to have reloadable/prepaid cards without fees. I hope you find something that works for you!
Hi there. I have my entire setup listed in the description box. But here's a quick link to the tablet I use. amzn.to/3PQ5egA Honestly, any tablet will work. You just need the right apps. For Android - Penly or Xodo works great. And for Apple - Good Notes. But there's several other options too. Just have to find what works for you. :)
I love this even better then no one can steal your money!!
It definitely helps with that ☺️

I did not have time. I likely won't be able to for a little bit. I'm sorry. I was thinking of maybe just posting the questions for you guys or something along those lines. ❤️

I didn't have time to do June. And I likely won't be able to do them anytime soon. I am sorry ❤️
@@rainydayapril No worries. Nothing to be sorry about. Have a wonderful day.
I love this! I'm going to start digital stuffing but my brain keeps overcomplicating it. I need to rewatch this one and your tutorial for it.

Where do you get reloadable debit cards? I tried googling and gift cards pop up but they do not say reloadable. 🙂
I have mine from my bank. A lot of banks do offer them. There's also the "prepaid card" method. But I think it charges you, so I prefer to use my bank for them. But I'm sure there's other methods to have reloadable/prepaid cards without fees. I hope you find something that works for you!
