This takes me back, man. My grandfather (RIP) had a farm outside of Kingston, ON., and I used to help him load up his old Ford and we'd drive it all off to the dump. It was a chance for us to connect, tell stories, sing, whatever! Good times. Thanks for the memories!

I watched that part about 8 times, and I don't think it was made in post. Seems like his friend was hiding under the light umbrella and when Peter jumps over it, the exchange takes place. He gives the camera to his friend, who keeps filming while Peter hides under the umbrella. He later added an audio recording of himself talking...

And about the "i am inspired by doing what I love", what difference makes to randomize the winner? Not only it doesn't solve that, but also makes it worse. What if the random winner was "First comment"?

You had people pouring their hearts out on what/who inspires them for you to just in the end use a random generator?!?!?!?!?! I understand that you got way more comments than you anticipated, but you HAD to know that you'd get at least a couple THOUSAND responses. It's like in the end what the person wrote didn't matter at all because the person "you picked" wasn't picked on the original criteria YOU requested. This wasn't well planned or thought out. You would've been better off just grabbing names from commenters, throwing them in a hat and picking one and skipping the whole "what inspires you" farce. Do better Peter, do better.
I read 1,000's. All 86K? Obviously not. A random generator gives everyone who participated an equal chance at winning. I'm comfortable knowing all my subscribers had an equal share in the pot VS choosing a comment at random without being able to see them all. The inspirational direction with this, is not only MY criteria, but aids in my efforts to create a positive community where everyone is learning, growing and inspired by one another. I'm doing just fine, thanks :)
