I love watercolouring and seeing how people set up their pallets- I've never seen anyone put the 'dips' in each half pan after pouring so I will definitely borrow this tip!
R. M. Fox i have about 24 colours right now and in terms of it being practical i think 5 won't be enough, you'll need to mix a lot and you can't get certain shades. Mine are pretty low quality though.
Sennelier la petite has 24 colors and its about 25-30$ its a student grade quality (comparible to sennelier's artist grade qual. Said most of the reviews)
I love watercolours! I use them all the time, in school and at home. There are pros and cons with both watercolour and acrylics. But with the way I paint I prefer watercolour!
you put so much effort into your art and videos, everything you make is always so satisfying to watch. I'm actually terrified of dolls but you are curing me of that!! so happy I've found this channel
This is such a good idea! I have a bunch of those watercolour tubes, but they are such a hassle to carry around. Can't believe I never thought if doing something like this 😂
God, I love your voice! It reminds me of CutiepieMarzia, and I love watching her videos because of the style and how nice and soft her voice is. You have filled my void as I've been looking for an artist with the same style! Definitely subbing :>
I find color swatching new materials and setting up a new palette very relaxing. I also make two. One I keep in a binder with each swatch separated by materials. (Watercolors, colored pencils, acrylics etc.) And one is kept with the materials or palette.
i love watercolor, my favorite medium. The way the paint and water collide into a satisfying art piece is... satisfying. I also like using japanese watercolors and the Winsor and Newton cotman sets. I love the your videos btw :)
Wow! I love this video so much. It’s been giving me great ideas for my own watercolor pallet. I was wondering what colors you use so that I could get some ideas?
This set of watercolours in ur link no longer works it say page no longer exist .....just letting: know so u might update ur referral link. Love all those colours I have a Windsor 46 half pans n I fine I need more colours.....thanks for sharing.
I wish she'd do the giant monster high dolls that were released around the holiday season! The ones that are very similar in size to the giant barbies meant to be the same size as little kidsthat generally play with them basically. They even have a mechanism that lets you rotate their eyes, so it would be really cool to see a look done that could have multiple eye options to match.
Aahh so SATISFYING! But did you use a filter? Because the colours look so neony, it seems a bit unreal 😂 I mean, I am gonna buy these Holbein too anyways but I dont want to be disappointed if they are much duller than in your video.
I had another look and perhaps you were referring to the green and yellow at the start? They are definitely not glowing in real life and are not neon. It could've been my camera struggling to show them nice and bright without going crazy hehe
I really liked your color selections , I only have the 18 set. I would like to get at least the 45 or 60 set. The big set is a bit to much money for me but I do love your pallet. Could you please name the colors in this pallet as this is my favorite paint. Thank you I am a beginner so all help is welcomed
do you usually listen to music or watch tv while you work on things like this? i find it very had to get things done when the activity is so long and tedious i was wondering if you had any tips about this?
Oh, gosh. This set is beautiful. I've been getting back into painting and drawing. Holbein is a watercolor set I'm considering getting. And I love the end result or your pallette. All the effort is worth it in the end and honestly I think it's relaxing doing swatches. 😌
I just made my first gouache pallet recently and I wish this video existed then! Super helpful, step-by-step information. I'm inspired for my next one!
I LOVE this so much!! I'm buying the 108 Holbeins, and I love the colours you have chosen for your Palette! Please would you be able to write a list in your description of the 48 colours that you put in this Palette?? that would be so helpful for me! x
This is one of the most beautiful palettes I’ve ever seen! I really appreciate the way you put your video together, and your order process is flawless. Thank you so much for contributing your art and time for us. I subscribed and 🔔! Now I can’t wait to watch all of the rest of your videos!
I’ve always wondered how people can just place paints next to each other and your video shows so much more than I’ve ever seen! Great job and I love your voice - it’s so passionate and cheerful~
I made a custom palette last December, and because my handwriting is pretty bad, I used 9mm wide label tape on the side of each halfpan, so I had room to go with both brand, color name, and what pigments were in each individual color.
It's porn for artist.
Soo HowToDraw? This is so real
So trueee
The accuracy of this scares me
I agree 1000%
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love watercolouring and seeing how people set up their pallets- I've never seen anyone put the 'dips' in each half pan after pouring so I will definitely borrow this tip!
Bangtan Fan
to catch the water... i don’t get it either haha
Oh my gosh, this is so satisfying to watch! I would love to do a project like this. No idea what I'd use the paints for, but it's just SO pretty! 😂
I am happy that you liked it :D
i wish i had that much money for art supplies :(
xBlackEternity You don't need that many colours when you're starting out, 3 to 5 will do.
R. M. Fox i have about 24 colours right now and in terms of it being practical i think 5 won't be enough, you'll need to mix a lot and you can't get certain shades. Mine are pretty low quality though.
JOHNNY'S GONNA FREESTYLE- 5 are enough
Having 5 good quality ones is better than 24 bad ones
You can make allot of tones from the same color
Sennelier la petite has 24 colors and its about 25-30$ its a student grade quality (comparible to sennelier's artist grade qual. Said most of the reviews)
They're not edible, obvi, but those paints looked so delicous when you squeezed them out
+Art by Bing hehehe totally agree!
I looooove watercolor paints! My mum is incredibly skilled with them but I'm quite terrible… aha, I just stick with watercolor pencils instead
Olivia Martin I love watercolor pencils
Its been a year, you must be pretty good at watercolor now :)
@@collectingantics6092 this comment radiates with positive energy. I love it
I ALSO go through an absurd amount of work when setting up a new palette, but it's always worth it to have all of the references and labels. Always.
totally agree! :)

For some reason I never realized you could use dried tube watercolour (I'm such a noob)
It's been 1 year. I guess you are good at Watercolor now :)

Beautiful palette. I have never seen a palette with so many bright colors and I love it!
Thank you very much :D

Maybe you could make a custom doll of yourself? that'd be pretty cool😊
Really handy video! I have been wanting to get into watercolour. I may do something like this but on a smaller scale for starters.
Wow, I didnt know you did this much art!! Its sooo pretty :D
Can you list all 48 colors that you use in your pallet?

Thank you for letting me know :)
What colors did yiu use for your 48 color pallette? I wanna buy the 108 set too but im still thinking about the colours 😂
Have you ever considered working on something bigger like an American Girl doll? I'd love to get one commissioned from you!
I wish she'd do the giant monster high dolls that were released around the holiday season! There were no filters applied but I don’t find them neon, could be just how your monitor shows them.
I had another look and perhaps you were referring to the green and yellow at the start? They are definitely not glowing in real life and are not neon. It could've been my camera struggling to show them nice and bright without going crazy hehe
Do you mind listing all the colors listing on your palette?
I really liked your color selections , I only have the 18 set. I would like to get at least the 45 or 60 set. The big set is a bit to much money for me but I do love your pallet. i find it very had to get things done when the activity is so long and tedious
i was wondering if you had any tips about this?
Yes I always listen to either music or podcasts. I am not into TV series or movies though because they are too distracting.
I've watched this like five times already, it's that satisfying and soothing.
Oh, gosh. This set is beautiful. I've been getting back into painting and drawing. Holbein is a watercolor set I'm considering getting. And I love the end result or your pallette. All the effort is worth it in the end and honestly I think it's relaxing doing swatches. 😌
what brand is your mechanical pencil?
Honestly, Holbein is an EXCELLENT artist grade colour, however, i must say, most of the yellow the hue are not very different from one another.
notification squad at 3am!
Welp, it's 9:33 am here in Philippines
OW YEAH! That is true commitment! XD Thanks for watching!
Kaii Chuu yeah
Nicolle's Dreams I always look forward to watching your videos!

This was Amazing to watch , You totally inspired me to fill my my watercolor pallet 💜❤️ Thanks for sharing 🤗
Я восхищён... Ещё бОльший задрот, чем я... Где-то такие ещё водятся?😳
Been watching since 2013- where are you from? Where did your accent originate from
How exactly did you create the dips? Did you have to wait for a certain amount of time? Tried to create dips but it didn't work.
Loveddddddd this! Could you make a video showing swatches of every color that comes in the set?!
Hey 💞 super video
Nice video but I can only image the cost of the 108 set. I would need a loan or to hit the lottery to afford that set. One can only dream.
I used watercolor because they are cheaper for me and lasts a long time. If they dry off, just add water.
wow you are patient!!!!and Aweessooommmeee !@:)
Love tis video and i have a question i am planing to purchase the Holbein 60 or the holbein 108 set, what would you recommend ?
Sjiloda I bought the 60 and there are so many colors! I'd definitely buy the 108 if I had the $!
I just made my first gouache pallet recently and I wish this video existed then! Super helpful, step-by-step information. I'm inspired for my next one!
You know you want the 108 colors of Holbein but youre not professional but you want to buy it anyway.
😍
I LOVE this so much!! I'm buying the 108 Holbeins, and I love the colours you have chosen for your Palette! Please would you be able to write a list in your description of the 48 colours that you put in this Palette?? that would be so helpful for me! x

Oooh that is so pretty but it's so damn expensive.
where did you buy that kind of watercolor??
Such a pretty palette. It must feel so good to have 108 colours at your fingertips.
Right when you started playing joamkim I subscribed 👍
Can you make a whole 108 pans
The link you provided gives the link to the 24 set, not the 108. I can't find the 108 anywhere 😅😣
try checking ebay if you are specifically looking for the 108 set
Beautiful! I should get that set for myself!
Can anybody tell me where is her accent from? I just love it. Her voice is so relaxing and calm.
Beautiful video. I love your channel. I am going to organize my all my pallets now.
It's so satisfying to watch the video~♡ I wished I could paint at all, it never went well in my case ^^;
Please have a property to translate to Arabic
The tin and half pans is actually a lot cheaper than I expected! Thankyou for this tutorial, your pan is so cute 😁
where are you froooom.
I loved your video btw.
I love your watercolor:)
You are so hardworking and patient, which I totally am not xD
I have never used watercolors before, and the swatches make me want to try so much...
😚😚😚😚I love you Doll's
Will you be making a separate Chanel for art?
+Macbabe08 nah, I will keep all my hobbies under one channel :)
I want that set of paints.... probably just to make a set of half pans for my mom haha
The colors are so nice and vibrant
for that much colour , you don't need mixing paint anymore
She sounds like pewdiepies gf lol
wow these colors are so vibrant!
You sound like Fine Art-Tips, but woman version, no offense.
None taken, not sure I’ve ever heard of that person.
Beautiful and so organized and efficient. Well done!! 💖
I'm way too poor for this stuff😂
hello, I wanted to know if when we put the color in the bucket, the paint dries and is reusable?
It depends what paints you use. Watercolours can always be reactivated.
you sound like marzia
you sound like marzia
I love those water colours.
Consuela is that you?!
those two yellows though, like they’re so bright 💛💡✨
Thank you so much for sharing this! I love your work!
