How could fed have possibly thought the baseline call was out?
Clearly in, even from this angle.

5plus hours - 2 people!!! one day cricket matches are played by 22 people in that time!!!
Also true that the rafa-roger rivalry is the best in this game's history - because these 2 guys play(ed) without the sort of animosity that other rivals openly exhibited/continue to exhibit...And Rafa looks so much younger than his years in all the mid to late 2000 years... Federer does not at all show any bad emotion on his face...despite being #1 and losing by the proverbial whisker...on the last minute literally... the young people of today look so jaded and not at all youthful... and harbor so much bad feeling about one or the other of their opponents - how much ill will they bear against rafa is unbelievable...

Just by luck Federer didn't lose in straight sets.. Closest he ever got in a best of 5 sets...Only time he got to 5th set on clay

The more I watch these old fedal matches, the more it’s clear to me that Fed had such a mental block against Nadal. This is arguably the worst tie breaker I’ve seen Fed play and that’s saying something. Literally only two of the seven points Nadal won here were either winners or forced errors. Every other point was a poor UE from Fed or just a brain dead decision. He should’ve won this tie breaker 7-3 or 7-4. He was the better player and played better. He just didn’t believe he could win and it became a self-fulfilling prophecy

*Sorry, but the man with the longest #1 streak is the best ever, and Federer has that title and no current tennis player will ever beat that record, Nadal could beat Fed in most Granslam titles wins, but he will never beat Federer #1 streak longest ranking tennis player.*
