Do NOT hire a full party. After your first inn rest, Capcom will send you a pawn who knows where all the starter missions are. They'll cost you some rift crystals, but they'll really help you find your feet!
I think they still show up even if you’re full, you just have to dismiss a pawn after you hire them. I’ve got two pawns from Capcom, even though I already took another one at the start, so I was full the second time.
I switched my controller buttons from L1 to L2 and R1 to R2 and it makes a world of difference. Much easier to hold the trigger to activate skills/blocks than the shoulder buttons IMO.
Save at the goddamn inns! I started the game yesterday, and reached the capital. Went off exploring and got stuck in a quick save situation where I couldn't escape. Had to revert to my last inn save and realized I had only done so at the first inn of the game. Oh well, I stumbled upon stuff I missed the first time because I was rushing.
I've done that. Just re download your cloud save and your last auto save will still be there. Helped me out so much so I didn't have to redo 6 hours worth of shit.
Someone’s pawn came up to me in-game and offered their services, which is something I don’t remember happening in the first game. Anyway, I didn’t like his smugness though, so into the briny water he went 😊
I’ve enjoyed the game a lot. Combat is fun, different to other games; I like the fact that we can discover new vocations. My biggest con (specific to my taste) is how complicated finding quests characters to progress. Fast travel isn’t great although not a big deal.
@@mbrochh82 That could certainly be why for me. I started back in Elite (non-Dangerous) & Battle Of Britain in the pre-Windows days so it always felt like the right way to do it.
The hand is for missions, the exclamation point ( lil stick with dot at bottom)is for caves, chests, campsites, and rift stones of which there are 2 varieties (multi use and single use), in single use you will get only one pawn , but it will be many lvlc higher than you , and its free. dismiss pawns every couple lvls as they will be lvled by their owner or just get new ones
I’m on ps5 performance is totally enjoyable will continue to play and be grateful I didn’t go in first looking for reviews but I am enjoying everyone’s take on this . Happy gaming ya .
Choose a vocation you don't plan on playing first so when you do change vocation you'll get the outfit. I chose a fighter at the start and you will never get the armor unless you buy some later.
biggest tip i can give is DO NOT SELL wrymelife crystals…. cos you fucking need them. did the melve dragon before the story took me there and i sold the crystals unknowingly knowing what the fuck they were and then i needed 15 for the main story and had to struggle for hours trying to find and beat dragons
This is got decade hands down! Playing on ps5 no complaints about performance and the micro trannys are not even needed or worth it - however, the game and gameplay is the best ive ever played in an openworld fantasy game, hands down!! Fun for years 😮
i might get it in a sale, but prices of some of these new games are getting insane. here in nz its $20 more than it used to be for digital edition. 120 is insane. might go back to buyig physical i have seen some at 100
He played a late stage section back in, I wanna say January? But besides that, he has of course played a good chunk of the game from the start. He talks about how much he'd played in the livestream that went up the other day.

Oooh good tip, I’ve pinned this one!
That's probably how the dragon's plague is spreading, taking the easy way with Capcom plants

Where do I find the pawn.

I might try that. Thanks. Such an immersive rpg! I love it
lol the legs 😂👏🏻

Yeah, one of the tutorials even pops up and mentions you can find 'wandering pawns' during your travels.
I remember the first game it happened alot

In finding Quest as you Roam around town the NPC’s with quests will just run up to you and start talking… how is that hard ??
2:02 - The unholy mix of Wario and Waluigi 🤣
Looks like Ian's arisen skipped leg day. Love the video. Thanks
Good to see I'm not the only one who plays with inverted camera..😂
It is the only way.
💪

@mbrochh82 Personally never played those, or used a joystick. It just always felt more natural to me. It works like that in a airplane too, AFAIK.

Over 100 hours and never noticed the Camera slider omg.
omg that character Ian.
😂 look at those legs 1:52
The map makes me feel dumb trying to get to story missions got Like 2 hours in and can't figure nothing out haha
I love how everyone is jumping on the "there's DLC" bandwagon and missing out on the best most addictive rpg since Dark Souls 1.
Especially as you can just mod the game into not needing any of the DLC
It's more the performance issues I care about.
Game runs flawless on series x@@troy8420

You really don't notice significant drops? The city sections look really bad@@reefermon7048

This game satisfies my inner goblin looter/hoarder fantasies😂 I save everything in case I need it later. Same thing I did in the first game.
Lizael 8:42 😉
Your character tho…. 😂👍
Someone's been skipping leg day..
Nothing like running out of stamina and getting "tossed off" by a minotaur.
Another tip REMEMBER WHERE YOU FOUND YOUR FIRST SEEKER TOKEN!! Like this comment if you know 😂😂
Is there a way to escape monster grab attack?
Spam ur jump button! I don't know if it does anything but it's the only button that the game allows you to hit!

I played the first game but that was a decade ago. I forgot everything Capcom.
Don’t skip leg day kids.

If you’re playing on steam it 45% off on CdKeys when I got it maybe it is still on sale 👍🏾
How are grocery prices for you guys over there?
@@chrisj320ac3 insane. What I would normally buy for 20 is now close to 50
Ur character is hilarious. Lol
Dude skipped leg day...
Ugliest character ever
calling the ox cart fast travel. LOL. If you don't doze of it's slower then walking
and what makes you think that people DONT take a nap while riding the ox carts??? wtf bro thinks he's onto something
I wish the fast travels was better for late game.
I modded the stones and port crystals so I have unlimited fast travel 😂
Apart from #1 this is a list for people who have never played a game, any game, before. Comments are a lot more useful, read some of those instead.
Beginner tips from someone who has notvplayed beginning. Hilarious

STRANGE GAME - the ONLY winning move is NOT to play
you should stop playing the game called "posting youtube comments" 👌👌
