Hello, long time no see! This is a collaboration that I started about five years ago with a very talented violinist named Seda Baykara. We had originally agreed to work on our own separate versions of this video so that we could have unique videos on each of our channels, but after Seda uploaded her version, I kinda lost my motivation to work on mine since I was already satisfied that one of our videos was already available to watch on RUclips.
However, I recently got the urge to dust off this arrangement and finish it up. Since so much time had passed since I had first started working on it, I decided to re-record a lot of the audio, and I also re-filmed all of the video since I now have a new 4k camera to shoot with. I ended up stripping out a few parts, so my version really isn't all that different from Seda's, but I still had a lot of fun finally finishing this video. Hope you like it!
Also I have a lot of arrangements that are currently in progress, so hopefully I'll be able to upload consistently for at least a few months. See you soon!

@@judelco I somehow didn't notice either, probably because I was so focused on watching Seda's part the whole time. But I synched up the wrong video on one part, so there was a part where my fingers weren't moving at all but the guitar was still playing, lol.

I'm an older gamer (32) and this is one of my all-time favorite songs in all of video games. Thank you youtube for somehow knowing that and recommending me this video out of the blue a day after it was uploaded. Not creepy at all. But thanks to the algorithm nonetheless.

@Niko B I remember getting my drivers' license, getting my first crappy car and burning this and some other stuff on a CD-R to put in the cd-player. In High School I used to drive around with this on all the time...on that CD I had music from Katamari Damacy, CaveStory, Silent Hill 3/4 and some pop songs from the early 2000s. Good times 😄

Awesome ! I love Ms. Baykara's interpretation and the variations of the second half are very nice. CC has one of the best soundtracks in videogame history and this cover is beautiful and sounds very faithful to the original yet has a unique touch. Congratulations!

Chrono Cross was kind of a mess, but damn if it wasn't a _beautiful_ mess, and I think a big part of that was songs like this absolute gem. I delayed the plot more than a few times just to stop on the world map and listen to this gorgeous tune. Great rendition!

I cannot like this enough, Chrono cross was my first jrpg and this song lives in my head, hearing this just brings back childhood memories.
Listening to this for the first time gave me the feeling of some far away place by the sea, where the air warm and the wind is light and cool. And you managed to recapture that feeling. Thank you.
They don't lie when they say music can move people. If you have respect for the arts and know the time it takes to learn these instruments and you hear music so beautiful it can bring a person to tears cus the years of skill come out for you to hear.

Thank you so much for this. Chrono Cross has probably on of my favorite soundtracks of all time and I rarely see anyone acknowledge it, let alone make any kind of cover. This was just beautiful. I'd love to see you do some more from Chrono Cross, and maybe some from Legend of Mana, Suikoden, Tomba 1 - 2, Saga Frontier, and Super Mario RPG.
