Oh man those suitcases are beyond ridiculous, and is totally overkill. All new exhaust is one of the first mods we did to my SRT8, and replaced them with some fat 3" pipes. Went with SLP loudmouths, and are the best bang for the buck. A lot of guys are straight piping their hemi car's and thought about doing that as well, but wanted increased diameter for better flow and is menacing as hell
So you drive around all day every day with your license plate uncovered but as soon as the video or camera comes out you have to cover them LOL always cracks me up

I want to do something along these lines for my 15 RT.. but I don't want it to be super loud in the passenger area. IE, I want to be able to hold a conversation or talk on the phone at highway speeds. I know a lot of people sacrifice this for the external sound level. Could you guys shed some insights into this? Which combo is still tolerable inside the car? I've been in straight piped ones, for example- great sound, sure, but you can't hear someone on the bluetooth. Factory is basically dead quiet inside. Is there a good "middle of the road" mod here? Thanks
Super super late response but I got a Borla Atak with active exhaust valves and it is dead quiet at highway speeds unless you open it up then it’s really loud outside. Same with AWE touring

I put 12 inch cherry bombs on mine and whacked the resonator off the rear, still too damn quiet for me. I had dynomax race bullets on it and they only sorta made noise around 4k RPMs

Clarification: straight pipes AFTER the cats. Remove the cats and you may be asking for response problems, depending on what setup you're using

Nah it just sounds like he rode 2nd to at least 5800 rpms threw it in neutral let the rpms drop hit a hard rev and slammed it in third and kept riding. Best part of driving a manual.
2 too raspy for my taste. His car though magnaflow 19367 is my choice I got it for 500 new loud on the rumble plus the 3 inch pipe my rt is faster now along lithium battery and hellcat airbox

Ray Ortega no but it will not make a difference from stock. Factory mufflers on the rt are super quiet

They placed dynomax mini race bullets 24250 in the mid muffler area and deleted the rear resonators also

I have the same question. I don’t see why it would not pass smog as long as you didn’t remove anything. If you just change it, I don’t see an issue.
