    Perfect timing for your video!! Thank you for sharing! Question... Being a 12v constant on detector, what fuse did you need to pull before cutting wires? Or did you not need to pull a fuse before cutting wires? Thanks in advance. 1st time viewer new subscriber!

      I didn't pull a fuse. Low voltage, I just went for it. No issue. But I'm sure you could pull a fuse or disconnect the battery if you want.

    You cant just replace a battery?

      These run off the 12v car battery of your RV. These detectors have about a 5yr life then they need to be replaced.
