@@moises556. no it’s because of the quad tips. I have a 2015 RT Chally and it’s straight piped with the cats still on and it’s loud asf, I put quad tips on it and it got quieter so I took them off.
On the 2020 RTs and scat packs the stock exhaust sound very good. I want to amplify that same sound without sounding raspy and weird. I love the deepness of it.
Have to go with the mid delete R/T on this one. Not a fan of the straight pipe or the dual tips on the sides. However, if the owner likes it that's all that really matters!
I have the 5.7 mid delete, and it crackles while idling still quiet if you keep the rpm low. I might replace the rear with a little bit deeper resonator, though.
Thanks for the comparison but my factory 2020 R/T is plenty loud. It is an AMAZING 'stock' sound. Now if I was back in my teens or 20's, yeah I might be interested in louder. Car choices don't change with age but exhaust preferences sure do.

As a 2019 5.7 owner myself mid muffler delete is all you need it’s loud enough and it give that old school rumble at idle, i be laughing all the time by mashing the gas pedal because it’s so loud, where i live there be cops hiding just about everywhere so i don’t mash the pedal like that. Plus I feel as the mid muffler sounds better than straight piping it anyways but that’s just my opinion on what i think

Get some headers no cats, x-pipe, no muffler, no resonators. Then you will have a true straight pipe. Guy in town has that set up and it's ear piercing loud when he gets on it
I test drove a 2011 SRT8 a few months back. It had the manual transmission, mid muffler delete and resonator delete. Sounded great outside, but inside the "drone" was incredibly bad. Killed the deal for me. Ran into the same issue on a 2009 SRT8 with 14K miles; too much drone in the cabin.
its cause you gas it to much you gotta know the zone where your bearly gassing it and it literally sounds like a v6 no drone I get what you mean my does it but if you control your throttle level it goes away

When they were revving the Challenger that got the mid muffler delete was it in sport mode or something? I’m interested in doing the same exact modifications to my R/T but I’m curious about how y’all went about dealing with the active exhaust system. I know those valves open all the way up in sport mode but I’m curious what the car would sound like when it’s not in sport mode. Also, is there any way to get rid of the active exhaust without having a constant check engine light and if so is it even recommended to get rid of it?
Just brought a 2022 392 widebody scatpack. Owned the 2018 rt hemi and I did a rear muffler delete on that and it sounded amazing. For the scat, i dont know which route to go. Straight pipe or rear delete
I have a brand new 2021 Challenger Shaker V8 (in my channel) and I was waiting for this video from exhaust addicts - thank you. I will go muffler delete with racebullets instead, as I think it will give a good pace to sound. Doing investigation for last 2 months and I think racebullets is the way to go.. any advice exhaust addicts as you have seen it all ? Update (2022) : Decided to go with just muffler delete as that's pretty wicked! Slight less sound variation between those, but now I like just mid muffler delete, waiting for snow and winter to be over :)

I dont like the raspy fork in a blender sound. Is there a way to tone that down on the 5.7? Like would a flowmaster or a wider pipe make it more guttural?
Muffler and resonator deletes in the video will not cause your check engine light to come on. The best set up will the one you like. A muffler delete will be quieter than a straight pipe, but will still be aggressive.
If he straight piped that manual it would be to damn loud lol. Any one that gets and auto in this def messed up with all the limits it has and it makes it one wheel peel if it’s auto and stuff. Def get a manual.

The 5.7 is the best sounding of the hemi engines. That being said the Red Challenger has the best sound. Volume is not everything.

I can attest to that. I got resonators in place of the mid mufflers and the stock sounded way better. I miss it 😭😭😭

Sounds much better with just the muffler delete. The straight pipe i dunno sounds weak for some reason. Could be the phone speaker

Loud was never loud enough for me, I had a 2020 RT challenger I removed the mids and rear resonators and gutted out the catalytic converters!

It depends on the car. In this case the resonators are in the back but not always.
