The number of complaints this game is getting because of the microtransactions is completely ridiculous. Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen has the same microtransactions and nobody cared then because they were pointless, and nobody bought them (same as now). This game is phenomenal and worth every penny, a must play. Don't listen to the mockingbirds repeating what others are crying about online. Thanks for this great starting out guide.
Is it though? People are valid for their opinions on micro transactions, not only that but the numerous performance issues is also a thing. I personally like my full priced games to include everything.

The difference is the camping gear. It weighs less if you purchase them….. in a game where a couple tenths of a kg means the difference between fat rolling and dying or normal roll and escaping. I say just plan better and forget the issue altogether
@Glostahdude ahhh. I didn't know that, I pre-ordered which came with some of those, which apparently unlocks it as a purchaseable, and it does make a big difference. _That_ is annoying. Ngl, can't lie.

For that chest located at the top of the waterfall, you can reach it by having a fighter pawn with you and pressing "Go!" While looking at the rock and they will booster jump you up instead of having to go around the long way. Really helpful guide!
Love the game finished it already and had a blast doing it. Only problem I have with it is definitely enemy variety, there’s less then half the enemies that there were in the first game. Now it sounds like splitting hairs but honestly to me it matters I like to fight as many different types of bosses and other creatures as I can, but in this game I just fought the same thing over and over again. The ending was sick made up for the stale enemy variety and gameplay was good to, but idk man I think a couple more enemy types need to be added.
@@DarthSpecky I enjoyed it, wasn’t what I expected it to be but was I pleasantly surprised, just upset that you technically can’t fight the final boss. What ending did you get?
If you are just now finding this video because you just picked the game. He says you can sell the Jasper for 800 but I would suggest you put any jasper you find into storage. Later in the game you come to a place called bakbattahl and jasper is scarce there so they will pay 2800 gold for them.
You can also kill that dragon with a ballista that is close by. Hit it once and then reload, but wait for it to start flying away. Hit it again and it comes crashing down. Rinse and repeat. Recommend getting an inn save first or if you miss, immediately go back to title and reload auto save, should put you right back on the ox cart.
This is a great start, I will warn people tho - don't sell all off the Courtly Tunics as you will need these for later missions, and to buy them back it's like 150k, Good Luck Arisen.
I usually end up with better armor than the marchers just exploring. Occasionally big monsters drop armor pieces, got even better leggings any class can wear from killing a minotaur. Idk about PC, but it's a fairly popular piece people put on their pawns on PS5. Pretty sure people love it cause it shows off the legs. And I got a cool sorcerer staff killing a wight, wights in Dragon's Dogma are those levitating undead sorcerers. Better than any staff I've found around the first area shops and relatively easy to upgrade. Though playing on a alt account I noticed my main account is lucky with gear drops from bosses. As far as why alt accounts? It's something old Dragon's Dogma players did to farm rift crystals and don't have friends to use your pawn for you. Also to train pawns and see how OP we can make them at low levels, not through damage. But through training the pawn AI, they can be conditioned to never get hit and avoid or deflect all attacks. Training pawns is very tedious though and if it's like the first game it's best to have them unarmed so they just watch you fight. Like I said, tedious and it's also not necessary. But I think it helps people learn how to fight and die less often
Have you made a vid on getting one of the best shields in the castle vault since you dont need a key if you just follow the queen in it has high stats but also reflects medusas gaze i think i havent fought the medusa yet lmao

The marchers armor set is ok since its rather light for the protection given however it lacks any elemental or debilitation resistances therefore IMO once you're ready to really venture out and start battling boss enemies (Griffon Golem etc) you're gonna want elemental resistance. Same against harpys and other creatures that can put you to sleep or set you ablaze.
