- Kevin Smith gave details on the batman Forever Schumacher Cut on his Fatman Beyond podcast last Monday. The cut exists, but after watching the podcast, I'm still not sure it will be released.

I liked it but awesome is not how I would describe it.
More significantly WBD ought to do justice to David Ayer and #ReleaseTheAyerCut of Suicide Squad in all it's golden glory before WBD dissolves as a company and have themselves sold to Netflix or NBC for example especially after the Flash bombing at the theatrical box office. Plus it seems like Blue Beetle and Aquaman 2 will bomb too.
They might going to Only release the Schumacher's Cut and distract us from the Ayer cut. 🙄😑

And what the hell,why not. I want to see this First cut if this movie. With 37 extra mins of film, you can bet anyone who is a Batman fan will want to be able to see this. Warner Bros. I know you dont have to make it happen but PLEASE.. just Make it happen. A blu ray and DVD release as well as a premiere on HBO max would be awesome!!

I didn't get to see the IMAX but I saw the "screenx" version. Pretty good for what it was. I could kind of tell where Warner meddled and caused reshoots. The CG effects are worse in the reshoots. Hopefully we get an extended edition in 4k or bluray

i cam across the deleted/ extended scenes soneone posted on yt 10/ years ago the giant bat scene and he reads his fathers diary and understands its not his fault what happend to his partents and him geting his memory back would have been cool to see but seeing the deleted/extended cut out of context is weird id love to see the movie with this stuff added back in the films awesome
After flash i rewatched all batman films. For some reason i wanted to watch batman forever twice. It was the 1 hated the most after flash surprisingly its my favourite batman film. Ben affleck was my favourite batman before and i hayed val as bat but now Val kilmer is my favourite batman. For a comic book movie made then its great. Maybe when i was a kid i misunderstood it.
Instead of calling it the Schumacher cut since Joel passed away, they could just call it an extended edition
he played it at the movie theater tonight “allegedly”… it wasn’t crazy different, the intro is definitely slower pace but not a whole lot different most of it is added b roll or extra angels in some fight scenes, again this is allegedly;)
I bet if evil cancer didn’t get to Val Kilmer, he would have been the Bruce at the end of the new flash movie instead of Christian Bale.

If they release it .. WB will have to repay everyone again. So look at the orginal production cost for the film and do you think they will pay this all out just to hardkore fans to watch it.. i dowt it

I don't think you can't like stuff, it's just when the false hype of a movie doesn't reach near the manufactured expectations and is most definitely sub bar that we all get a little but sour due to the frustration of WBD with DC
