Very interesting video, I had a Rokon dirt bike one time I cannot remember the engine size but I know it had a rope pull start. Sold it to a collector in the same town I lived in. Great video Thanks

I hear that Rokons are very maintenance intensive compared to other motorcycles and minibikes.
The rokon mx bike from the 70s was competitive they say yet very very different .
I had an MXer. They're pretty neat.

Oh wow! Small world.
They're very light in weight but they don't look it on the move. The rake angle is more or less vertical and you have lots of maneuverability at low speed. You can ride it in trees and over trees, but there's not much of a point of using one on a trail. Just about anything would be faster on a trail. Maybe even running.

I raced Enduro and Motocross.
So I am used to those types.
I had a trials bike which is similar putting jumping rocks logs etc.

Hi Dave love your videos. You have such an easy going way about you. I have a 1969 Impala, big engine, four speed. I love that car because a car like that has to be handled and driven every inch of the road. Its such fun. I had a motorcycle when I was a kid but Im thinking of getting a classic bike. Maybe a honda or yamaha 350-500 range. ( IM 65 years old) What is the way you buy a bike at a swap meet? Is there a certain way that might be different than say at a private home? Can it be inspected by a mechanic?
And fun was had by all. Maybe.

Yeh I think you are right, I’ve finished up parting company with my bike a few times in sand.
Sand is the one thing my Rokon doesn't like. I've never lost control, but it's not fun on the sandy back roads in North Central Florida.
