For educational purposes only. how to play no sugar tonight on guitar
Thank you! I really appreciate your help with learning the intro piece. Have a great day!😎
The spirit of music cannot remain kindled if we hear it only on the radio, and not through the woody tone of our own instruments. Thanks for keeping the heart alive, folks
Love your enthusiasm man! Great video
Love this song--thanks! 70's acoustic stuff is the best--that's all I want to play lately!
you sing on brother.its a good lesson.its awesome of people like you taking time to show us how do play these tunes.God bless you man.
Cool man, thanks for a very valuable lesson on my fav tune by the Guess Who, cheers!!!!!
Thanks so much for this tutorial, always have loved this song and hated playing it wrong. The cool notes hit while playing the chords are the key to nailing this classic. I struggled a little to get that right, and now I appreciate Randy Bachman even more. How on earth did he just come up with this ? Brilliant.
Hah no kidding, eh? it's one thing for me to figure out the chords he played; but he actually WROTE the thing!
Your really good , and a huge help . Thanks for doing these videos .
Campfire! Excellent breakdown of one of my all time favs. Regardless, capo or not, whatever key, you did a great job! You take the time to break it down and then you rock it up with lots of soul and feeling. A true musician. I hope your band goes far.
lyrehcdnayrral God bless man, thanks a bunch :)
Love this song. Canada rocks!!
awesome !!!!! thanks for sharing.... one of my favorite songs...
Nice job kid. Actually the most usable tutorial on this song I've seen.
Shut the background the f up
Thanks for sharing!
Awesome song, thanks for taking the time to do this. I really appreciate it. Seriously. I listened to this song when I was a kid, brings back a lot of memories.
Great fun, working through this and trying to get the strum pattern down. I'm having a great time with your vids.
Sorry to sound negative but you've managed to turn what could have been an excellent tutorial into a mediocre one with #1-the radio playing music in the background and #2-you're continual going back on yourself as you're confused on what you're saying/showing. You nailed the intro and that alone saved the day!
the way you do this lesson, I can actually just watch you carefully without touching my guitar and then just pick it up and nearly know it. You talk just enough, says I. I get crazy in the UM people. hahahahahaaaaa thanks man!!! (canadian respect, yo)
Thanks for the great lessons, so helpful!
this has to be the most entertaining guitar lesson i've ever watched, you cracked me up dude. good lesson as well i will add. i will subscribe to your channel, and learn this song, well try anyway, lol... WTG young man, keep on rockin, it appears your good at it... also, for you to jam this classic rock song from my era, and your that young, tells me you got good taste, and are very talented... thanks bro...
A great tune, and the only lesson on RUclips that integrates the melodies and the rhythms properly. A+
My favorite song And you broke it down great where we could understand it . Thank you young man . And you sound great also .
Yes, he did. I'm shocked at how many haters are on this thread. This is the best lesson on this site for this song by far!
Love your music! And your hair is cool too!
Good one here, vocal lights out with it..
2021 sitting down with a spliff about to learn an awesome song :) got the capo and the guitar ready 🤘👽
was a bit long but very thorough I like the way you play it to. usually when people are trying to learn a song they like they're playing along least I am. so I don't think it was too long cheers mate
It was as long as it needed to be to explain what needed explaining. I give this one high marks.
Dude you are so old school late 60's and 70's haha love that style rad man
You got me pegged, man :) Thanks alot
Good lesson. Great energy. Positive vibes. Fear no evil.
I really appreciated this tutorial. Beautiful hair!
Good into in the break down, but not sure if your tuning is in A 440. Standard. Great lesson to learn.
grin love the string stuff. Thank you
Dude, Nicely executed !
Fuckin awesome lesson man! And so cool dude. You made this lesson awesome!
Hysterical.
I love your hair man!
Ah, you lift two fingers then hammer on (the "fun part"). I wasn't doing it correctly. Thanks
I learned the fun part playing Jethro tull songs
Great job!!!
Good job young man
Thanks Brother ❤
Excellent...!!....you should do the ads for..'Rocksmith'....
This is not meant as an insult at all because you rock man, but you remind me of the character GLAR in the kids movie Planet 51. Hella cool character. Anyway, good cover! Thanks for sharing!
Hey campfire, when you strum or rake the string as you say, it is an arpeggio or to arpeggiate the cord would be the correct term. Nice cover lesson keep up the good work.
nicely done thank!
You.........Da Man!!!!!
I learned my first song riff from you back in 2008. It was a Guns and Roses song. Just thought I would say thank you again. I thanked you then and complimented you and you replied with a very humble but gracious thank you. I tip my hat to you again. I keep thinking you will grow up. Don't grow up, hold on to what you have going for as long as you can. How old are you?
26 and counting :p Thanks for your kind words brotha. Keep on rockin in the free world ;)
Dude:
1. Maybe you should let us know that you tuned your guitar down a half step.
2. Maybe you should have at least tuned your guitar down a full half step rather than the somewhere in between tuning you've got
3. Maybe you might consider shutting the music off in the background.
4. Maybe you should collect your thoughts on how to do the song to get to the point a little quicker than 29 minutes.
5. Other than that, I thought it was great.
It was standard tuning dude, theres a capo on there. And yeah sorry about the background music, i dont live by myself, i live with other folks and i dont wanna be a tyrant and tell everyone to shut up lol - ivw tried to anyway and it doesnt work xD anyway your right about the length, ive tightened it up in my later vids. Thanks for feedback man
+Howtorockacampfire Who´s standard.....it´s not 440.......trust me. If your tuner says it is then check your batteries....
Great job bro thanks a lot it helped!!
amazing song, thanks
love it great thanx
I can't get the video to play. It plays the ad and then afterward won't load your video. I really want to learn this song.
Damn that's weird man, sorry about that. Its playing through my computer... I'm no comp wiz, so I don't no what the problem could possibly be :( Does anybody else have this problem, by chance?
From the Great White North, a huge thanks. Peace from Canada!!
jeannie ken Right on neighbor! I'm from Ontario :)
***** Cool, we are in BC!!
jeannie ken Nice! Good to know that you guys are keepin it fresh on the East coast :D
jeannie ken **Sorry, I responded from my other channel lol
“You no funk, but you don’t care, you ain’t no square, with your corkscrew hair “
are you robert plants love child?
You sing just fine and the lesson was great and thorough. Thank you for posting.
Right on thanks man, glad I could help
Cool rock hair
Nice tone. Is that a Yamaha?
Thanks Kid.
Great hair man! Love it! You seem like a really cool person. Are you in a band?
Lol of course! The band I'm in is gonna be comin out with our own stuff on the internet in the new year, actually, and you guys'll be able to check it all out. We're all old style classic psychedelic Rock and stuff, I'm sure everyone who checks out my channel is going to be interested in it :D I'll keep every body posted once we get the thing in the air. Thanks bro
1. tune your guitar. 2. learn the song.
wow!!
You seem a bit confused.
+Dave Ferreira I would say indecisive is a more apt description.
@@arthurbishop3173 All the same, this is the best RUclips lesson on this song by a country mile.
thank you
Why the noise in the background? It's wrong to make a tutorial when noise from the homie and his radio. Be professional
Turn the background music off first.
take too long to get to the point I wanna watch but fell asleep
Between the hair constantly falling in your face and the electric guitar in the background and the out of tune guitar my PTSD has officially been triggered. I need to go break something. Otherwise great info.
The ptsd part I got ya 😆🤣
Great tutorial! But dude....turn off the background music! : ) Always wanted to learn this song. Thanks!
Wow imagine if he was your driving instructor 🙏
That's a guitar, not a guicar, ffs...
is the from the 80's
Early 70s
👍👍👍👍
AT 22:23. what it looks like to be saved by rock and roll.
great song, thanks, can you show some gordie Sampson stuff?
you got the hair, I'll give you that! Robert Plant enthusiast perhaps?
EnergeticWaves Peter Frampton....👍
Turn off the music in the background, it fucks with your video
Even with that, it's ten times better than the next best No Sugar lesson.
Maybe some rehearsal before you actually recorded this would have been helpful, for EVERYONE!
Dude, you’re roughly early in the 20’s. And look like you’ve never left 1969. Lol
Just watching you gives me angst..its like I want to shake u and say dude get the cobwebs out..lol
Yo is that Danny Duncan, no it’s Jim Morrison, wait no its peter frampton
Cute 80s hair.
I would use open G
? The bass riff sounds good, but also sounds good open D to third fret A to open A to third , first, third fret on low E string. (All fret numbers based on the capo as the nut).
You love all the same stuff I do, you must have cool parents.
dude wear aheadband!!!! stop using 5 hour energy before your lesson!!!
Thanks dude! You might want to pull your hair back during your next tutorial. You spent more time messing with it than playing, lol. JUST KIDDING, I’m sure it’s short these days.
trim those wires or you'll put your eye out.
NARLEY SHIT DUDE ! NARLEY SHIT !
Kill the background noise
You can clip those strings dude they figured that out about 50 years ago. Oh and there's a poodle laying on your head, and could you turn that background noise off? On second thought leave it on, it sounds a hell of a lot better than you.LMAO!!!!!
Son you may be having a seizure.
Ok kids, this is what generation X did before text messaging and facebook were around. Come to think of it, we all looked like this also.
what's with the annoying background music? Try a bit harder dude
you should be taking lessons not trying to teach
That hair is driving you crazy. Looks like you are swatting flies between strums. If you really want to be sixties wear a head band or something.
I don't believe that is a capo.
ITS NOT. ITS A CAPO WANNABE !
Talk less..Play more..
Turn off the shitty background noise!!!
Lessons should be clear and concise...this is anything but....Sorry.
If you want clear and concise, then you gotta pay for it
Get a haircut and get a real job.
Wow what a horrible channel, 4 minutes of commercials even with ad blocker before anything happens. Sorry after the 3.5 minute mark I left, never saw the video.
jajajajajajajaj!!!
I must be getting old, but, between the background noise, the lack of preparation and the hair in your eyes, I only made it to 4:57 and I turned it off! Too bad cause I thought "this kid probably has it right" but I won't know!
Way too many distractions for me !!!
I'm a huge fan of long rock and roll hair, but dude, cut that f'n curl enough so it's out of your eye or get a hair clip or somethin', geeze-louise!!!
Chuck you, Farley...
Dude... this is tedious.
Smart kid...just don't sing.
