6:50 what size is that clip I need a lot of them. Mine fell off. I got smaller once but I want to replace those as they hold up the main plastic cover.
Thanks for the video, I hit a curb and just realized from your video that the metal part of the shield in my 2012 civic is missing, the plastic is intact. Do you think I have to change the whole thing or will I be able to find the metal part and put it in. Is it safe to drive without it.
Hello, how do I go about purchasing this part? I can't seem to find it when I Google for it and the ones on E Bay don't look like yours. Thanks in advance
You might want to roll that back window up and disconnect the motor. If it stopped working, it will stop working again, and probably it will rain shortly. 692 is plenty of miles; don't run your tank dry unless you want to clog your fuel filter.
Hey Aaron. Can you please post an email contact in your about section. I can't thank you enough for doing these Hybrid videos. As I write this ,I'm doing the spark plug, valve cover gasket, and timing service right now. Would love to arrange a phone call about the IMA controller repair. I have some info to pass on to you. Also would love to send you some beer money. I'm serious. Thanks, Dean
Thanks Dean. I'm a bit concerned about putting too much info out because of a lot of scammer hits recently. Would love to chat in the comments though. Let me know how the car is going and I'm more than willing to help. Thanks! Aaron
@@aaronsrose I understand that. Going to be starting a channel myself and I watch a lot of Tube and hear people deal with it. If you put up a paypal link you will see the donors e-mail. That would be one way to be safe. I have figured out a possible fix for the IMA controller that fails. A certain part goes bad. A part that a person with electronics skill could fix and save big bucks. You mentioned maybe rehabbing more of these hybrids now that you figured out quite a few things about them. I figured I might could help you considering you help me massively.
Thanks man. I'll see about that paypal thing. Been rodonculus at the house lately. And my 37 Ford Drag & Drive car is finally ready to be picked up so that's the topic for the next 5 weeks until Rocky Mountain Raceweek 2.0. In any case, I did look into the SCRs for the inverter as that is what I think typically fails. If you can find them cheap, it's a great, fairly simple fix if you can solder. Though I was only able to find them form China at the time and for about $300 each. I've still been watching the auctions, and I think I got in at the last decent minute. None of the cars I'd consider are going for much under $4k before fees now that people realize gas is not cheap for a while. Ah well. We'll keep looking. Thanks again! Aaron
Bro… thanks for making this video and taking all the time. So helpful.

Love the Christine reference

I'd just leave it. Mine got hung up on something and I had to cut a part of it off. Doesn't seem to make any significant difference. Thanks!
@@aaronsrose thank you
It should be safe just a little less aerodynamic

Howdy! I actually bought it through a Toyota dealer online. That was the only place I could find it at the time. Thanks!
Hey would this cover fit a 2015 Honda civic coupe? Cause online says it wouldn’t but the coupes look very similar?
I don't think so. The hybrid lower cover was even different than the standard sedan. Thanks!
@@aaronsrose thank you brotha 🤝
Can i get the sedan version cheap somewhere?
Do you have a link to the website you ordered the part from I can’t find it anywhere
I'll see if i can find it. Thanks!
Nothing yet? I need the link for the website
ME TOO
I JUST FIND IN MY DEALER HONDA
BUT I LOOKING FOR OTHER CHEAPER OPTION
