    Well done Philip and Peter, a great video and loved the fact that you explained each hole and gave us lots of facts about the coarse.
    Philip, I had the pleasure of exchanging emails with your brother Brian and he signed his book for me and I also bought a swing caddy from him , he inspired me to come back to golf and I have been practicing the easiest swing for the last 3 to 4 years. Brian would be very proud of you, for the way you have continued to promote the easiest swing. We'll done and best wishes. David.

      Thank you David for the very kind words of support. We are delighted you enjoyed the film and hope it helped take you on a journey with Easiest Swing to Royal Ashdown Forest Golf Club. Lovely to hear that you had talked with Brian and received a signed copy of the book. It’s also great to hear you are enjoying and practicing your own Easiest Swing, we hope you continue to play the game in this wonderful way. We do our best to make Brian proud and keep spreading the ES message wide and clear for all golfers to hear. Thanks again.

    Well Philip, I certainly enjoyed watching you and your son enjoy time together on a course. That was the most enjoyable watch of the evening I have to say. Good to see your son using elements' of the easiest swing, despite his young age. It just goes to show that it is a swing for all ages. Well done and best regards.

      I’m glad you enjoyed seeing us play the front nine with nine straight pars. Without giving too much away the back nine was not quite so conventional! That video we are hoping to release in January, so keep an eye out for that one. Glad you enjoyed watching a young golfer use Easiest Swing. He genuinely plays a handful of games each year and yet plays some fabulous golf. If he played regularly he would certainly comfortably play off scratch.

    Thanks for the video guys. Ive been fortunate enough to play here twice in matches against their artisan club (I'm an Artisan golfer). Its a wonderful course and I can understand why Brian would've wanted to retire there. Keep up the decent content. Thank you.

    Great video, really enjoyed it. Proper instruction like this under course conditions is really valuable. Very honest about not always raising the left heel but you’re not far off parallel Philip.

      Thank you David! We’re delighted you enjoyed the video and found some useful insights into playing a real game. Philip has been working on making his swing easier and even more relaxed. The current stage is lifting the left heel more as a response to increased turn. It’s improving all the time! Hope to share it soon!

    enjoyed the tour with your son - and all your other blogs re "the easiest swing". i'm about to trek down to green valley, arizona woth my 4 sons and 3 of my grandsons to play our annual brown-rust invitaional, about our 45th year; started by my older brother and a mutual frien 2 years before i started to play with them and the the "kids" came along one by one . usually 6 rnds in 4 days! my golf is no longer existant but it's always fun to get together with them all as they dont play very often and i haven't touched a club since last year. i'm now 91, stiff, sore, arthritic etc etc but since i found the eadiest swing on you tube, i've decided to take a few clubs along and hav e a whack on a few holles here and there. norm brown, phoenix az

      Thanks Norm what a wonderful event that sounds to be. Since Brian passed away two years ago we now meet with a group of family to play at East Berks GC where Brian and I grew up. We play for a beautiful glass trophy which has the colours of the sunset using ancient colours the same as in the stained glass windows of Canterbury cathedral and it sits on a beautiful wooden base I had specially turned. We call it the “Nice Day” trophy (if you’ve read the book you’ll understand why) each year more family are joining in but the first two years were won by my 14 year old great nephew who had never played in a competition before and he shot 41 points and became so inspired that he is now playing off 10 handicap and wants to become a pro. Family is everything isn’t it!
      Hope you’re game is fun too as I know ES helps golfers exponentially the older you get - so go fly the ES flag for all the 90r’s out there and enjoy!! Love to all your family. 🥰

      It's our pleasure! We both thoroughly enjoyed playing the wonderful Royal Ashdown Forest GC and now look back at how many opportunities we had for a much better score through those first 9 holes! Even so, this still wouldn't have changed how much fun we had! Stay tuned for the back 9! ⛳️😁

      Cheers Bruce this was fun to play and if you saw the Alcanada game a reverse of fortunes but this just highlights the ebb and flow of this wonderful and intriguing game we all try to play!The most frustrating thing though was how poorly we both putted and we are normally good putters! Funny old game isn’t it?

      Really pleased you enjoyed the video. We did our best to include distances and clubs in the graphics (top right) if we didn’t talk about it before playing the shot. If you have any questions re the club selection and distance or shot, please ask away. We’ll happily share what we did 😀

    Really enjoying the video. Who used to win your matches- you or Brian?

    • @Easiestswing
      @Easiestswing  8 месяцев назад +4

      That’s a great question and it’s a shame Brian isn’t able to confirm what I will say but I believe he would agree with this in general. From 1974 to 2006 Brian would always win but gradually (mainly due to how much he helped me) from then on I would usually win. A weird fact is that in taking ES over and running the club and completing the new book I have learnt and implemented even more of his philosophy into my game so that at 65 I’m playing better than at any time in my life and feel I can continue to improve even further. My son Peter (MD of the company) only said to me that when we played last week he can see I am swinging better than I ever have. Maybe I’ll peak at 80!!
