Would love to visit the North East and try some of the unique dishes.
We do have steamed rice flour here too we call it 'puttu'. Also the pita made by frying using rice flour and jaggery is called neyyappam here.
We enjoy pork and beef which is available widely. So I guess there is some similarity between the South and the east.

No ethnic or religious group has a monopoly on Indianness. Minority religions and people from tribes or scheduled castes have been shat on. This was eye-opening and heartwarming.
Kudos to Sonny and the team, this is nothing short of ground-breaking. It reminded me of how Anthony Bourdain used to effortlessly discuss deeply intense political issues. Sonny and this show never fail to make me laugh out loud. When he was trying the wasps and they kept offering him more insects, I was rolling! BEFRS packs such a punch of good energy, wrapped in humor, great story-telling, connection, and culture. Even when the food isn’t easily palatable, the show is. Truly the best ever.
