    I've been an engineer for 30 years, last used CAD about 25 years ago, so I'm using Corona lockdown to teach myself Fusion 360. I've been through the Fusion tutorials and your tutorial has been a great help with T splines.
    Thank you very much for taking the time to make this video, it is appreciated.

    Nice...thank you. I was struggling to find the way forward in modelling a canopy for my drone and this video helped me. It would be nice if you can keep doing this series and address issues such as how to embed geometry/solids in the free-form model. I.e. supports, screws holes, standoff for connection with the chassis etc.

      Hell yeah. Also crazy thing was I clicked on your video and was like, oh shit, I know that guy! Chatted with you at the SQ1conference in Chicago this past summer. haha. Quick question, I imported a fusion 360 file into keyshot, and when I try and drag a material onto it, it changes the whole product to that material. I tried unlinking the material, and also saving as an STL, but have had no luck in separating the materials. Any suggestions?

    Thanks. However, when you were straightening the edges, you grabbed it and pulled it, then put in a value (0.01) each time. Why did you move it first? Is there a reason? And why that value, you described doing it, but not why. Also, when you creased the windshield/roof, I didn't see a value for the crease, just selected and hit ok. Is there no control over the value, or did I miss where it was entered? Nice video, you said what you were doing, just not always why. I'm trying to figure out if I'm going to get into F360, figured tutorials would help. Thanks.

    • @paulsohi9015
      @paulsohi9015  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Adam! the function I did is a trick where if you scale an edge down to 0.01, it makes it straighten up, that's why. I moved it for visuals for myself. The crease function has no integer value associated, it is a binary crease or not creased. If you want control, you can do that with the bevel function!
      Thanks for the feedback, I am long overdue to make part 3 of this

    Hi Paul, This is the first tut of yours that I've started to watch and unfortunately I have had to stop. It is the undulating sound of the narrative that is affecting my taking it all in, high - low - high - low. I would respectfully suggest trying to keep an even volume and also to be more decisive in your actions. It is not helpful to the student to have the tutor hesitating on what icon he should be pressing. So, again with full respect, watch your own tutorial and see if you get what I am talking about. Thank you and kind regards. Ted
