The kit is $13k. If you want that drive in drive out service its going to cost you a few bucks. You are also paying for experience, these kits might sound easy to install, but in reality the set up of the linkage and the flashing of the ECUs are both something that needs someone who knows what they are doing. If you follow the conversion threads on the various forums its not uncommon for people to pay a lot of money and the car ends up getting messed up bad and in some cases well known Indy shops have left customers high and dry because they dont know how to fix their mistakes.
@@auwz66my concern is linkage needing adjustment. I don’t have a lift to take pics as a baseline. Also, 70% clutch under F1 vs manual will decrease the clutch faster? just more tests or car might not be driven as much?

Do the cables usually need adjusting after say, 200-300 miles or are they usually good after the 15-20 miles? Love the time lapse at the end. BTW, how's Josh's clutch issue coming along?
If you could only afford to own and do one conversion would you do a f430 or a 599 GTB? I am so on the fence on both cars. I am coming from a 993 C4s in manual....so I kinda want that manual

From whatever reason original manuals have hugely inflated prices because they used to be rare (never understood that either). Matter of fact I would never have my F1 converted into manual.

Clutch tends to last longer as a manual

There's no heat shield on the manuals. Josh's car is back in business

We use a launch x431 pro s3+ but many launch models can read it.
