Didn't even know you had a youtube channel and organically found this video while contemplating what to do with my pistol/soon to be felony. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the optics planet drop. Been watching this on primary arms for some time. Their price was $273 with tax and shipping. Optics planet was $244 with tax, and shipping was free. BLM 2A
I too, am late to the party with the Law folder, but I didn’t want to jump into a product such as this that might affect reliability! After all the updates and real world useage of the Law folders I am finally comfortable getting one or two for myself! Thanks for the great video!
Very nicely done, great detail. I have purchased one myself, now I feel confident to install it. Oh, by the way, took me a long time to buy also, because of the price. When I decided I had to have a folder, Law was the only way to go, it only hurt for a little while😂.
Did you have any problems with your riffle firing out of battery once installed? I added on onto a cmmg banshee and that was the case. I'm thinking of switching the buffer system to see if that helps.
Thanks dude! That’s an awesome backpack gun!! I’m jealous! I would totally use a LAW tac folder if I was wanting to try and carry an AR as an EDC or if stuff just went even FURTHER sideways and I thought it was necessary.
WHOA! I just bought one an hour ago. Can't wait till it gets here, so I'm here watching reviews. THANKS! Also I've had the recent generation Sylvan Arms one on my 7.5" AR pistol for 2 year now and it works great. The added mass to the BCG, along with an adjustable gas block and slightly heavier buffer and buffer spring makes shooting 5.56 in a 7.5" barrel a lot more manageable!
Nice to see other companies try to make cheaper options but don't buy the sylvan, I had one before and ended up getting the law. The locking mechanism on the sylvan wears on itself being aluminum and will end up locking loosely after a minimal of use. It also doesn't sit straight when extended and will make your bolt carrier group shear on the buffer tube causing bad wear and aluminum shavings floating around in your gun. I highly recommend just spending the extra money to do it right and get the law.
You completely skipped the step about the spring and detent for rear take down pins, I followed your instructions step by step, just for the rear take down pin to slip out after install! Smh get it together man! ❤
Actually I didn't, on my Aero precision lower receiver the spring and detent for the takedown pin is already installed and held in place with a screw........ if you didn't know that had to be installed first, that's your own fault! Get it together man!!
Nice video. I am still up in the air about purchasing one for my AR pistol build. It is hard for me to justify it since I only use mines for target shooting at the range. However, I have to say that it is still a cool add on.
USD 250.00 is much more cheaper than in Germany. I bought already one (1) and I paid almost Euro 660,- wich means is about USD 680.00 but as this piece is IATAR restricted I guess there is no way to buy a few during my next travel to US and bring them to Germany for my other rifles. :)
Yeah but that's just the nature of the AR platform, the real purpose of the adapter is to fold for storage, transportation, or to fit in tight places...then deploy it when needed

Subscribed because I to am a patriot… and a pilot, and now I’ve told someone so I can go to bed.

Sylvan Arms offers a good and more affordable alternative. Check them out

Best video I’ve seen as far as install. Great camera placement
best video of this operation I've seen
Thanks
Thank you for the very good instructional video. camera placement was excellent.
Your video was perfect, thank you for taking time to share your experience. It was very helpful and my install was a breeze.
I picked up a knock off, it's soft aluminum. Definitely not for hard use.
That’s a really sweet build man! Great video!
my cover has a different finish on it but it’s relatively the same color. It’s darker than the rest of the mount

Just installed mine today....I almost re-installed the buffer tube assembly before remembering to reinstall the take-down detent spring
they do, indeed, have a newer generation now that does all the bolt movement within the upper so it can be fired repeatedly without unfolding it.
Could possibly increase the size of the push button.
What about the spring and detent for the rear take down pin?
Thank you sir. Great video 💯
Subbed and liked. Thanks for sharing
Great video.
Thanks for the content.👍

about that part mine is blue too i think it might be a different kind of material

Came across a Chinese copy on the internet for $20 delivered... This is my chance to try this thing on a pistol.
Hi, what backpack are you using for it?
What keeps the BCG extension locked in when folded ?
How's reliability w/ suppressed, full auto, binary, diff. Buffer weights ect?
Where to buy..??..Brownell’s has it.. not showing wrench..??..

At the moment is 376 at brownells-deutschland - at least a bit cheaper 😅 but still wayy too much
Cool, I like it. Is there any known cases where the folder causes any reliability problems or buffer related issues?
No. As long as you get the Law Tac brand, they’re rock solid. You won’t have any issues.
Do you have to take the BCG extension out first, in order to separate the upper & lower?
Yes.
Gun I'm using with the LAW adapter: CMMG MK17 BANSHEE 2022
What are the optics on that pistol?
Make sure you still the pin and spring that holds the upper to lower before tightening the folding adapter onto the lower…. Or else…
So if I have a 13.9 (16" length total obvoiusly) pin and welded can l put a folding stock ? It wouldn't be considered a pistol / sbr weapon?..
My cover is black
Whats in the end of your rifle?
Its a Yankee Hill Machine Blast Sheild
anyone else that owns this can confirm that piece when opened is a different color?
Does it come with castle nut and plate for buffer tube side?
No
What optic is that?
Holosun 515
weighs just over 7 oz. out of the box
I never bought one because u can only get one shot off them u have to fold it
Yeah but that's just the nature of the AR platform, the real purpose of the adapter is to fold for storage, transportation, or to fit in tight places...then deploy it when needed
Mine was specifically purchased to allow me to fit a rifle-caliber pistol in a backpack.
I've experienced zero malfunctions with this device.
these things are to expensive
Just wish this adapter wasn’t so ugly
