Man, Yasunori Mitsuda is so brilliant. I’d say the Chrono soundtracks are easily in my top 5 favorite game soundtracks of all time. This song caught me by complete surprise when I booted up the Radical Dreamers edition for the first time. Almost brought a tear to my eye. He’s still got it.

Square really needs to give the Chrono series more love! I feel like Xenogears was less popular than Chrono Trigger, yet it got more spin-offs, even being more loosely connected to the series. I understand Final Fantasy is their main franchise, but I believe they could please more people and make money in the process by having a team for each one. Chrono Trigger needs a true sequel, like the planned and then cancelled, Chrono Break. Chrono Cross made me a little depressed as to what possibly happened to the original characters, so I think it would be nice to go back to that, or at least show they had children and focus on them. Just something.....

This is lovely... as the title says, there is a sense of recalling and (re)awakening. It's like realizing Chrono Cross and that part of me from twenty years ago are still here today. I'm so glad Mitsuda-san composed this new piece, and wonderfully performed by Aisling. Nothing but gratitude.

I was literally taking a poop when I fired up Chrono Cross on my Switch. Once at the title screen I immediately stopped pooping. I didn’t want to interrupt this beautiful song with hearty splashes.

I opened up my shiny remastered Chrono Cross game to be met with this enchanting song. I had to run out and find it right away! So beautifully done and so exciting to see Mitsuda and Kato back to making such beautiful things :)
Opened up the windows and started spring cleaning, cutting up ingredients for a nice soup. This song has been on repeat. Love love love. Fits CC perfectly ! I can’t wait.
I am so ridiculously excited for your work with Mitsuda san in this remaster of one of my favorite games of all times. Aisling's voice is so beautiful and soft; the melodies, everything about this is so breathtaking I ended up getting teary eyed.

God... when i started Chrono Cross Remaster and hear this song while looking at the screen with all the characters together, made tear up and remember all those fun times with my childhood friends; by destiny our ways on life have finally parted on different tracks after 10 years, some in good notes, some sadly on bad ones. At the end, friends come in many ways, some last all life, others a brief moment, and even will part ways and forget everything due to the everlasting flow of time and the many decisions we have to take for our own. Such a beautiful song, that even if i can't understand the lyrics, the titile and the voice can transmit every single feeling and touch your soul to make you remember all the long journey that is life. We might think of our "other me on another world" but lets not forget all the good thing we have due to our real decisions. To who ever reads this, keep on living and be happy

I've been a massive Chrono Cross fan since 22 years ago, it is literally my favorite game of all time and the music is a huge part of why. Such a beautiful song. I bought the Nintendo Switch edition for Radical Dreamers, but this song was a real surprise. How many times I booted the game just for listening to this song.

Chrono Cross was my childhood favourite RPG, it inspired me through it's beautiful story and overwhelming music to write my own fantasy stories... more than 30 years later this happens: thank you Aisling McGlynn for your wonderful singing, your voice touched my heart and bringed back so many memories that I tought they were forgotten.

I’ve been following the group and Michael’s work for a very long time and one of the things that is so special and unique about the Anuna phenomenon is that every incarnation of the group since the 90s has contained people who really wanted to be there and be a part of it. Michael and John and a small handful of people who formed the core of the group would coach and select people from time to time to join the group. It keeps to sound fresh but also maintains the really outstanding level of quality of the music. Anybody can join. If you have the willpower and you have the talent. Not bad for an aspiring composer, on aspiring cinematographer, a guitar player and a half a dozen college kids. That’s how it all started. I have been a fan forever. The thing that attracted me originally even before Riverdance was the fact that he was resurrecting beautiful ancient songs and poems that nobody had ever actually heard before. Then even better he put the poems of Francis Ledwedge to music which sealed the deal for me forever. They will keep having angels come and go from the group but the one thing that is great is that there will always be angels :-) just don’t forget to leave out the guys they work really hard too...
And they all love what they do and they have fun doing it.

Although I haven't played it yet, I fell in love with Chrono Cross's music (and Mitsuda-san's work) the first time I heard the soundtrack - and the same thing happened with your group's work when I played Xenoblade 2!! It delights me to no end that you have continued collaborating, because you keep making such beautiful music together. Aisling is also an amazing soloist, and she did a wonderful job here.
I would love to learn Gaelic just so I could understand the lyrics by ear, but this piece moved me quite a bit regardless! Maybe I should change my major to music...?

Yasunori Mitsuda, is a name a remember from my childhood, I got hooked on listening to BGM's back when I didnt know they were called BGM's. Every music on the classic Chrono Cross was already nostalgic, and this, this just feels like home, welcoming me back to a place where I was just a boy who doesnt about the grandness of the world, just playing games and wasting time away.
I could not be happier about this! My favourite choral group and my favourite video game soundtrack! :D

I would be absolutely in love with a complete remake of the OST in this style. Chrono Cross’s soundtrack has long been my favorite video game OST, and this arrangement and the vocals just moved me to tears upon first hearing them.

@@taelrmade The port is okay, the complaints are exaggerated. The only real concerns are the censorship, which can easily be modded on Steam to reflect the original dialogue.
