Great video---one pipeline for the airlines is the military---the services are not meeting recruiting quotas, so they will also have to adjust to attract and retain pilots.
Currently a flight instructor holding a couple of CJO’s at regional airlines and it’s truly nuts how much is changing by the day with the industry. Would definitely recommend to people not to chase the ‘fast track’ commercial flight school. I see too many students come to us with no rating and just a massive bill. It works for some, but don’t discount your local flight schools. So long as you advocate for yourself/your needs in training, you can really make the most out of a part 61 school (non-university/FAA syllabus run school) and get your training done just as fast and a lot cheaper.

Thanks for shining some light on those of us in the field and future prospective airline pilots like myself. It's funny that not many people aren't interested in becoming a pilot, but I guess the lifestyle and what comes with it, for many, isn't that attractive.

A lot of Airlines are developing their own Pilot training. Aviate is a good deal. I'm too old but my airline has one also and they love flight attendants that want to move into the FD.

Not a lot of people are interested in signing up with any military branches at the moment but maybe they’ll attract more people somehow
