    I really needed this thank you so much, I haven't ever come across anyone on YT who explained this so clearly.

    Been messing with Fusion360 for a couple weeks now. Really enjoyed the vid. But realizing I don’t know much at all. Ha. Will be watching this more than once. I liked how you shaped the canopy.

    I design in solidworks but I watched your tutorial because i always felt freeforming is easier in fusion, and i never used it. quite interesting, i'll give it a try thank you. The thought process is very similar but I always find the cleanup difficult in solidworks.

    Do you think you can do a tutorial on one of the Gatehunter pods? This was very useful!

    Amazing tutorial, I'm going to watch this multiple times in the future. If I had one suggestion I would love it if every time you press a keyboard shortcut you just say the key and what it does. You did it a lot toward the end but it would really help to hear it every time a shortcut is pressed.

      Thanks man! And thanks for the feedback. Absolutely right I had a hard time with the shortcuts because I'm so used to them haha. I'll do that differently in the upcoming tutorials

    Try using alt+dragging an edge. It will create another section. And you can continue to do that until you are satisfied.

      @@DaveCFPV Arbeite zur Zeit gerade an meinen eigenen Frame, für einen 6" longrange quad. Bin mir aber nicht so sicher, ob ich nicht einen 7" bauen soll. Was würdest du empfehlen? Der quad soll mindestens 7min Flugzeit schaffen und ca. 3+ km raus und wieder zurück fliegen. Welches setup würdest du mir da empfehlen?

    • @DaveCFPV
      @DaveCFPV  4 года назад

      @@ariafpv ja bin aus Deutschland! :-D Also bis vor kurzem hätte ich gesagt 6". Damit bekommst du 6-7min und 3km easy hin ohne Probleme mit Vibrationen, Tuning und schwammigem Handling die 7" hatte. Mit den neuen 2806.5 Motoren, BF4.1 und HQ triblades ist 7" aber echt echt extrem gut mittlerweile. Also lieber gleich 7". Musst aber trotzdem vorsichtig sein den Frame steif genug zu bekommen.

    • @ariafpv
      @ariafpv 4 года назад

      @@DaveCFPV Vielleicht wäre es aber trotzdem einfacher einen 6" zu designen. Habe mit anderen darüber gesprochen und die meisten haben 7" für longrange. Habe dann KababFPV gefragt, und der hat mir gesagt er würde mir einen 6er empfehlen, auch wenn er einen 7zoll mit den 2806.5 selbst getestet hat. Er meint auch, dass man mit einem 7zoll garnicht unbedingt länger fliegen kann. Mit 6" ist es auch einfacher die Props aus dem Video zu bekommen. Bin mir aber echt nicht sicher was ich mir zulegen soll. Hab auch kein Geld um 20 Akkus und Motoren zu kaufen, bis ich das richtige gefunden hab
