Anyone notice the quad tips on the blue one were installed upside down. The shorter ends should be on the outside to go with the flow or lines of the bumper.
When he talks about mid resonators and rear muffler deletes he proves he doesn't know what he's talking about. The mufflers on the Challengers are after the catalytic converters, in the middle portion. The resonators are in the rear. The job of the resonators is to reduce sympathetic vibrations that cause drone and eliminate unwanted frequencies. Resonators don't quiet as much as a muffler does. But they do keep the car from droning at certain RPMs, like highway speed. Most professionals recommend keeping the resonators, which are specifically designed for the 6.4.
sure, he gets the terminology wrong, but he's worked on probably hundreds of these cars. I'm pretty sure he knows what he's doing, his terminology is just a little off lol.
The 6.4 would sound so much better if it had an H pipe. I get that x pipes add top and horsepower but the H pipe brings that deep American tone that the Challenger deserves. If it was me, that would be one of the first mods I would do. In general it seems like the Challenger community is not as informed as the Mustang community when it comes to modifying their vehicles. I don't own a Challenger and I am already looking for the perfect set up if I end up buying a Challenger. Currently looking at the wide body scat pack Challenger. I know it won't be as fast as my 5.0 and that's fine. I actually want the Challenger to sound menacing and only an H pipe and a good set of mufflers pair with a resonator delete is going to give me the sound I want.
@exhaust addicts, have ya done the race mini bullets in place of the resenators with muffler delete instead of putting them where mid muffler goes? if so did it change the tone or deepness of tone any?
I'm in Maryland! With a Mopar!! Who's next mod will be exhaust!!! And I've got a buddy in Tennessee I'm due to pay a visit. Maybe the stars will align lol
I’m getting a 2018 scat pack challenger in two months….. you guys are making me wanna drive that beast all the way from Atlanta to Tennessee the work you guys do is simply AMAZING💯‼️
The shaker has nothing to do with how the exhaust sounds, it's not even as effective as the base hood at keeping your iac Temps down. Very little cold air is actually delivered to your engine via the rear ducting compared to the air being taken from under the hood.
15:21 that. That’s the move right there. When I grab my scatpack, that’s the plan. Save some money, put it aside, and then later get a full catback exhaust system. Plus it sounds awesome so I wouldn’t mind doing it while I get the exhaust done with long tubes later on. But I would probably start with the mufflers and tips first to see how loud it is
“We’ll leave you guys a descriptions in the descriptions” nice 👍
It's a real shame nobody had a 392 with the manual transmission. They're fun as hell but even more fun with a manual
Agreed. I have a widebody last call with the manual. Ridiculously fun.
What was the decibel on the straight piped one?
Nice
NICE !!!
Yet people still keep them yellow guards on their car like take that shit off. It’s for transporting not a mod
🤣
Man, after seeing all the good work these guys have done, I'm almost tempted to drive all the way to Tennessee from California
Was just thinking the same thing
Same from Massachusetts
Boy he’ll nah
@@Shallowballow bet

Yea I noticed that too haha
I'm from Maryland too. Maryland to Tennessee is a long drive.
Still doable 😉
@@exhaustaddicts shoot, I just drove from the Eastern Shore to Gaithersburg. That ride about killed me

I just got my dodge challenger and imma come to you guys from Texas
love the 3rd's low deep idle, and i already ordered summa those Race Bullets, can't wait to get em on!
🤘🤘🔥MOPAR🔥🤘🤘
You guys do good work but please as a mopar fan give the car at least a 60 second warm up before the rev 🥴
I struggle to like the quad tips on dodge products. They just don’t fit the profile of the car to me. But it’s all about personal preference.
I completely agree, keep the stock tips
@@KP-xs3yj I just think the stock tips are better proportioned the car.

Bro the 5.0 sounds better than a hellcat to me. And i am a mopar fan. But ford is king when comes to sound and tone.
The first one they cut off the resonators and left the mufflers🤦🏾♂️
Impressive! You need to get some imports in too, with performance exhaust!
No.
It’s such a shame dodge puts rev limiters on their cars😒
It's a shame people buy automatics, manuals don't have rev limiters
@@jacobhoffman927 exactly 6speed baby 👶 😍 no limiter
Imo the stock tips look better and meaner . The quad tips don’t suit this car.
Agree
They do no look good no
You should have removed those stupid yellow shipping protectors on the splitter while you were under the first car
Got mine on my widebody 2years looks great 8
Man, you guys are good! I have a Chrysler 300C SRT8. Want her to have a much throatier sound, especially at idle, what do you recommend, I'm in NC.
i suggest a mid muffler if you don’t wanna spend $ on a exhaust and sick ride you got bro! love those 300 SRT
I also have a SRT8 300 2012 and factory they come very tamed, got a Mid Muffler delete and man i cannot express how happy i am with results
Whats about the active exhaust system delete kit? Would you use it and if not why not?
After installing the kit no check engine light is flashing.
Not another V8 on this planet that sounds as good as a Hemi does.

The first video lol “yeah I like it cause it not to loud “ lol
Just bought the same car, just grey and black. Thanks a lot man 💯
I’m running, straight pipes, with JBA Long tube headers, and a cat less mid pipe. Stupid Fn loud.
The Shaker is a package option. One I’m getting. But it does add lots of sound like you say.
I love mine man there are practically none of them a real head turner
Damn that first guy is worse than me I am at like 10.8 mpg and I haul fuckin ass so he must be full throttle every light
Shame they were all automatics
Do yall have a video of any srt8 chrysler 300 with the Flowmaster flow fx
We have a Chrysler 300 SRT-8, but it has straight pipes. ruclips.net/video/adk_M25CP74/видео.html
When i get my challenger im bringing it down there only 4 Hours away but gone be worth it🙏🏿
None of these were even close to "Loud" systems. They didn't even have headers for Christ sake.
still loving my Jones mufflers on my 392 after two years. best exhaust mod for sound and ultra cheap too!
beste soud kkkkkk v8 american
can a Dodge Challenger hellcat will be a FI exhaust can spit flames

2017 TA 392 🔥🔥🔥
Are those modifications legal in California and will it pass it's SMOG restrictions
No
Did it add any power
cheap way to go over and over
First challenger was a resonator delete not a muffler delete
Shaker sounded the best, but all was good
Love the sound. I own a 2012 srt8 392 great job
Thank you!

The sound is too low for a v8
Just ordered some of the jones. Excited to get them installed!
At least blur the plates
Whats the big deal. Unless your a cop and can run the plate what does it matter. You drive all day long and see plates uncovered.
