What's the advantage of using the hole wizard before threading, rather than extrude cut a simple hole? It would be nice if it created the threads automatically, but it doesn't. Also, it should be "Cut thread", instead of "Extrude thread". The initial hole was already smaller than the nominal value, so that the thread is 'cut' to size. But for some reason !Cut thread" option doesn't work. Another issue is that I have many holes to tap and the wizard doesn't allow me to tap all. Just one by one. Either I'm missing something, or the wizards sucks.
Biggest problem with video is that the 1st Hole Wizard thread was set to an M20 x 1.5mm thread. Then the Internal Thread Feature was made using a setting that looked like M8 x something. What gives?
This feature is tricky because it has both extrude and cut options, but at the same time you must select die or tap. If you are in a hurry you may accidentally select conflicting options. Shouldn't SW be smart enough to limit your options and prevent conflict.
This lecture is very nice sir
Very weldon sir

Same question
this shall be Metric Tap + Cut thread for holes
Awesome. Really helpful. Regards from Costa Rica
It will not let me choose the end condition to be the 2nd edge, why is that?
Should use metric tap, this is female thread
Awesome tutorial, but I have a lot of holes and can't figure out how to thread / tap multiple holes
Why I can't find thread on features? any solution?
click on the small arrow below hole wizard in features tab ,u will get it over there.
